Vain Repetitions

Matthew 6:7, “But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.”

Matthew 15:8-9, “This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.”

Catholicism's Vain Repetitions

Isn't it interesting that the word “vain” in Matthew 6:7 and 15:8 perfectly describe the deadly Roman Catholic religion. From the cradle to the casket, Roman Catholicism has a religious package for you! The Catholics love their vain repetitive prayers, rituals and chants—teaching for doctrines the TRADITIONS of men, vainly worshipping God.

The word “vain” means that Catholics are wasting their time, because God does not accept false worship. By the way, I couldn't help but noticed that the photo of the nun looks like a cute penguin...lol. I love this Sesame Street episode (Telly hits a penguin, and all the jury members are penguins...lol). Gotta love penguins!

Jesus plainly taught in John 4:24 that God can only be worshipped in spirit and in truth, and not in recited chants, idol worship or confessing one's sins to a priest who is saturated with sins himself. God does not accept empty worship. If you've ever been to a Catholic Church, then you know that they don't sincerely pray. All of their so-called “prayers” are robotically recited from memory, which they learned from a Catholic prayer book. It's all lip service.

Just as Cain, Catholics commit the same fatal sin of not obeying the Commandments of God. Instead of offering a blood sacrifice (symbolic of the Lamb of God, Jesus) as did Abel, Cain brought grains from his hard toil and labor. Cain attempted to impress God with his own self-righteousness; whereas Abel expressed his faith in the coming Messiah with a blood sacrifice. 

Kindly said, the counterfeit religions of Roman and Russian Orthodox Catholicism are rooted in self-righteousness. They think that by keeping their religious Sacraments that God will be pleased with them. No, no, no!!! It is a paved religious road to Hell. From the cradle to the casket Catholicism is of the Devil. Religion is NOT the way to Heaven. Jesus Christ is the way to Heaven (John 14:6). Religion is the worst thing that ever happened to this world.

The Catholic Church is NO church at all because they teach manmade doctrines. A perfect example is the Assumption of Mary doctrine, officially establish by the Vatican in 1950 by Pope Pius XII. There is no such biblical teaching, nor is it even found in the Catholic's magisterium (church traditions). You can't just make up your own rules. The Bible teaches in John 10:1-9 that you MUST enter through The Gate to get into Heaven. That Gate (or Door) is Jesus! Anyone who tries to get into Heaven some other way is “a thief and a robber.” You can't break into Heaven with a jack hammer, nor use a grappling hook to scale it's walls, nor dig under the wall; you MUST enter freely through the Gate by FAITH in Jesus' precious name. Amen!

I recently watched a Catholic program on EWTN (Eternal Word Television Network). The entire show was all about praising Mary. That is all Catholics talk about, Moher Mary. Sadly, religious stops a thinking mind! A standard Rosary recital requires 53 “Hail Marys.” That's vain repetitions, which the Bible strongly condemns. Matthew 15:9, “But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.”

As I watched EWTN, a few words were spoken and then they all started chanting like zombies. The priest would make a statement praising Mary and then dozens of Catholics in robes would follow with the chant, “We pray to thee.” It was like a cult ceremony, surely not resemblant of anything which Jesus taught in the inspired Scripture.

Here's what I heard on the Catholic EWTN . . .

Mary, Queen of Heaven...
we pray to thee
Mary, Queen of all saints...

we pray to thee
Mary, Queen of angels...

we pray to thee
Mary, Queen of the Rosary...

we pray to thee
Mary, Queen of the Church...

we pray to thee
and so on...it lasted for about 5 minutes

Please beware of false religion! Nearly everything about Roman Catholicism is contrary to the plain teachings of the inspired Word of God. Nowhere in Scripture are we directed in any way to praise, hail or show ANY devotion whatsoever to Mary (or any other dirty, rotten sinner like Mary). Yes, Mary was a sinner. She was not without “original sin” as Catholicism claims (what they call “Immaculate Conception”). The Bible declares in Romans 3:23a, “For all have sinned...”

The Catholic religion is so rebellious against the inspired Holy Bible that they even deceitfully teach Mary was a “perpetual virgin.” Mark 6:3 tells us that Jesus had brothers and sisters, so Mary was NOT a virgin after she married Joseph. Joseph was Mary's husband. In Matthew 1:20, the Angel of the Lord comforted Joseph concerning his “wife” to be, “...fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.” Mary did NOT remain a virgin! So please stop lying by calling her a “virgin.”

Roman Catholicism leads people to pray lifeless and empty vain repetitions!

The Bible speaks about making merry melody in our hearts to the Lord (Ephesians 5:19); not reciting the dead and morbid chants of the Catholic religion. If the dead could sing, I think it would sound like the Rosary being chanted by a bunch of nuns. Why don't we ever see Catholic men chanting the Rosary? BEWARE of false religion dear friend!!!

God wants us to pray and sing praise to Him from our heart. Roman Catholics are duped by the extravagance, formalism and mysticism of the Catholic religion. If the Pope is speaking in Latin, he must really know his stuff, right? Folks, it's all a big show to sucker you and your money into the Catholic cult. The Pope speaks in Latin to impress everybody, while no one has any clue what he's saying. The priests drink their wine from golden cups. Candles are placed into golden candlesticks. Gold, gold and more gold. The Vatican spares no expense. The Vatican is impeccably designed and decked out with wealth and beauty. Yet, they are as beautiful graves filled with dead men's bones just as Jesus said...

“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.” —Matthew 23:27

God Must Be Worshipped In Spirit And In Truth

God hates vain repetitions! God hates prayers that are dictated from a paper or a book. Prayer should be natural from the heart, not a recital from a dead prayer book. Do you think God would rather have us sincerely fellowship with Him as one of His living creatures, or try to impress Him with fancy words and religious formalism? Do you really think that chants move God? Do you really think that a bunch of repetitious words please God? It doesn't, not one bit. God hates false prayers, false worship and false religion.

