I'm Such An Ignoramus

1st Corinthians 1:27, “But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;”

I listened to a wonderful and needful MP3 sermon earlier today by Brother Lester Roloff called: “The Book That Makes The Difference.” In the sermon Brother Roloff champions the cause of the inspired King James Bible, of which I made an MP3 excerpt titled: The King James Version Is All We Need.” In the excerpt I thought Brother Roloff said, “You're just about branded a 'Nick Ramos' if you stay with the King James Version!” I've been wondering all afternoon while working who Nick Ramos is? I went to listen to the excerpt again this evening, because I love that Brother Roloff is championing the King James Bible, and I wanted to hear him say it again. And then it finally dawned on me that he isn't saying “Nick Ramos,” he's saying “IGNORAMUS”!!! I'm such an idiot! Hey folks, you don't pay much, you don't get much...lol.

Bless God, I'd rather study my ABC's in Heaven, then learn Hebrew and Greek in Hell! The Bible says that God has chosen the ignorant things of this world (praise God there's hope for me!). Acts 4:13, “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.” You mean the apostle John who wrote the precious Gospel of John, that John? Yes, that's the ignorant one! You mean the disciple whom Jesus loved, who leaned on Jesus' breast, that John? Yes, that is the unlearned and ignorant one! I thank God for the weaknesses in my body, soul and life; for those are the very things which enable God to use me in ways that He couldn't if I were strong! Just count me a fool for Christ friend!
“Now, there's only one thing we need in America—and that is an  old-fashioned real Bible revival! I mean a real BIBLE REVIVAL! It'll straighten out the home, straighten out the children, make the husband act right, put the wife in order; it'll take care of the preacher, the church; I mean it'll fix up the community, I mean it'll stop the Devil dead in his tracks; I mean it'll give victory to God's people—the Word of God!” —Brother Lester Roloff (1914-1982), “The Book That Makes The Difference!
