Can A Person Be Saved And Still Pray To Mary?

1st Timothy 2:5-6, “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.”

In my humble opinion, praying to Mary will not prevent you from going to Heaven, if you are solely trusting what Jesus did on Calvary's cross to pay for your sins—believing that He died, was buried, but then physically resurrected from the dead three days later. This is “the gospel,” the 'Good News,' by which all who believe it are instantly, irrevocably and forever saved (Romans 1:16). Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do.

That being said, Jesus is the ONLY Mediator between God the Father and humanity.
1st Timothy 2:5-6, “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.” So, if you do pray to Mary, you are just wasting your time and going against the plain teaching of inspired Scripture. Mary was a sinner, just like everyone else, and she has no special power of influence with the Son of God. To pray to Mary is the horrible sin of idolatry.

Roman Catholicism is a prisonhouse of false religion. The wicked Vatican has sinfully fabricated many false teachings concerning Mary in an effort to venerate (worship) her. Mary was not immaculately born, she had a human mother and father.

Nor did Mary remain a perpetual virgin as Catholicism strangely teaches. The Bible clearly teaches in Matthew 13:55-56 that Jesus had half brothers and sisters by Mary and Joseph. Joseph was their biological father, but not Jesus' father. Joseph was his Dad that raised Him, but God the Father is Jesus' biological Father. Jesus was virgin born, a miracle wrought by the Holy Spirit without any physical contact with Mary (contrary to what pervert Mormons teach).

Pope Pius XII defined the dogma of the Assumption of Mary on November 1, 1950, stating that Mary was taken body and soul into Heaven at the end of her earthly life. This belief emphasizes her unique role in salvation and is celebrated annually on August 15. Here is a disturbing long list of false doctrines FABRICATED by the Roman Catholic cult over the past several centuries. God's curse is upon the Catholic religion, which sadly has 1.6 billion followers today. Since Catholics believe that Mary was sinless, and the Bible plainly teaches in Romans 6:23b that the wages of sin is death, they had to concoct another heresy that Mary never died, she was simply taken into Heaven by God. We know that is false! One heresy begets another false teaching, and another, and another; hence, Catholicism!

Getting back to the question question about praying to Mary. It is a sin. Praying to anyone other than members of the Godhead (Trinity) is the evil of idolatry. Catholic leaders are so evil that they've even removed God's second commandment from His Ten Commandments, which forbids bowing to graven images. It is perfectly acceptable to pray to either or all members of the Godhead, in lieu of the fact that there is only one true and living God (Deuteronomy 6:4).

It is difficult for me to comprehend how any thinking person could join such an obvious hoax of a religion. Reports indicate that since 1950, approximately 216,000 children have been sexually abused by clergy in the French Catholic Church alone, with similar patterns observed in other countries, including the United States. The issue has been widely documented, revealing systemic failures in addressing and reporting these abuses. All toll, MILLIONS of defenseless children worldwide have been sexually preyed upon by deranged Catholic leaders. And yet, wicked parents continue to feed their precious children to these wolves in sheep's clothing under the guise of religion.

I cannot warn you enough to steer clear of the deadly cults of Roman and Russian Orthodox Catholicism. They have different headquarter locations (Rome, Italy and Moscow, Russia), but they serve the same boss, Satan (2nd Corinthians 11:13-15). The Devil is a beautiful liar! Catholicism is of the Devil. We should never pray to patron saints like St. Anthony (his statue is often displayed with his dog) because the Bible strictly forbids it.
Revelation 22:8-9, “And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.”
When I lived on the island of Guam for 17 years, I was at my neighbour's house one day and his wife invited some ladies over from their Catholic parish down the street (St. Jude's). At their parish they passed a 3-foot tall statue of Our Lady of Fatima around from house to house, where it stayed at each house for a couple months. Each family would decorate their living room as if God Himself were coming to visit. I saw that wicked group of women bow in prayer to that Satanic statue in idolatry, and I got out of there as fast as I could, because I could feel the Devil's presence. Idolatry is a horrible sin, which brings God's judgment.

I humbly believe it is possible for a Christian to foolishly pray to Mary in ignorance. However, if a person is genuinely born again, the indwelling Holy Spirit will convict that individual about the present sins in their life, including praying to Mary (Hebrews 12:6-8). God is not an absent parent. He will chastise His children. The inspired Word of God is abundantly clear that we are only to pray to the Father in Jesus' name. Someone has said that as believers we pray to the Father, through the Son, in the power of the Holy Spirit. I like that teaching.

That is what 1st Timothy 2:5 means. Man is sinful. God the Father is holy and perfect. Man was unable to fellowship with God, so Jesus (God the Son) came into the world to die on a cross 2,000 years ago to gap the bridge between man and God the Father. Now that Jesus is risen from the dead and has ascended into Heaven as our intercessory High Priest (Romans 8:32; Hebrews 4:14-16), we can access the Father's throne of grace at any time night or day 365.25 days a year. So, there is absolutely no need to pray to Mary. Again, to do so is fruitless. Mary cannot do anything to answer our prayers. Catholics have the weird idea that since Mary is Jesus earthly mother that she has special power of influence with Christ, but that is not true. Even Jesus downplayed such foolish thinking.
Matthew 12:47-50, "Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee. But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother."
In this passage, Jesus plainly showed that his mother doesn't carry any special power of influence with Him. Jesus clearly said that whosoever obeys the will of the Father (to believe on Him - John 6:40) is equal to His mother. So, people who sinfully pray to Mary might as well pray to you or me. Mary is nothing with God. She was a dirty sinner, although a virtuous young woman as well. Mary needed to trust Jesus as her personal Savior too, or she would have gone to burn in hell forever. Thankfully, Mary did trust Jesus, calling Him
my Saviour in Luke 1:47. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