Two things are REQUIRED to pray to God: spirit and truth. You cannot worship God in heresy and false religion. That is why Catholics will NEVER be able to worship the true and living God, because they teach manmade traditions instead of the Commandments of God. I've heard Catholic priests myself tell people not to read the Bible, claiming that only the priest knows the truth that parishioners don't. In sharp contrast, Jesus commands each believer in John 5:39 to 'SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES.'

One must be born-again to worship God, for God is a Spirit and our carnal flesh cannot commune with God (1st Corinthians 2:14-16). No amount of religion and self-righteousness can improve your sinful condition, nor save you from Hell. I get tired of hearing lying false Baptists tell lost sinners that to get to Heaven they must repent to “turn from their sins,” which is IMPOSSIBLE! Salvation cannot be obtained by education, legislation, reformation nor rehabilitation; but only by regeneration by the Holy Spirit of God almighty, through faith in the inspired Word of God, that is, THE GOSPEL (1st Peter 1:23; Romans 1:16).

No clergy man can forgive or absolve your sins! Only the God-man (Jesus) can forgive your sins (1st Timothy 2:5). The Pope is a dirty rotten sinner, just like you and me. No Catholic priest can forgive your sins! The Pope is tragically headed for hellfire in his false religion. The Pope is trusting the teachings of the Catholic Church to save him and not Christ alone.

We Are Saved by Jesus' Righteousness!

Listen friend, you cannot get to Heaven by getting water baptized. If it were so, then what about all the people in the Old Testament who were never baptized? What about the repentant thief on the cross? The Apostle Paul clearly said that Christ did NOT send him to baptize, but to preach the gospel (1st Corinthians 1:17). Baptism is a necessary step of obedience for the new convert, NOT a requirement for salvation. You MUST NOT add anything to simple faith in Christ alone. Good works is a sure road to Hell. Church membership is a sure road to Hell. Religion is a sure road to Hell. The Sacraments are a sure road to Hell. The Rosary is a sure road to Hell. Our Lady of Fatima is a sure road to Hell. ONLY JESUS SAVES!!!

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” —John 14:6

ONLY through the precious blood of Jesus Christ can your sins be washed away. ONLY by believing upon Jesus Christ can we be saved. Ye must be born-again (John 3:3. We are SINNERS and Jesus is the SAVIOR! Salvation is receiving, not giving. Eternal life is the gift of God (Romans 5:15; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9). Jesus is precious!

Let go of the Catholic religion friend and grab Jesus instead.

Salvation happens when a person acknowledges their guilt of sin for breaking God's commandments and believes on Jesus as the Christ, the Son of God, for forgiveness of sins.

Acts 10:43, “To Him give all the prophets witness, that through His name whosoever believeth in Him shall receive remission of sins.”

John 20:31, “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through His name.”

John 1:12, “But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.”

If you've never done so dear reader, won't you now receive Jesus as your personal Savior? We are saved by Jesus' righteousness (Matthew 6:33; 2nd Corinthians 5:21; Romans 10:3-4), and not our own in any way (Isaiah 64:6; Romans 3:20; Titus 3:5). Our part is simply to believe, God does the rest. Amen and amen.

Simply by faith take God at His Word as recorded in the inspired Scripture, receiving Christ's sacrifice on the cross as full payment for your sins, believing that He was buried, but then physically resurrected from the dead three days later. This is 'THE GOSPEL' by which all who BELIEVE IT are saved instantly, irrevocably and eternally (1st Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 1:16; Philippians 3:9). Praise God for the gift of His precious only begotten Son, Jesus!

There's No Excuse For Using The Devil's Bible Versions

2nd Corinthians 2:17, “For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.”

Did you know that even many unsaved people recognize something is very wrong with the modern English Bible translations? The tragedy is that most American pastors today are blind to this truth. Instead of crying aloud against sin and exposing evil, today's brutish pastors help promote it! Secular Professor Sees Danger Of Ever-Changing Bible Versions! Why can't many Baptist preachers discern the truth that Satan is behind the modern Bible perversions? It is truly pathetic!

I have very little admiration for any pastor who has been warned, but sinfully maintains an attitude of indifference toward the purity of God's Words. Psalms 119:140, “Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.” The psalmist said that he loved God's Word because IT IS VERY PURE, not just pure, but very pure! So why in the world would God expect us to love any Bible today that is full of errors and mistakes? I am sick and tired of hearing Bible preachers correct the King James Bible. The inspired Word of God doesn't need to be rewritten, it needs to be reread! I find no fault in the King James Bible!!!

There is no greater and more important responsibility in the world than being a pastor of a local New Testament church. It is a crying shame when church laymen with websites are more doctrinally correct than ordained pastors of churches! It is a crying shame when a church layman with a website cares more about the accuracy of the Gospel, and the purity of God's inspired Word, than most church pastors do! Truly, the LOVE OF MONEY is the root of all evil. 

We've got a bunch of college brats pastoring churches today, who are apathetic toward THE TRUTH. When you try to help them, being a true friend, they resent your help. Proverbs 17:4, “A wicked doer giveth heed to false lips; and a liar giveth ear to a naughty tongue.” Instead of taking heed to the truth, they arrogantly ground themselves further in their errant position (with their ungodly ecumenical peers in the clergy). There is NO EXCUSE for any pastor, church, evangelist or Bible college to use Satan's corrupt Bible versions.

May I kindly say, you DON'T have “a right” to use any Bible that you choose. God did not author 139 different Bible versions. Common sense should tell you that, but moreover, all of the modern Bible versions horribly attack the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ! You DON'T have “a right” to pick whatever Bible version you feel comfortable using. God's Words are not open to human censorship.

All of these new ungodly demonic Bible versions completely remove the word “sodomite”! God calls homosexuals “SODOMITES,” showing that they will suffer the same eternal damnation in Hell as did Sodom! Jude 1:7, “Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.” Sodom and four other surrounding cities were utterly destroyed by fire and brimstone rained down from Heaven! Homosexuality is a very wicked, filthy, horrible, disgusting, abnormal and abominable sin in God's eyes, which brings the judgment of God! Today's apostate churches are accepting the LGBTQ agenda because they are not filled with the Holy Spirit of God; they are merely playing church!

