Here's a dirty little detail that you probably didn't know about (and the Bible publishers won't dare tell you), and that is, in order to be copyrighted, the law requires for a new work to be substantially and creatively different (more than just editorial changes or minor changes) from existing Bible versions. In other words, being honest, scholarly and correct is secondary to making substantial changes in order to obtain a copyright, whether those translation changes are reasonable and necessary or not. Even in New Testament times, many people were tampering with the Bible. 2nd Corinthians 2:17, “For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.”
You need a copyright so that you can exclusively profit financially from your new Bible version, otherwise the public could use it freely and you wouldn't have any enforceable legal rights. Follow the money trail and you'll find the ugly truth! All these Bible-butchering groups are not sincere. The very fact that they are legally required to make major changes to copyright their new PERversion evidences that. These are snowflake Bible versions, that is, no two are the same!

How much do I have to change in my own work to make a new claim of copyright?
You may make a new claim in your work if the changes are substantial and creative, something more than just editorial changes or minor changes. This would qualify as a new derivative work. For instance, simply making spelling corrections throughout a work does not warrant a new registration, but adding an additional chapter would. And they must be “CREATIVE” unique changes. I'll show you some of their Satanic creativity in a moment. May I say, God's Word is not open game for anyone who wants to get creative and change it. Even worse, they're doing it for money.
How can any group which attempts to translate the Holy Bible, be honest and scholarly when they are forced to substantially change the work to creatively differ from existing Bible versions??? Since there are already literally hundreds of copyrighted English Bible versions (all of the Devil), any new Bible versions are going to have to be butchered substantially and uniquely to qualify. My friend, you should be outraged and alarmed as I am, if you love the Lord Jesus Christ. Literally, anybody who wants to publish a new Bible version, by law, is forced (if they want to publish their own exclusive version) to significantly CHANGE THE WORD OF GOD!!!!!!
Of the hundreds of English Bible's available today, most of the publishers claim theirs is a “LITERAL TRANSLATION.” Since the versions all differ considerably, and theologically conflict oftentimes, how can they all be a “LITERAL TRANSLATION”? Obviously they cannot! It's a bunch of shady marketing tactics. The truth (as I have just shown you) is that in order to receive a legal copyright, Bible translators and publishers are legally REQUIRED to butcher God's Word, making significant and substantial changes (as compared to existing Bible versions) to receive a copyright. That's the ugly truth!!!
What an evil and wicked thing to do, intentionally corrupting the Word of God to make a buck, which the Holy Bible calls “filthy lucre” (1st Peter 5:2). I hope you see how evil and criminal in God's eyes all of this Bible-tampering really is. Nothing is more important to God than His holy Word. Psalms 138:2, “I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.” Yet, men and women are so reckless and hardened in their hearts, that they flippantly corrupt the Word of God to sell their own exclusive copyrighted version. So this is why when you consult the 13 different Bible versions on your bookshelf, you get a wide array of ideas, contradictions and much CONFUSION. 1st Corinthians 14:33 tells us that God is “not the author of confusion.” The Devil is!!!
Legal Copyright Requirement Plus Greed Equals Bible Version Nightmare!
This is why I get so frustrated and upset with America's large religious institutions and Bible colleges. Frankly, I expect the big unsaved religious institutions to pull on the same rope as the Devil, like the National Council Of Churches, et cetera. However, when it comes to Bible colleges like Bob Jones University (BJU), who were the cream-of-the-crop 50 years ago, I get upset, because they are saved and should know better. I use the term “saved” loosely here, because the Satanic lie of Lordship Salvation has crept into (I'd say at least half) of our Baptist churches, which is a false plan of salvation. No one is saved who trusts in Lordship Salvation to get to Heaven, because it is partial faith in Christ plus human effort (Acts 15:1). Beware of wolves in sheep's clothing (Matthew 7:15).Bob Jones University (BJU) and Moody Bible Institute (MBI) combined, wield much influence upon evangelical churches in the United States, which extends to the world. I'm not picking on BJU. Quite the contrary, they ought to know better. I wouldn't waste my time writing this article if I didn't believe in my heart that there is hope for Christians. We all need Bible-preachers to show us where we're going astray, especially doctrinally. I hope many Christians reading this article will purpose in their heart to start exposing these new fraudulent Bible versions, because they are counterfeits, propagating false doctrines. Because of U.S. copyright laws, no one in our country can produce an accurate modern translation! What a sick joke that literally dozens of English Bible versions all claim to be another, “LITERAL TRANSLATION”!
I just prayed for God's Holy Spirit to use my humble labors to reach others with the truth. I cannot change anybody's life. Only God can do that! I desperately plead for God's Holy Spirit to work as I work, otherwise all is in vain and I'm wasting my time (Zechariah 4:6). John 15:5, “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” I don't want to work in my human strength without God's Spirit working in and through me, through prayer. I say this because all of the new Bible versions were put together on the basis of meeting a legal obligation to obtain copyright, and not on the basis of the guiding of the Holy Spirit of God. With this in mind, it speaks volumes of shame toward Moody Ministries and Bob Jones University for supporting the new Bible versions.
The legendary Pacific Garden Mission's “UNSHACKLED” broadcast from Chicago, sadly contains multiple plans of salvation (depending on the particular episode). I was shocked recently while listening on the radio to an Unshackled episode in which a man said you cannot simply believe the Gospel and write your name and date in the back of your Bible. He said you must continue to choose to follow Jesus every day of your life to be saved. That's the demonic heresy of Lordship Salvation, not the free gift of God (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9). Many Christian leaders are confusing salvation with discipleship, which has been caused by the new counterfeit Bible versions that PERvert Romans 10:9-10 and Mark 1:15 and Hebrews 6:1, to name a few Scriptures. The new PERverted Bibles are corrupting the churches!!!
For BJU to remain silent, and they're just one of hundreds of shameful Bible colleges (like Moody Bible Institute) who are silent, is cowardly and apostasy. If God's children don't expose Satan's tampering with the Holy Bible, then who will? That's right, no one! Don't you care? Greedy people are intentionally changing God's Word, whether they think it is honest, scholarly and necessary or not. Evil men and women are corrupting the Words of God, just so they can meet the government's legal requirement to substantially change their work's content to obtain a legal copyright. And they must be creative... SOMETHING NEW!!! This can't be happening. OH MY GOD IN HEAVEN, THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!!!!!!! Why aren't you mad-as-all-get-out!
