Please consider what I am about to ask you, as an illustration of how ridiculous it is to have more than one Holy Bible. What if you bought something, let's say an answering machine, and it came with two instruction booklets in the same language. My answering machine came with a 92-page owner's manual. No kidding! It took my a month to finally figure the thing out! It also came with instructions in several; different languages. But what if there were two different, conflicting instruction manuals in English? That would be insane! If I called the company to complain, what could they even say in their defense?
As another illustration, what if there were two U.S. Constitutions, which conflicted with each other on key points? The fact that two existed would be confusing enough. Granted, there have been several dozen amendments made to the U.S. Constitution over the years, but there is only ONE U.S. Constitution today. The U.S. Constitution was written by men. It is an imperfect document authored by imperfect men, as brilliant a masterpiece and full of commonsense wisdom as it is! It would cause endless confusion if our founding fathers has written two different conflicting U.S. Constitutions to guide our government.
So why is it that we can see the foolishness of having multiple instruction manuals, or two U.S. Constitutions, but we cannot see the folly of having two different Bibles? What if you were lost and asked someone for directions, and they gave you two different conflicting explanations? You'd think they were nuts! So why do we go along with the insanity of more than one Bible versions? I could give you hundreds of illustrations, such as the ones I have already provided for you to consider.
When a nation goes to war against an enemy, the first thing they do is launch air strikes against the enemy's infrastructure. They bomb the roads, fuel depots, airstrips (so planes can't take off or land), supply warehouses and key targets. Likewise, the Devil targets the incorruptible inspired Word of God, publishing hundreds of corrupt decoys to mislead and confuse everyone. Satan targets the churches, infiltrating them with suave false prophets like Dr. John MacArthur. The Bible warns us about ungodly men who make fair speeches, deceiving the simple, who bring in damnable heresies...
Romans 16:17-18, “Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.”Notice that by their “good works” and “fair speeches” they deceive the hearts of the simple. By “simple” the Bible means unlearned concerning the truth of the Scriptures. People by nature trust religious leaders. People foolishly assume that just because a man is up being a church pulpit that he must be competent, trustworthy and reliable as a source of truth. Nothing could be further from the truth! The Bible plainly warns that such false prophets deceive the simple, teaching doctrines that are contrary to what the Holy Bible teaches.
Churches today are filled with junk theology. I am amazed how naive and foolish so many churchgoers are, to embrace the same heretical doctrines as taught by Mormons, Roman Catholics, Jehovah's Witness and Seventh-Day Adventists, all of which turning from sins to be saved, or to remain saved. That is what Bob Jones University now teaches! That is not the free gift of God, which is eternal life. All of this garbage theology has crept into the Bible colleges and churches from the Devil's Bible revisions!
If you wouldn't use two different conflicting maps, why have two different Bibles? Please watch the sermon titled: “ANTICHRIST BIBLE VERSIONS” | MP3 by Pastor Steven L. Anderson. It matters which Bible you use. The only people today saying that it doesn't matter are doctrinally corrupted, preaching the lie of Lordship Salvation, and the “turn from your sins” garbage that sends people to Hell. Eternal life is a free gift from God, that you simply receive by faith in Jesus Christ to have; it doesn't cost you your sins or the world. Anyone who says that getting saved will cost you something is preaching another Gospel.
“Be on guard against any tampering with the Word, whether disguised as a search for truth, or a scholarly attempt at apparently hidden meanings; and beware of the confusion created by the senseless rash of new versions, translations, editions, and improvements upon the tried and tested Bible of our fathers and grandfathers.” —“THE TABERNACLE,” page 101