Devil's Counterfeit Bible Versions Attack the Deity Of The Lord Jesus Christ

By the way, the modern Bible PERversions completely remove Acts 8:37. Here is what the inspired King James Bible reads (I have underlined verse 37):

Acts 8:36-38, “And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.”

Please make sure you are sitting down! Now here is what the corrupt Easy-To-Read Version (ERV) reads:

EASY-TO-READ VERSION (ERV) - Acts 8:36-37, "While they were traveling down the road, they came to some water. The official said, “Look, here is water! What is stopping me from being baptized?” [MISSING!] Then the official ordered the chariot to stop. Both Philip and the official went down into the water, and Philip baptized him."

And here is the corrupt English Standard Version (ESV) that Bob Jones University (BJU) wickedly uses, promotes and sells in their Bruins bookstore. ...

ENGLISH STANDARD VERSION (ESV) - Acts 8:36-38, "And as they were going along the road they came to some water, and the eunuch said, “See, here is water! What prevents me from being baptized?” [MISSING!] And he commanded the chariot to stop, and they both went down into the water, Philip and the eunuch, and he baptized him."

Acts 8:37 is completely MISSING in the ESV!

Kindly, the Bob Jones camp are helping to strengthen the hand of the wicked, by promoting the Devil's fake Bible versions. Ezekiel 13:22, “Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life.” These modern corrupt Bibles are full of lies which deceive men's souls and strengthen the wicked.

And here is the popular corrupt New International Version (NIV) used in most churches today...

NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION (NIV) - Acts 8:37-39, “As they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, 'Look, here is water. What can stand in the way of my being baptized?' [MISSING!] And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him.”

Again, verse 37 is completely MISSING! Isn't that horrible? Here's what they removed...

Acts 8:37, “And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”

Why? Clearly, this is a demonic assault on the deity of Jesus! These corrupted Bible versions completely remove believing on the Son of God, teaching that the Ethiopian eunuch got saved by just being baptized in water. IT IS WICKEDNESS!!! Are you okay with that? Am I such a horrible person for making an issue about this evil? I think not. We'll see what God thinks at the Judgment Seat of Christ (2nd Corinthians 5:10-11; Romans 14:10-12; Galatians 6:7).

2nd Corinthians 11:6, “But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things.” I may come across as a troublemaker to some people, but I am not ignorant of Satan's devices! Ahab thought the prophet Elijah was a troublemaker too, but Elijah said it was wicked Ahab who was causing trouble in Israel (1st Kings 18:17-18). It is wicked neo-evangelical pastors and churches, and corrupt Bible colleges today ,who are causing TROUBLE by refusing to earnestly contend for the Christian faith as the Bible commands in Jude 1:3, Ephesians 5:11 and Titus 1:9-14.

Indifference is a horrible sin! We should all care. Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) cared, which is why I love him so much as my hero of the Christian faith. ...

I'm making an issue too! We are engaged today in “THE BATTLE OF THE AGES” (preached by Brother Hyles in 1994). Sadly, most Bible colleges and churches nowadays sinfully take tampering with the inspired Word of God lightly. Is it nothing to you Oh Christian? Use the brain that God gave you! Matthew 5:8, “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” Always be pure of heart! Those who are pure of heart will always eventually end up at Jesus' feet and the King James Bible, that is, THE TRUTH!

A Solider Is Only As Effective As His Weapon

Can you imagine if our U.S. troops went to war against the Chinese, and all our guys had to fight with were BB guns? No way, I'd want a Thompson Machine Gun! The inspired Holy Scripture calls the preacher who contends for the faith “a soldier.” Notice that the Bible doesn't say to “BE STRONG”; but rather, it says to “BE STRONG IN THE GRACE THAT IS IN CHRIST JESUS.” We don't grow in strength as believers, we grow in grace. The Bible-believing preacher has been chosen by God to be a soldier. ...

2nd Timothy 2:1-7, “Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits. Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.”

How many ministers today view them self as being a soldier for Jesus Christ? I tell you, not many! Most pastors, Bible professors and evangelists these days are fraternizing with the enemy. The world is our enemy (1st John 2:15-17). The Devil is our enemy (1st Peter 5:8). The flesh is our enemy (1st Peter 2:11). To be effective, a soldier needs to have a superb weapon! That weapon is the inspired Word of God. Hebrews 4:12, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

Thank God for giving us such a powerful weapon! If I were the Devil, I would sabotage the weaponry! I feel sorry for ecumenical neo-evangelical pastors today who have traded in their well-oiled Thompson Machine Gun (i.e., the inspired King James Bible), for a dilapidated rusted Red Ryder BB gun (i.e., the modern versions). Today's pastors and churches have lost their authority, because they are no longer using the powerful weapon of the King James Bible!

Running Short On Authority

The Christian soldier is most dangerous to Satan when he is on his knees praying! Remember, God answers KNEE-MAIL! Ephesians 6:12-18 lists seven spiritual weapons of warfare for the Christian; namely: truth, Gospel, salvation, prayer, Word of God, righteousness and faith. ALL SEVEN WEAPONS of the believer are stripped away by using the Devil's counterfeit Bible versions, because corruptible words cannot produce the require new birth (1st Peter 1:23). A corrupt tree can only produce corrupt fruit!

Most Christians do not use these weapons and are ineffective for God. Using the modern Bible versions deprives a believer of the Sword of the Spirit! The modern versions change THE TRUTH of God into a lie (Romans 1:25). The modern versions corrupt the truth, and in so doing corrupt the Gospel and hinder men from being saved by faith (2nd Corinthians 4:3-4). Without regeneration there can be no righteousness! Without regeneration there can be no reformation!

U.S. Government Has Utterly Failed The American People

Isaiah 9:16, “For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.”

