There is Forgiveness Through Calvary's Cross

Luke 23:33, “And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there
they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.

As a Baptist preacher of the Gospel, I call sin by name. Evangelist Billy Sunday did too, who said:
“I believe that a long step toward public morality will have been taken when sins are called by their right names.” —Evangelist Billy Sunday
God pity the preacher that the world don't hate! A good detective doesn't believe in coincidences. A good lawyer is a contender. A good judge is tough on crime. And a good preacher doesn't compromise; he is hated by those who hate THE TRUTH, and loved by those who love righteousness! I fully agree with Billy Sunday on the Word of God, who said:
“I have more respect for the devil than for some preachers I have met; the devil believes the Bible is the Word of God!” —Evangelist Billy Sunday
The United States has clearly been under demonic attack throughout the 20th century—leading society's moral standards lower each succeeding generation, corrupting the most basic unit of society—the family. Hollywood has waxed worse and worse over time. The Holy Bible has been removed and banned from all public schools since 1963, which was the fatal decision that drove the nails into our nation's coffin. The horrifying consequences have been devastating!
“Lord save us from off-handed, flabby-cheeked, brittle-boned, weak-kneed, thin-skinned, pliable, plastic, spineless, effeminate, ossified, three-karat Christianity.” —Evangelist Billy Sunday
I rip faces, mash on toes, and preach hard against sin, because that is my job as a Bible preacher.  Admittedly, I am as much a sinner as anyone else, and as far as I am concerned, the worse of sinners. God has blessed me with so much knowledge of the truth of the Bible, imperfect but Christian parents, a good Baptist church when I was a youth, and the privilege to attend the best Bible college in history (at the time) under the influence of Pastor Jack Hyles; I feel that God expects so much more from me than what I have given Him. I wish I knew how to do more, give more, be more, accomplish more, but I simply do not! I pray often in the misery of my health and personal afflictions, as the Bible teaches. James 5:13a, “Is any among you afflicted? let him pray...” Oh to God, that He would use me more each day for His glory, purpose and the cause of Jesus Christ. To God be the glory, great things He hath done, and is doing, through my humble labors. I am nothing, but Jesus is everything! “HEAR YE HIM” (Matthew 17:5b).

The Gift Of Forgiveness Through Christ's Blood is Offered Freely to Whosoever Wants it

Having said that about sin, and the awfulness of sin, and my uncompromisingly stand against all sin, may I say to you dear reader that there is an equal amount of forgiveness available through Calvary's cross for all your sins! Isaiah 1:18, “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” There is forgiveness available even for the vilest and worst of criminal offenders. There is forgiveness available for murderers, rapists, pedophiles and even greedy televangelists! God offers forgiveness even to the worst of sinners through faith in His only begotten Son!

Carefully read the following passage of Scripture and notice the precious message being conveyed. Some men would give their life as a sacrifice for a godly man. Some men might even give their life as a sacrifice for a good man. But who would sacrifice their life for a convicted criminal? The clear implication is NO ONE! But the Bible says that Jesus Christ did exactly that—He Who knew no sin gave His life as a ransom for ungodly sinners (you and me)...
Romans 5:6-8, “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Since Christ DIED FOR ALL, then it is only reasonable to conclude that THERE IS HOPE FOR ALL. There is no such thing as a “reprobate” sinner who is beyond the hope of the saving Gospel of free grace! Some men are reprobates, to be sure, but it is only by their own choice that they are a reprobate, and not by God's hand. For we read in 2nd Peter 3:9, “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” God the Father desires for EVERYONE to change their mind (repent) and believe the 'GOOD NEWS' (GOSPEL) of Jesus crucified to DEATH on the cross, BURIED and bodily RESURRECTED the third day, to receive the gift of forgiveness of sins which includes eternal life. You don't have to “ask” Jesus to save you, because He is asking you to accept Him by faith.

So we see that God Himself desires for ALL HUMANITY to repent—even the cross-dressing freaks, sodomite perverts, rugged men wearing girly nails and pink panties at age 60—God still wants these ungodly men (for whom Christ died) to come to repentance (change their mind) and be saved through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Forgiveness is freely available and freely offered, without discrimination, to all walks of humanity. God does not discriminate (Romans 2:11). God loves you so much dear reader, that He sent His only begotten (biological) Son to die on a cross to pay for YOUR SINS, and MY SINS, and EVERYONE'S SINS! Do you realize what God has done for you dear friend? Do you understand what Jesus suffered through for you, to pay your debt of sin on the cross, so that you could be freed and go to Heaven forever.

