The New International Version (NIV) is a sneaky snake. It's not just another translation of the Bible. Zondervan publisher's parent company is Harper Collins, owned by Ruppert Murdock. Harper Collins also publishes “The Satanic Bible” and “The Joy Of Gay Sex.” Murdock owns all the rights to the NIV series of the Bible, placing the work of translation into the hands of unsaved heathens and not the New Testament Church. Unholy hands have greedily butchered the Word of God for profit.
The NIV admittedly in its introduction says they gathered several dozen religious denominations together, to ask them what changes they'd like to see to the NIV. This was done under the noble pretense of preventing sectarian bias (religious prejudice). In reality, this was done to broaden their marketing base. The companies are doing it for money, but Satan is doing it to prepare the world's masses to receive the soon coming Antichrist.
Please understand that the goal of the Committee On Biblical Translation (CBT) who translated the NIV was(is) not doctrinal integrity and loyalty to God; but rather, to render the Bible more appealing by aligning it with the feminist and sexually immoral agendas of our quickly deteriorating U.S. culture. This is why the Today's New International Version (TNIV) was gender-inclusive and removed the words “he” and “him” in literally thousands of places. The version was shunned by many churches, so Zondervan quickly cancelled it, although millions of copies are still being sold and won't fade off the market for several more years.
What few Christians understand, and it is more of a threat than Ebola, is that the NIV is a work in progress. It is like John Carpenter's terrifying monstrous creature in the 1984 movie “THE THING.” In the movie, Kurt Russell is alarmed when told by a coworker that The Thing which they just burned to death with a flamethrower IS NOT DEAD YET! Likewise, the NIV is not dead yet! It's still alive at a cellular level, like The Thing. The NIV was first published in 1978. It was revised in 1984. The NIV has copyright dates for 1973, 1978, 1984 and 2011.
Look at this big mess. Folks, God only wrote ONE BOOK. The following statistics reveal the confusion and utter perversion which Satan is deliberately causing in our churches today (and that includes Independent Fundamental Baptist Churches). Notice that the updated NIV 2011 is 38.8% different than the original NIV 1984...
The NIV 2011 should be considered the offspring of the TNIV (Today’s NIV), and the grandson of the NIV 1984. The genetic stock shared by all three translations is 18859 verses, which is 60.7% verse similarity. Some genetic traits skip a generation, and this is the case 0.6% of the time, where the NIV 1984 and the NIV 2011 share 171 verses of commonality against the TNIV. But as one would imagine, the child is more similar to the parent, and the TNIV and the NIV 2011 share 31.3% genetic makeup, or 9736 verses. But genetics alone cannot prevent mutations and variation, so the NIV 2011 is unique 7.5% of the time, or 2320 verses of originality. Broken down, this means that the NIV 2011 is 38.8% different than the NIV 1984 and 8% different than the TNIV. (See Robert Slowley. John Dyer has slightly different figures).
SOURCE: SBC VOICES and see also, NIV 2011 comparison with the NIV 1984 and TNIVBless God, the good ole King James Bible hasn't changed one bit! Amen! The Devil isn't going to stop changing the Bible. Each succeeding new version, particularly the NIV series is going to wax worse and worse as the Bible teaches. 2nd Timothy 3:12, “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” The churches are being deceived. They might as well begin a “Bible-of-the-month-club.” Heresy is creeping into our Independent Fundamental Baptist churches by the hour. 2nd Timothy 4:3, “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears.” Tragically, it's today's shameful pastors who won't tolerate sound doctrine (the truth) anymore.
“If it's settled in Heaven, why are we trying to change it down here?” —Brother Lester Roloff, a quote from the awesome MP3 sermon titled: “Wisdom Of The Word” (Psalms 119:89)