I am really trying to give President Trump my sincere support, but he is making it hard. I was sickened today to learn that Mr. Trump has just given $20,000,000,000 of our taxpayer money (during our government being shut down) to help Argentina's failing economy, while millions of Americans are hurting in poverty. Tens of thousands of government employees are out of work right now, standing in soup lines for a handout. Homelessness is now a national crisis!

$20 Billion for Argentina, But No Food for Our Seniors?!

I and my wife went to Walmart yesterday and were shocked to see a 3-pack of ribeye now costs $64. No, we didn't buy it, and we won't! If this keeps going on, we're going to see dark things we've never seen before in the United States. We're not leaving the house unless we have to! 42,000,000 people without their S.N.A.P. benefits just may SNAP!

The price of gold today is a staggering $4,112.31 per ounce. Yikes! Gold doesn't soar that high unless something is very wrong in our economy.

This is just plain WRONG what President Trump is doing. He seems to be helping everybody except the American people. Our bridges and roads are falling apart. Nearly half of Americans cannot afford to have their rotting teeth fixed. The federal minimum wages is still $7.25 an insulting hour, which is evil. This does not make sense! This meme is such wacky religious bullcrap! When families go out 'Trick-or-treating,' they're just having innocent fun, regardless of what paranoid religious retards say. Although it is true that the origins of Halloween are unquestionably Satanic (just like half of everything else in society), people do not celebrate the holiday as such in the United States. I know some people will strongly disagree with me on this topic, but it wouldn't be the first time I am sure. I loved Trick-or-treating as a kid, and I didn't throw tomatoes at anyone's house who didn't answer the door (i.e., there was no mean trick returned if I didn't get a treat).

Neither do Americans worship Babylonian decorated trees at Christmas time (Jeremiah 10:1). It's just a tree, unless you bow down to worship it, which I don't recommend.

Nor do Americans worship Ēostre, the fertility goddess on Easter. It's just fun for the children; coloring and hunting for Easter Eggs.

I am sick and tired of legalists badgering and demonizing everyone for partaking of our traditional American culture during the holidays. In fact, no one is inviting demons into their home by carving pumpkins, coloring Easter eggs or decorating a Christmas tree. So, unless you are a pagan who has a problem with worshipping idols, I say go ahead and enjoy the holidays!

My religious nutcase boss many years ago, freaked out over these crazy things, while strutting around listening to his so-called “Christian rock music,” which is far more spiritually harmful than having fun on Halloween! He told me one day at work that if his church ever gives out pumpkins for Halloween to draw kids to church, he'd quit immediately. What a religious hypocrite! If a local church can give away pumpkins to kids, to encourage them to come learn about Jesus, then I see no harm in that. I am all for using church promotions.

That being said, I think Christian people need to be informed about the dark origin of certain American holidays, but as long as we don't celebrate them in their original sinful design, it's not a sin. As an illustration, I take prescription pain drugs for relentless chronic neck pain, which are potentially lethal if misused. But I have always taken the drugs responsibly, as directed by my doctor. Sadly, many people in the United States are abusive with substances (primarily drugs and alcohol), which is why suffering patients like me cannot obtain an adequate amount of pain medications. It's not fair, but there's nothing I can do about it, except complain. I digress.

I humbly think it's perfectly okay for families to have fun with Santa Claus, just so long as you don't mislead children to think he is real. Kids need to know the truth that Jesus is real, but Santa is not. It is disturbing how upset religious people become over these trifle matters, while neer sharing the Gospel with a single soul. How about paying your bills on time? How about keeping your word? How about returning something that you borrowed but never returned?
I feel sorry for people who've been so brainwashed by religion, that they think it is evil to display pumpkins on Halloween. I love pumpkins, and pumpkin pie! Amen! To eat his own, these are my thoughts.

Churches everywhere are letting the Gospel (the truth) slip away. Today's corrupt Bible colleges like Pensacola Christian College and Bob Jones University are primarily to blame, for sending out theologically incompetent graduates to ruin the churches. They're letting the inspired Word of God slip away, and instead adopting corrupt perversions of God's Word. The consequential results have been devastating.

The free grace Gospel has few friends today. Satan is so clever and subtle that he has billions of heathen hellbound churchgoers convinced that faith must include and/or produce works to be valid. Satan is a beautiful liar! God's curse is upon evil institutions like Pensacola Christian College and their ungodly FOUR DIFFERENT PLANS OF SALAVTION! These people are as unloving and hateful toward outsiders as they are theologically incompetent. As Morgan Freeman says in the 2014 blockbuster movie, 'Transcendence'... “RUN FROM THIS PLACE!”

There are far worse things for us to be concerned about nowadays than people just having fun on the holidays. To each his own. Granted, I wouldn't allow my child to dress up like a witch or a demon, but there are plenty of fun costumes that they can innocently wear. If you don't believe in celebrating certain holidays, then good for you, don't do it. But I don't think anyone should condemn others who do. Some of the biggest religious nutcases I've ever met, made a big fuss over celebrating the traditional holidays of our American culture.

I humbly see no harm in it as a Christian. I understand that this is a highly controversial topic, but I just think we need to make a clear distinction between those who truly do worship Satan on Hallowed Ween, versus American families with small children who just love a big giant bag full of candy the morning after, like I did as a kid each year. To each their own.

Our Time On Earth Is Almost Over

James 4:14, “Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.”

1st Corinthians 7:29-31, “But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none; And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not; And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away.”

I enjoy watching astronomy documentaries, learning about the grand scale of God's magnificent creation. Sometimes I cry, when I am overwhelmed with the truth that God, who created trillions upon trillions of galaxies, could even love a clump of clay like me. Psalms 144:3, “LORD, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account of him!” What an awesome God!

