The Wood Frog Freezes Solid During Winter Months

Genesis 1:21, “And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”

Our omnipotent Creator is more than amazing! I just learned that Wood Frogs FREEZE SOLID during the winter months. Wow!

What does a hibernating wood frog look like? There is no muscle movement. No heartbeat. No breathing. For the entire winter, the wood frog is like a lump of hard, frigid, icy stone carved in the shape of a frog. But it’s alive, in a state of suspended animation.

In spring, the wood frog thaws from the inside outward. First the heart starts beating. Then the brain activates. Finally, the legs move.

That is mind blowing. God is so awesome!

Only a wicked fool would dare suggest that creation “just happened” without the genius of a divine supernatural Creator who is good, faithful, majestic and wondrous.

Psalms 19:1-3, “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.”
