Most Baptists Don't Love Jesus

Psalms 119:139-142, “My zeal hath consumed me, because mine enemies have forgotten thy words. Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it. I am small and despised: yet do not I forget thy precepts. Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.”

I am afraid no one can give you an exact number for the English translations and paraphrases of the Bible printed since Tyndale's New Testament of 1526. In part this is due to the difficulty of determining what should be defined as a new translation as opposed to a correction or a revision of an existing translation. There is the additional question of how we should count translations that include not a complete Bible or Testament, but just a group of books or even a single book. And then, of course, there is the difficulty of sheer numbers. With all these caveats in mind, the number of printed English translations and paraphrases of the Bible, whether complete or not, is about 900. Dear reader, we have a BIG PROBLEM in America today! Whereas Psalms 119:140 declares that God's Word is “VERY PURE,” we have upwards of 900 English Bible versions!!! How can they all be pure? Obviously they cannot, since they all disagree to some extent, sometimes drastically, and in hundreds of places!

Satan's First Appearance Was Under The Tree Of Knowledge

The Devil made his first debut appearance in the Bible under The Tree Of Knowledge. Satan appeared in the form of a serpent in Genesis 3:1, introducing a SECOND AUTHORITY to Eve. The FIRST AUTHORITY was God's plainly spoken Word to Adam and Eve in Genesis 2:16-17; but now the serpent comes and says to Eve in the next chapter, “HATH GOD SAID?” (Genesis 3:1b). Where God had placed a period, the serpent had placed a question mark, which confused Eve. She now had to choose between TWO AUTHORITIES. Which one was correct?

Likewise, that is why in the year 1881, Satan introduced (through reprobate Anglican ministers' Brooke Westcott and Fenton Hort) an alleged “more reliable and older” ancient manuscript of the Greek Bible. It is upon this heretical manuscript that nearly every modern PERversions of the Bible has been translated). Any thinking Christian can discern this woeful evil, but most professed Christians today simply don't care. They are sinfully INDIFFERENT! Sadly, most Baptists DON'T LOVE JESUS! For if they truly did love the Lord, they would love the purity of God's Word, and HATE CORRUPTIBLE SEED!

Please don't take my word for it, take a look at this injustice below for yourself. The first Bible translation is CORRECT, from the King James Bible; but then compare and see what some of the other English revisions (PERversions) say...

KING JAMES BIBLE (KJB) — Mark 1:15, “And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” [emphasis added]

EASY-TO-READ VERSION (ERV) — Mark 1:15, “He said, “The right time is now here. God’s kingdom is very near. Change your hearts and lives, and believe the Good News!” [emphasis added]

NEW LIFE VERSION (NLV) - Mark 1:15, “He said, “The time has come. The holy nation of God is near. Be sorry for your sins, turn from them, and believe the Good News.” [emphasis added]

LIVING BIBLE (TLB) - Mark 1:15, “At last the time has come!” he announced. “God’s Kingdom is near! Turn from your sins and act on this glorious news!” [emphasis added]

Folks, being sorry for one's sins, and turning away from sinful behavior, is NOT a part of the Gospel of free grace!

I know Independent Baptist churches where multiple plans of salvation are permitted and taught. The reason why is because these churches uses multiple Bible versions, which teach different plans of salvation. st Corinthians 14:11, “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” Here's THE UGLY TRUTH ABOUT THE DIFFERENT BIBLE VERSIONS TODAY, WHICH ARE ANYTHING BUT HONEST SCHOLARSHIP. Please don't become the Devil's fool. Get you a King James Bible and love it, defend it, cherish it, read it, mediate on it, memorize it, proclaim it, study it, obey it and abide (live) therein!!!!!!!

No Baptist who is a Christian, loves the Lord Jesus Christ, who bids Godspeed to the Alexandrian Bible revisions. No Baptist who is a professed Christian, loves the Lord Jesus Christ, who sanctions Pastor John MacArthur and his demonic teachings of Calvinism (aka, Lordship Salvation). Do you love Jesus? Don't tell me you love Jesus if you tolerate false doctrines and counterfeit Bibles, because you are a liar!!! Psalms 119:104, “Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.” The man of God who genuinely knows God, and abides in the inspired Holy Scriptures, will HATE EVERY FALSE WAY!!! The modern corrupt Bible revisions are a false way! John MacArthur's false plan of salvation is a false way! Dr. MacArthur's denial of Jesus' blood on the heavenly Mercy Seat if a false way! Mr. MacArthur's teaching that children cannot be saved is a false way!

Most of our Independent Fundamental Baptist churches are filled today with phonies, who are merely playing church three times a week, going along to get along with every corrupt wind of doctrine. I am also talking about Moody Bible Institute in Chicago and their heresy of Calvinism. I am also talking about Bob Jones University in South Carolina and the multiple corrupt Bible revisions which they promote; such as, the English Standard Version (ESV). The ESV is theologically corrupt! It is tragic that thousands of IFB churches and Bible colleges today have succumbed to “ANOTHER GOSPEL” (2nd Corinthians 11:3-4). Calvinism and “turning away from sins” to be saved is not the Gospel of free grace. You come to God as a needy sinner to be saved, which is very different than being required to be willing to turn from your sins to be saved! The former is divine repentance, the latter is human reformation!

It is high time for Independent Fundamental Baptists to pick a side in the ongoing BATTLE OF THE AGES (a classic MP3 sermon by Pastor Jack Hyles from 1994) over the Word of God! We are at war over the accuracy of the Gospel, and the inspiration of God's Holy Word. Joshua 24:15, “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”