It's been cleverly said that life is short, Hell is hot and eternity is a long time. Never truer words were spoken! In comparison to the billions of years that our universe has existed, what is man's threescore and ten years on earth? Just to be clear, I am not an evolutionist. I do not agree with Theistic Evolution (i.e., the idea that God created the universe and then it evolved). I reject those type of claims. That being said, I think it is scientifically and biblically accurate that our earth is very old indeed. Psalms 102:25, “Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.”

Let me be clearer still. I reject the absurd idea of Young Earth Creationism (YEC). One big reason why I reject such nonsense is because if it is true, it would mean dinosaurs roamed the earth with humans 5,000 years ago; and if you know anything about science, that is preposterous! Scientists tell us that dinosaurs lived from 60 to 220 million years ago. I accept that fact. Neither do I reject the literal 6-days of creation in Genesis chapters 1 and 2. In this 6-day time frame, God REMODELED His creation which was made in Genesis 1:1. There is MUCH more evidence in support of an old earth, than a young earth.

Dear Christian reader, I encourage you to continue “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith” (Hebrews 12:2a). Our time on earth remaining is short. Remember, we are Pilgrims just passing through, not Settlers!

When President Trump leaves office and a Democrat eventually returns to power, I sadly expect to see this country descend into the abyss of darkness like never before. God-fearing saints are still sickened and numb over the plethora of wickedness that President Joe Biden unleashed upon our nation (from open borders to ungodly D.E.I. movement). But dear reader, read what the Bible says in Job 20:5, “That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?” We are already on THE WINNING SIDE through faith in Jesus Christ! Romans 8:37, “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”

I don't know about you dear friend, but I just can't feel at home in this world anymore. I want to go home to be with Jesus! Read the beautiful inspired words which the Apostle Paul wrote...

Philippians 1:21-27a, “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not. For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you. And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith; That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again. Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ...”

As God's redeemed children, we should always season our words with grace, redeeming the time by sharing the Gospel with others. I don't know how much time I have remaining on earth, but by God's grace I have committed the rest of my earthly life to preaching the truth of the Gospel, contending for the faith and helping to feed Jesus' sheep. Psalms 90:12, “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”

What Is Nothing? Exploring The Void Of Space.

The video's narrator opens by making an astounding comparison between our solar system's sun, which is as the size of a single grain of sand on a large beach when compared to the entire universe. So far, hard-working astronomers have estimated that there are at least 20 TRILLION galaxies in the known universe, and each galaxy contains hundreds of billions of stars (suns just like our own in the Milky Way galaxy, and even 1,700 times larger). These are just stars they've discovered thus far! And to think, God has a specific name for each and every star. Psalms 147:4, “He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.” I am speechless!

Dear reader, we serve an omnipotent Creator. Thankfully He is a good God, who pardons iniquities (sins) or else we'd all hopelessly burn in Hell forever! Micah 7:18, “Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.” Oh needy sinner, I don't care what evil thing you may have done, God delighteth in mercy. The Lutheran minister cannot forgive your sins. The Catholic priest cannot absolve your sins. Mark 2:7, “Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?” Oh, but Jesus who has the nail-scared hands and feet, CAN forgive men's sins!!!

There are FOUR philosophical questions that science cannot answer, and never will be able to give a plausible answer:

1. When did the universe begin?
2. When will the universe end?
3. How big is the universe?
4. How small is the universe?

These are impossible questions. No matter how far you go to their extremes, you can still go farther. It is IMPOSSIBLE for the universe to have an end. If it did, what lies beyond that end? There cannot be nothing. The universe simply cannot be unlimited in size. The only logical answer is God.

It is IMPOSSIBLE that time just began at some point. If so, then what existed before time? Likewise, how can the future end? It cannot go on forever without end! It would makes no sense that the future will never end.

And as scientists develop more powerful atomic microscopes, they are peering closer and closer into the molecules and atoms which comprise the universe. Yet, there is always more to see! Can there be an end to how small our universe is? I think not. These are perplexing philosophical questions, which only ungodly arrogant men like Steven Hawking (1942-2018) attempt to answer without including God.

I heard Dr. Hawking say that the universe came from nothing. That only makes plausible sense if you believe in God, which he sadly didn't. The Laws of Thermodynamics state that neither matter nor energy can be destroyed, they can only be converted to different forms. Yet, it is IMPOSSIBLE for matter and energy to have always existed. So where did they come from? 

Stephen Hawking was a lying hypocrite to make such arrogant bold statements, while wickedly denying the existence of an omnipotent divine Creator. The fact that God created and maintains the universe makes perfect sense! We are the Lord's handiwork. God spoke the universe into existence by the Word of His mouth (2nd Peter 3:5), but He lovingly formed man from the dust with His magnificent Potter's hands. Only mankind was made with God's hands.

Our time here on earth is winding down dear friend. People die unexpectedly every day all around the world. If you ever visit a cemetery, I encourage you to walk around and look at the gravestone markings for the year people were born and died. You'll be surprised as I was to see the vast array of ages that people died. I visited a small cemetery in 2013 in Hilo, Hawaii. I like to visit cemeteries as a Baptist preacher, which reminds me of how short life is, and the dire need to preach the Gospel of free grace to as many people as possible while we still can.

Folks, the Bible is abundantly clear that there is only ONE GOSPEL (Galatians 1:6-9). 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 defines that Gospel of Christ's death on the cross for our sins, His burial, and miraculous bodily resurrection three days later for our justification (i.e., our faith in Him is not in vain). What an awesome God and Savior!!!

I don't care how rotten in character, sinful in behavior or contemptible in reputation you may be dear friend, if you're RESTING solely in Christ's death on the cross for your sins, His burial and physical resurrection as your only hope for Heaven, you are 100% WASHED of your sins and legally DECLARED RIGHTEOUS in God's sight (Hebrews 4:10-11; 1st Corinthians 6:9-11; Romans 5:6-9).