Jesus Paid Your Sin Debt, But You MUST Receive it By Faith To Have It

But you don't get that gift by default friend! Just because Christ died for all man doesn't mean that all men are saved. If you do nothing, you will burn in Hell forever when you die. You must RECEIVE Jesus Christ by placing your trust solely in His work on the cross, believing that He was buried, and miraculously raised up physically three days later, victorious over the grave. When Christ raised up, the faith of every believer who trusted in Him was 100% justified. Jesus raised up for our justification! The Lord died as our sacrificial Lamb of God on the cross (John 1:29), but He raised up and ascended into Heaven as every believer's intercessory heavenly High Priest (Romans 8:34; Hebrews 4:14-16). Praise the Lord!!!

All you have to do to be completely and permanently forgiven of your sins, no matter how awful they may be seen in your own sight, and that of society, is to BELIEVE THE GOSPEL!
Acts 26:18, “To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.”
Colossians 1:14, “In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.”
Ephesians 1:7, “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.”
Listen to what Pastor Dwight Moody said:
“The voice of sin is loud, but the voice of forgiveness is louder.” —Pastor Dwight L. Moody
Amen! Christians everywhere need to go into the prisons and let lonely criminals know that forgiveness is available to them, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 8:34, “Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.” I love that Bible verse! Who is he that condemneth? The clearly implied answer is: NO ONE! Once your sins have been forgiven in Christ, you are under God's GRACE, no longer under the condemnation of the Mosaic LAW. Romans 6:14-15, “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.” I love that—FOR YE ARE NOT UNDER THE LAW, BUT UNDER GRACE!!! When you place your faith in the 'GOOD NEWS' of what Jesus did to pay for your sins on the cross, you are no longer under the curse of God's LAW.

Here are some more helpful comments from mighty soulwinning preachers of times past:
“Those who say they will forgive but can't forget, simply bury the hatchet but leave the handle out for immediate use.” —Pastor Dwight L. Moody
“Sinners cannot find God for the same reason that criminals cannot find a policeman: They aren't looking!” —Evangelist Billy Sunday
“The reason you don't like the Bible, you old sinner, is because it knows all about you.” —Evangelist Billy Sunday
There is no sin so horrible—no crime so heinous, no sin so disgusting, no sin so offensive, no sin so publicly hated by the manure-spreading newsmedia, no sin so shocking, no sin so wrought with buckets of tears, no evil the human mind can imagine, no crime so bad that new laws were passed because of it, no mass-murderers in history, no kidnapper, no human trafficker, no perverse arsonist, no lying lawyer, no crooked judge, no divorcing spouse, no rotten cop, no embezzler, no serial killer, and no abortionist—there are none of these rotten people, who cannot be forgiven by God almighty—if they will SIMPLY ACKNOWLEDGE (IN THEIR SOUL) THEIR GUILTY SINFUL CONDITION IN THE SIGHT OF A HOLY GOD, AND BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST BY FAITH. SIMPLE BELIEVE THAT JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS IN YOUR PLACE. JESUS PAID THE PRICE FOR YOUR SINS WITH HIS PRECIOUS BLOOD!

But you MUST receive God's gift of forgiveness or you will die in your sins! Salvation is not automatic. Everyone is NOT a child of God. The heathen world oftentimes assumes that everyone goes to Heaven, but that is not Biblical. 2nd Timothy 2:13, “If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.” Clearly, not everyone believes on the name of Jesus Christ, which means they are not saved. The Lord abideth faithful, always willing to forgive and save anyone who receives it, but dear reader, you MUST receive it! I recently heard media mogul Oprah Winfrey pressure Bishop T.D. Jakes to agree with her that there is salvation apart from the name of Jesus for sincere people, but that is NOT Biblical. Oprah is hellbound in her sins without Jesus Christ, as is everyone who does not WHOLLY BELIEVE ON JESUS' NAME!

BELIEVE THE GOSPEL AND YOU ARE SAVED!

Psalm 119:105, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” America's churches influence the world, so if Satan can corrupt our churches here at home, then he can corrupt the world. The United States sends out more missionaries than any other nation. Sadly, there is MUCH heresy and false teaching circulating on the radio, television and in our churches nowadays concerning what a person must do to be saved.

What exactly is the Gospel? The word “Gospel” means “Good News” or “Glad Tidings.” There is no need to guess what the “Gospel” is because the Bible plainly tells us. The “Gospel” is the Good News of Christ's DEATH on the cross for our sins, His BURIAL and bodily RESURRECTION three days later:
1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”
We are saved by BELIEVING “the Gospel,” which is the power of God unto salvation. Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” John 6:28-29, “Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.” It is that simple to be saved. If you admit that you are a guilty sinner in God's sight, and you receive Christ's sacrifice on the cross as full payment for your sins, believing that He was buried, and bodily resurrected three days later, and that is your only hope for eternal life, then YOU ARE IMMEDIATELY, SECURELY AND FOREVER SAVED!!! This is the proper Gospel mindset. Anything else is not Bible salvation! There is Forgiveness Through Calvary's Cross. Hallelujah!!!
Micah 7:18, “Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.”
