Galatians 1:6-7, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.”
The Apostle Paul warned the Galatians that FALSE TEACHERS were preaching ANOTHER GOSPEL, but he quickly points out that it is not another Gospel, for the simple reason that THERE IS ONLY ONE GOSPEL. The “gospel” according to John 20:31, 1st Corinthians 1:18 and 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 is the 'GOOD NEWS' that Jesus is the Christ (the only begotten Son of God), who DIED on a cross, was BURIED, and then by the power of God He miraculously physically RESUURECTED bodily from the dead three days later.
You must understand that you are a guilty sinner (you've got to know why you need to be saved); and that there is a penalty for your sinning (which is eternal damnation in the fires of Hell). If you come to God on those terms as a needy sinner, and by faith receive Christ's sacrifice on the cross as payment for your sins, believing that Christ rose from the dead, you are forever permanently saved dear reader. Either you are saved forever or you are not saved!
Tragically, Pensacola Christian College, Crown College, Commonwealth Baptist College, and umpteen more Bible colleges today either bring their students to Ken Ham's Ark Encounter (or, they invite Ken Ham to speak at their colleges while honoring Ken Ham).

Where, Oh where, did Ken Ham and his staff at Answers-In-Genesis get the heretical false idea that more than faith is necessary to get to Heaven? Dear reader, there is only ONE GOSPEL. Galatians 1:6-7, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.” What Ken Ham is teaching is in direct contradiction to the Holy Scripture.
“In great contests [battles], each party claims to act in accordance with the will of God—both may be, but one must be, wrong—God cannot be for and against the same thing at the same time!” —President Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865)Why did Mr. Lincoln say that? It is because both the Northern Union and the Southern Confederacy claimed to be doing “God's will” in fighting The Civil War (1860-1965). Both President Jefferson Davis in the south, and President Abraham Lincoln in the north, said they were doing “God's will.” As Mr. Lincoln wisely points out, that is IMPOSSIBLE! When two opposing parties are warring against each other, each claiming to be doing God's will, obviously someone is WRONG! That is why Abraham Lincoln made that powerful statement!
The same contradiction exists today between the free grace Gospel camp, versus the Lordship Salvation camp. Both sides may be, but one must be, WRONG! It is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE that both sides are right. Either faith alone in Jesus Christ is enough to get to Heaven; or else faith plus works (turning from your evil way - Jonah 3:10) is necessary. Both of these two different plans of salvation may be wrong, but one must be. One of them may be correct, but both absolutely cannot be correct. We just read in Galatians 1:6-7 that there is only ONE GOSPEL. To lay the matter to rest, here is the Gospel as defined by the Apostle Paul:
1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”
To be saved, you simply need to receive Christ's sacrifice on the cross as payment for your sins, believing that after being buried, He physically resurrected from the dead three days later. 1st Thessalonians 4:14, “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.” Ken Ham is a theological liar! Nowhere does the inspired Holy Bible tell us to follow Christ, turn from our sinful way, or invite Jesus into our life to be saved. You may do all these things and have never been saved at all.
Jesus exclaimed to Nicodemus in no uncertain terms in John 3:7b that to enter into God's Kingdom, “YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN.” Have you experienced the new birth from above dear reader? You get born-again by placing your childlike faith (confidence) in the seed of God's Word concerning Jesus Christ. If you will simply BELIEVE the written record, as recorded by almighty God in His inspired Word, you will be saved immediately, irrevocably and forever. ...

Boy, I really love those hymn lyrics! My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ, who is my righteousness. My sin belongs to me, but my righteousness is Jesus Christ's. I dare not trust the sweetest frame of good works, forsaking a lifestyle of sinning, inviting Jesus into my life, asking Jesus into my heart, surrendering 'all' to Christ, church membership, water baptism, sacraments, or Lordship Salvation, but WHOLLY trust on Jesus' name.
If one day I go to Hell, it will be solely Jesus' fault, because I am WHOLLY trusting in His sacrifice on the cross, His burial and bodily resurrection. I am trusting in the precious blood that Jesus applied to the heavenly Mercy Seat in the presence of God the Father on my behalf (Hebrews 9:12, 22-24; 12:24).
Acts 20:27-28, “For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.”
The word 'purchased' means the right price applied to the right place. Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) explains this wonderful Bible truth in his book titled: 'THE CHURCH', in chapter 17 titled: 'The Price For The Church.' The PLACE is the Mercy Seat in the heavenly Holy Place in the Tabernacle (Hebrews 9:12, 22-24; 12:24). The PRICE is the precious BLOOD of Jesus (Acts 20:28). Dr. John MacArthur denies that Jesus' literal liquid blood is applied (sprinkled according to Hebrews 12:24) to the Mercy Seat. The blood had to be applied or no one could ever have been redeemed.
Hebrews 10:1, “For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.” As we just read, the Old testament LAW was a SHADOW of good things to come. That is, everything holy that happened within the Old Testament tabernacle, was a prototype of the one in Heaven.
But instead of having a high priest each year—who killed a male lamb without spot nor blemish (symbolizing the perfect sinless Lamb of God), and then carrying that blood in a basin into the Holy of Holies (the most holy place in existence at the time), and then sprinkled that lamb's blood upon the mercy seat (which overlaid the Ark of the Covenant) in the presence of God (between the two cherubims looking down upon the mercy seat)—Jesus is our resurrected HIGH PRIEST today. ...
Hebrews 4:14-15, “Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”
Jesus died as our sacrificial LAMB, but He raised up three days later and ascended into Heaven as our HIGH PRIEST. Romans 8:34, “Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.” What a wonderful God, Lord and Savior!!!
RUN from Ken Ham. The Apostle Paul wisely said in Galatians 2:4-5, “And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage: To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.” Paul saw that there were FALSE BRETHREN (like Ken Ham) who crept in unawares. Paul said they did not tolerate such lying false teachers, NO, NOT FOR AN HOUR!!!
So, why does PCC, Crown College, Commonwealth Bible College and other professed Christian institutions today wickedly TOLERATE Ken Ham and his sideshow circus, while he preaches another gospel of partial faith in Jesus plus works, which is accursed by God? Enough is enough! The time is now for every child of God to stop supporting Ken Ham and his counterfeit plan of salvation, and his heretical Young Earth theories (but that is a different blog). Ken Ham is not friend to the Gospel. To attack the grace of God is to attack the God of grace. Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do.