Every believer falls IN GRACE, but never FROM GRACE (Romans 5:20; 6:1). The only ones who fall FROM GRACE are those self-righteous heretics like Marty Herron, Steve Pettit, Paul Washer, Sam Horn, Charles Phelps, John MacArthur, John Piper, Adrian Rodgers, Ray Comfort, Jeff Redlin and other infidels who ADD works to faith (Galatians 5:4). Dear friend, you don't have to repent of your sins to get to Heaven, you need to have your sins completely taken away. Thankfully, God sent His only begotten Son into the world 2,000 years ago to die in our place on a cross, to pay down our massive debt of sin which we could not pay. Christ was taken down from the cross and prepared for burial according to Jewish custom by Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea. He was placed into a grave tomb. Three days later Jesus raised up triumphant over death. JESUS PAID IT ALL! 

Salvation is not a reward for the righteous, it is a gift for the guilty.

Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith.

Turning away from sinful ways would be a work. Faith puts all of the merit where it belongs, on the object of our faith, Jesus and His work.

If to “repent” means to forsake our sinful ways TO BE SAVED, but Jesus already paid for our sins by dying on the cross, then what are we repenting from?

The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU.

Getting saved is not a matter of YOU being willing to forsake a sinful lifestyle. No, Christ died on a cross 2,000 years ago to pay for everyone's sins with His precious blood (1st Peter 1:18-19). Salvation is strictly a matter of what CHRIST DID FOR YOU dear friend, and not about what you can do for Him. Salvation is of the LORD (Jonah 2:9).

Whatever changes in thinking and behavior God desires to see happen in your life AFTER you get saved is solely His department. Living a changed life is strictly a matter of Christian service and discipleship, and not of salvation and sonship. Simply put, a man does not become better to be saved, he gets saved to become better. The Holy Spirit doesn't need our help, we need His as redeemed children of God. Eternal life is a free gift (Romans 5:15-18).

The New York Republican was sentenced in April after admitting last year to deceiving donors and stealing the identities of 11 people — including his own family members — to make donations to his campaign.

He reported to FCI Fairton on July 25 and was housed in a minimum security prison camp with fewer than 50 other inmates.

“George Santos was somewhat of a ‘rogue,’ but there are many rogues throughout our Country that aren’t forced to serve seven years in prison,” Trump posted on his social media platform. He said he had “just signed a Commutation, releasing George Santos from prison, IMMEDIATELY.”

“Good luck George, have a great life!” Trump said.

That is sickening injustice! If that were ordinary folks like you or me, we'd be damned to serve out our entire prison sentence without mercy. Why should some scumbag corrupt politician, who openly betrayed his oath of office and the trust of the American people, be set free for his crimes? It just shows how unfair, unjust and reckless President Trump is being with the power that the American people entrusted to him at the last election. SHAME on our U.S. President!

If you've been following the news, then you know that Donald Trump is ruthlessly going after his enemies with the justice system (just as the Democrats wickedly did the same thing to him). John Bolton is being formally indicted over paper work documents. It was President Trump who pushed to have Mr. Bolton prosecuted. Trump has his pet Attorney General Pam Bondi on a leash. He has his own personal prosecutor it seems. The American people are sick and tired of seeing our U.S. justice system being weaponized by politicians against each other.

This just sends a clear message to other scumbag politicians that it is okay to steal, mislead, lie and cheat others. Whether it be the brutal murder of the innocent people in Gaza, or releasing an admitted evil lying piece of trash like George Santos, we have a corrupt U.S. President. Mr. Trump is vindictive to those not loyal to him, and handsomely rewards his allies. This is too eerily resemblant of Nazi Germany and Hitler in World War II. I am not saying that Trump is Hitler, but he is behaving like a reckless dictator when he sets criminals free.

I was also disgusted when Trump set scumbag former Illinois governor Rob Blagojevich free in 2020 (cutting 6 years off his 14-year prison sentence). Why should entrusted leaders be given such immoral breaks that the average American never receives? It is wicked INJUSTICE and CORRUPTION of the legal system!!!

Former National Security Advisor John Bolton (Trump's enemy) is now being indicted for 18 felony counts! If I were the judge, in lieu of Trump setting George Santos free, I'd allow Mr. Bolton to go free to be fair. I mean, 'com on, you cannot free one criminal while locking up another, not if there is TRUE JUSTICE! Or in the Trump Administration is it, “JUST US”? This whole thing may come back to haunt Mr. Trump. Every attorney and Democrat judge across the country will be using Trump's release of Santos as a precedent to commit more injustice!

Isaiah 1:4-6, “Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.  Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.”

The Bible has much to say about a corrupt legal system. Proverbs 17:23, “A wicked man taketh a gift out of the bosom to pervert the ways of judgment.” It is my humble opinion that there's more to the story than what we're being told. I was sickened when one of the reasons President Trump cited for releasing George Santos (an admitted and convicted felon) from prison is that George always faithfully voted Republican. You could make this stuff up! SHAME Mr. President. SHAME!!!

By unjustly giving clemency to George Santos, President Trump has made a mockery of our justice system, again. Trump wasted millions of dollars of taxpayer dollars, squandered thousands of hours of everyone involved to bring Santos to justice and Trump effectively pissed on the jury who painstakingly took the time to deliberate the case. And finally, Trump effectively spit upon the presiding judge! What's the use of having laws and a court system, if leaders like Donald Trump disregard them?

Santos' attorney Andrew Mancilla pathetically said:

“He is a 36-year-old gay man with no criminal record who came from a broken family,” Mancilla said. “He built this ego of a man he wanted to be, not who he was.” SOURCE

What is his scumbag lawyer's point, that we should feel sympathy for a homosexual criminal who had a less than perfect home? Such extenuating circumstances are never considered for poor people.

I love President Trump for turning our country around. I am so thankful that he finally rid the government of the Diversity, Equality and Inclusivity (DEI) wicked insanity. I am thankful that President Trump is building up our military, which is critically important to maintain peace. I am thankful that he supports and cares for our U.S. Veterans. I love that Trump gave 4-years of deserved back pay to all the soldiers who were wrongfully fired for refusing to take the potentially lethal COVID-19 vaccination in 2020. God bless President Trump!!!

