Bob Jones University was founded in 1927 by Dr. Bob Jones Sr. (1883-1968). Sadly, and tragically, the college has deteriorated into a ecumenical nightmare by 2020. In their BJU Statement of Faith, the college boasts that they haven't changed since they began in 1927, but any honest observer familiar with BJU's history knows they HAVE CHANGED! They've changed for the worse!
In 1927 you couldn't have found a BJU female student wearing pants, but today they all wear pants. Their girl's athletic teams wear shorts, giving the males a leg show. Bob Jones Sr. NEVER would have allowed such immodesty to happen at his college. Dr. Jones would be disgusted if he could see what the college he founded, to train young people to be Christians leaders, has degraded into—a money-making business that patterns itself after the sinful world, and the apostate religious community. BJU didn't deteriorate overnight, their downfall have been slow and incremental. I wouldn't recommend for any young person to attend BJU today, unless you want to attend a secular university with a religious feeling.
In 1927 Bob Jones College only used to inspired King James Bible. Sadly, after Bob Jones Sr. went to Heaven, they started promoting the Devil's Bible revisions. I am alarmed today how many professed Independent Fundamental Baptists deny the VERBAL INSPIRATION of the King James Bible! Although BJU does not claim to be Baptist, they are one of the most apostate sources of corruption in Baptist churches today. Bob Jones University is the fountainhead of the heretical Greek of Westcott and Hort. It is sad and tragic. I rejoice every time I read or hear a man of God proclaim the INSPIRATION of the King James Bible. Here are some such notable men, to name but a few:

Psalms 12:6-7, “The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.” Unfortunately, all of the modern Bible revisions corrupt this passage, completely removing God's promise, changing it to God protects His saints instead of His Words. Dear friend, inspiration without preservation is meaningless; but equally so, inspiration without preservation is also meaningless!
The Harvest Baptist Church on Guam might as well hang out a big sign that says: “Bob Jones University on Guam, helping people develop a heart for ecumenical apostasy!” The church officially uses multiple different Bibles, including the heretical Westcott And Hort Greek Alexandrian texts. The church allows multiple plans of salvation, ranging from the free grace Gospel taught by Pastor Curtis Hutson (1934-1995), to the damnable counterfeit gospel of Lordship Salvation taught by Pastor John MacArthur. Officially, the church teaches Lordship Salvation, as I heard with my own two ears from the senior pastor in 2014. According to Harvest's pastor, “Admitting you are a sinner is not good enough, you MUST also turn away from a lifestyle of sin!”
That senior pastor is on his way to Hell in his false gospel of partial faith in Christ plus works. This is the garbage that Bob Jones University is promoting nowadays. The senior pastor of Harvest is best friends with Dr. Steve Petite, present leader of BJU (both raking in 6-digit salaries from these apostate institutions). The fact that BJU would hire an ecumenical minister like Dr. Steve Petite shows the degeneracy of Bob Jones College today! I wouldn't send my dog to Bob Jones!!! From immodestly dressed female staff and students, to the stench of their pompous arrogance, to student's ignored reports of rape allegations on campus, to teaching and sanctioning Lordship Salvation, to their promotion of Satanic Bible revisions—Bob Jones University has gone apostate! What a hellhole Bob Jones University and their alumni have become!!!