Ecclesiastes 5:8, “If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they.” I love that Bible passage. Kindly said, what President Trump did by pardoning Santos is not shewing mercy, it is tyranny. What's the use of having laws if we selectively pardon lawbreakers?

President Trump cited as an excuse for pardoning Santos, that everyone else is doing the same things, but I don't think everyone is stealing other people's identities to commit fraud for financial gain, as Congressman Santos criminally did. There must be rule of law. Our U.S. court system is so unfair. While dangerous murderers are set free, a harmless mother in Kansas was sentenced to life in prison for minor drug possession. There is no justice!!!

And mark my words, convicted sex offender Ghislaine Maxwell will be pardoned by President Trump before he leaves office in 2029, if not much sooner. Miss Maxwell covered for Donald Trump recently regarding what really happened at Jeffrey Epstein's “Orgy Island” and he will unquestionably repay her loyalty. That is my humble opinion. She has already been relocated from a maximum security prison in Florida, to a minimum security prison in Texas. She's already got one foot out the prison door! We live in one of the most corrupt societies in history!

Beware Of False Prophet, Pastor Colin Smith

2nd Peter 2:1-3, “But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.”

The inspired Holy Bible warns the reader that FALSE PROPHETS will come, privily (i.e., surreptitiously; painstakingly avoiding detection) bringing damnable heresies into local churches. Pastor Colin Smith is one such FALSE PROPHET! I learned about him while listening to 'UNSHACKLED' by Pacific Garden Mission, which today is a corrupt 501c3 organization laden with the evils of Lordship Salvation. Former mission Director Harry Saulnier (1902-1990) is absolutely disgusted in Heaven!!!

In a disturbing sermon preached on February 25, 2025, titled “Repentance, Part 2,” Pastor Smith clearly preaches the Satanic deception of LORDSHIP SALVATION (I made this audio clip using THREE excerpts from Smith's sermon). Smith uses Isaiah 1:16-20 as his text passage, perverting the context of Scripture...

Isaiah 1:16-20, “Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.”

Dear reader, you must understand that God is NOT giving His people a plan of salvation here. The way you get saved is found in Isaiah 45:22, “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.” Pastor Curtis Hutson (1934-1995) understood this great biblical truth...

WHAT A GREAT TRUTH!!!

In his corrupt sermon “Repentance, Part 2” Smith correctly teaches that it is impossible for the listener to live a life that is pleasing to God, which he says is why Christ died on a cross for our sins. He correctly preaches the truth that “nothing can wash away my sins but the blood of Jesus.” But then Smith goes horribly astray when he mixes works with grace, plainly burdening the sinful audience to wash themselves from their own sins.

Yet, Pastor Smith is very confusing, which obscures and hides the true free grace Gospel from lost sinners (2nd Corinthians 4:3-4). He's clearly mixing works with grace, confusing service with salvation, preaching the lie of Lordship Salvation. Smith rightly says that our worship, serving and praying (works) to God cannot cleanse us of our sins. The he quotes Isaiah 1:18, “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” Pastor Smith goes horribly astray when he adds verses 16 and 17 (works) from Isaiah chapter 1 to God's simple plan of salvation.

At the beginning of his sermon, about one minute into his speech, Pastor Smith says that the difference between a mere mask (or veneer) of religion versus authentic Christian faith is a changed life (which is essentially works). Throughout the sermon he errantly teaches that to be saved you must pursue Isaiah 1:16 and 17 as a prerequisite condition to verse 18. Clearly, Pastor Smith is preaching a works based plan of salvation that requires human effort in addition to faith. The most effective deception is the HALF TRUTH, because in part (the truthful part) it can be contested with irrefutable logic.

The entire wrong premise of Pastor Smith's sermon is that Christ will change your life if you trust in Him, but if your life hasn't changed yet you merely have religion and didn't really get saved. That is pure demonic Calvinism! Smith bases proof of one's salvation upon a changed life. Kindly said, his whole worldview is corrupt.

The followers of Christ in Matthew 7:21-23 did “many wonderful works,” and yet Jesus denied knowing them as His sheep. Clearly, a changed life cannot be used as proof of the new birth! I have known some admirable Roman Catholics who strove diligently to live upright moral lives, lead their families for God, love their neighbours and do what is right. Sadly, they have been deceived by Satan to trust in a false religion, instead of resting solely in the finished redemptive work of the only begotten Son of God., the Christ.

At no point in his sermon does Pastor Smith mention the truth of the Gospel. He never mentions Jesus' death on a cross, burial or bodily resurrection from the dead. Smith does vaguely mention the sacrifice of Christ's body, Jesus as the “Savior,” and that salvation comes through nothing else but the blood of Jesus. Unfortunately, the entire sermon woefully fails to show sinners the simple way of salvation. By foolishly using Isaiah 1:16-20 as a plan of salvation, which is about avoiding national judgment and not about getting to Heaven, he confuses and obscures the truth of God's inspired Word.

I think Pilgrim's Progress author John Bunyan (1628-1688) said it best...

“If you do not put a difference between justification wrought by the man Christ without and sanctification wrought by the Spirit of Christ within, you are not able to divide the Word aright; but contrariwise, you corrupt the Word of God, and cast stumbling blocks before the people.” [emphasis added] —Evangelist John Bunyan

Colin Smith is corrupting the inspired Word of God, casting stumbling blocks before the people, because he woefully fails to put a difference between service versus salvation. Not once in his sermon on repentance does Pastor Colin teach that salvation is by faith alone. We can only evaluate the man's doctrine (fruit) by his statements, many of which are unbiblical.

At the end of his sermon, Pastor Smith horribly misleads the audience to do this...

If you are willing and obedient; if you are willing to receive what I offer; if you are ready to pursue what I command; if you will embrace me, Jesus says, as your gracious Savior AND submit to me as your sovereign Lord, then you (the people who have been laden with iniquity and beaten and bruised) will eat the good of the land.

Dear reader, this passage in Isaiah is NOT a plan of salvation. God specifically authored the Gospel of John to show humanity the way of salvation, which is to simply BELIEVE ON THE NAME OF JESUS (John 1:12-13). We are saved by BELIEVING THE GOSPEL (GOOD NEWS) OF JESUS CHRIST CRUCIFIED, BURIED AND RISEN (John 20:31). Any admitted sinner who receives Christ's sacrifice on the cross as FULL PAYMENT for their sins—embracing THE TRUTH of Jesus' death on the cross, burial and physical resurrection from the dead three days later—instantly, irrevocably and permanently saved.

The inspired Scripture plainly defines “the gospel” for us, so that there is no need for debate...

1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”

The Apostle Paul said in Galatians 1:12 that Jesus directly gave him the Gospel. We read in 1st Thessalonians 4:14, “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.” Here is the simplicity that is in Christ, the Gospel. Jesus died on a cross to pay our debt of sin. He was buried. Three days later Jesus physically resurrected from the dead. These three elements comprise THE GOSPEL. All of the non-essential things that Colin Smith mentioned are NOT a part of the Gospel.

Nowhere does the inspired Word of God require lost sinners to SUBMIT to Jesus as one's sovereign “Lord” to be saved. This is the deadly hoax of Lordship Salvation, requiring discipleship and service to get to Heaven. When Smith uses disturbing phrases like “if you are willing and obedient” and “if you are ready to pursue what I command” and “submit to me as your sovereign Lord,” he is preaching another gospel (2nd Corinthians 11:3-4).

I love what Pastor Harry Ironside (1876-1951) accurately said...

“The Gospel is not a call to repentance, or to amendment of our ways, to make restitution for past sins, or to promise to do better in the future. These things are proper in their place, but they do not constitute the Gospel; for the Gospel is not good advice to be obeyed, it is good news to be believed. Do not make the mistake then of thinking that the Gospel is a call to duty or a call to reformation, a call to better your condition, to behave yourself in a more perfect way than you have been doing in the past …

Nor is the Gospel a demand that you give up the world, that you give up your sins, that you break off bad habits, and try to cultivate good ones. You may do all these things, and yet never believe the Gospel and consequently never be saved at all.”

And I also love what Pastor M.R. DeHaan (1891-1965) accurately wrote...

"There is a vast difference between coming to Jesus for salvation and coming after Jesus for service. Coming to Christ makes one a believer, while coming after Christ makes one a disciple. All believers are not disciples. To become a believer one accepts the invitation of the Gospel, to be a disciple one obeys the challenge to a life of dedicated service and separation. Salvation comes through the sacrifice of Christ; discipleship comes only by sacrifice of self and surrender to His call for devoted service. Salvation is free, but discipleship involves paying the price of a separated walk. Salvation can't be lost because it depends upon God's faithfulness, but discipleship can be lost because it depends upon our faithfulness." —Pastor M.R. DeHaan, “Hebrews”; Zondervan Publishing House; 1959 (p. 117)

Pastor Smith utterly fails to separate service from salvation; discipleship from sonship; sanctification from justification. Unfortunately, in so doing Smith misleads and damns the audience, by obscuring and hiding the light of the truth of a free grace Gospel from them (2nd Corinthians 4:3-4). A FALSE GOSPEL cannot produce the required new birth to enter into God's Kingdom (John 3:1-7). “YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN” (John 3:3b).

Dear reader, I cannot warn you enough to steer clear of Pacific Garden Mission's toxic 'UNSHACKLED' radio program. After former mission Director Harry Saulnier went to Heaven in 1990, young neo-evangelical yuppies began to take over the rescue mission, who have today turned it into a money-making pseudo-Christian ministry of deadly Lordship Salvation, promoting theological liars; namely, John MacArthur, Colin Smith, Adrian Rogers, Charles Stanley, Dave and Ann Wilson, James Dobson, Robert Jeffress, David Jeremiah and other infidels (to name but a few). Whatever a pastor stops preaching against, his church will fill up with in five years!

Pacific Garden Mission, like ALL neo-evangelicals, refuse to contend for the faith (Jude 1:3), which is how they became neo-evangelicals in the first place. Christian Fundamentalists don't change, people quit being Fundamentalists! A Christian “fundamentalist” is simply someone who is doctrinally correct on the inspired Holy Bible; and they only use the true Bible, which is clearly the inspired King James Bible. ALL of the modern 'Westcott and Hort' based Bible revisions, including the Jehovah's Witness' New World Translation (NWT), ruthlessly attack Jesus' deity and the Godhead (i.e., Trinity). For example: In Matthew 8:2 the King James Bible says a leper came to “worship” Jesus, but nearly all of the modern versions change it to “knelt” or “bowed.” You can knee before a king without worshipping him.

Please read “The Crystal Clear Gospel Of Jesus Christ” by Army chaplain David Rutkin. I also wrote my own blog to proclaim the monumental truth of a free grace Gospel, which is being brutally and relentlessly attacked by the Devil today. Satan fully knows that if he can subtly influence preachers to add, embellish, change and pollute the true Gospel with manmade traditions, then he has successfully obscured the Gospel, rendering it useless.

Here is the gospel: God says that we are sinners and that no amount of good works or behavioral changes on our part could ever make us holy enough to enter heaven. God sent His Son to pay for all of our sins. Jesus paid for our crimes by dying on the cross for us all. His dead body was buried in a grave. On the third day, Jesus arose from the dead. 

The instant you believe this, He knows it and He saves you. “Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on Me hath everlasting life”(John 6:47). The free gift is based solely upon your trust in what Jesus did for you and has nothing at all to do with what you do for Him. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).

It's that simple dear reader. Shame on Colin Smith for perverting the Gospel. In his sermon titled, “The Gospel Perverts Or Jesus,” Pastor Lester Roloff (1914-1982) says it well, “The worst pervert in America is the gospel pervert!”
