Pastor Peter Ruckman Was Dead Wrong On Repentance

Galatians 3:1-2, “O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?”

Pastor Peter S. Ruckman (1921-2016) preached the garbage that you must turn from your sinful ways to be saved! In this sermon by Ruckman titled, “Repentance,” starting at about 15 minutes into the message, he plainly teaches that you must turn away from your Devilment (and he lists dozens of sins you must forsake to be saved). Here are the words of an unlearned fool for a preacher...

“You say, 'Repent of what?' Repent of your devilment. Repent of your meanness. Repent of your laziness. Repent of your stubbornness. You want me to tell it like it is and name them? You have to name things to people these days. They've had so much positive slop about sharing Christ and sharing their experience and the love of God, that they don't even know what they're to turn from or turn to any more. They got the blind staggers!” —Pastor Peter S. Ruckman

This audio excerpt from the sermon is complete and total heresy. We are saved by faith in the death, burial and bodily resurrection of Jesus (i.e., the Gospel - 1st Corinthians 15:1-6), as the total and complete payment for our entire sin debt. Dr. Ruckman was an ignorant unlearned fool who wrested the inspired Word of God instead of rightly dividing the Word of Truth. He further errantly preaches...

“Repent, turn from your sins. Pay back the money you owe. Start paying your bills on time. Repent, that's what that means. That's what this nation needs.” —Pastor Peter S. Ruckman

This statement would be fine if Ruckman were talking about the Christian's walk, but he doesn't make any distinction between salvation versus service. It is clear from the entire sermon on 'Repentance' that he is preaching how to be saved.

Peter Ruckman Doesn't Know What 'Repentance' Means 

Dear reader, Bible “repentance” concerning salvation is always either the Greek noun metanoia (a change of mind); or the Greek verb metanoeo (to think differently). Concerning the new birth, to repent NEVER means to turn from your sins, nor even to be willing to turn from your sinning. The following damnable heresy preached by Dr. Ruckman is rooted in his foolish assumption that repentance means to forsake your sinning. ...

“As people hear the message of the Gospel, the Holy Spirit convicts them of their sin and gives them a desire to repent, and turn from their sins, and trust Christ.” —Pastor Peter S. Ruckman (time 25:57 in sermon video titled, 'Repentance')

Ruckman got it mostly right, but deadly rat poison contains 99% wholesome safe food to eat. Nowhere does the inspired Holy Bible teach that a lost person must desire to turn from their sinful bad habits as a prerequisite to God's saving grace. Dr. Ruckman is preaching the Satanic fraud of Lordship Salvation! He is mixing and confusing service with salvation.

“If you do not put a difference between justification wrought by the man Christ without and sanctification wrought by the Spirit of Christ within, you are not able to divide the Word aright; but contrariwise, you corrupt the Word of God, and cast stumbling blocks before the people.” —John Bunyan (1628-1688)

Well said John Bunyan! The Bible couldn't be clearer that we are saved by grace through faith without works (Romans 4:4-7; Ephesians 2:8-9). In this sermon excerpt, Peter Ruckman errantly says that we're saved by quitting cigarettes, giving out religious tracts, paying our bills, and every other good work that we can possibly think of. He claims to believe the King James Bible but the Word of God never uses the phrase "repent of sin" anywhere. It was added by ungodly men who wanted to coerce sinners to forsake sin as a prerequisite to partake of the miraculous new birth (regeneration). Ruckman is preaching blatant works for salvation, and is therefore teaching a false gospel. Peter Ruckman is sadly now burning in Hell forever!

Bible Baptist Church In Pensacola Is A Cult!

Dr. Ruckman was a damnable heretic on God's simple plan of salvation. BEWARE of the Bible Baptist Church in Pensacola, Ruckman's cult. Their ungodly bookstore threatened to sue me in 2023 for sharing Ruckman's King James Bible books in .pdf format. God's curse rests upon Bible Baptist Church and their greedy leaders! SHAME on them for upholding and continuing Ruckman's wicked multiple plans of salvation, dispensational heresy, his false preaching on repentance and other blatant falsehoods. Peter Ruckman was a devil in the church pulpit! 

Dr. Peter S. Ruckman despite his excellent work defending the King James Bible was a false prophet who supported abortion, sanctioned women dressing like whores in pants, permitted divorce and remarriage, taught that works saved people in the Old Testament, believed in little green aliens, and he heretically taught that you must turn from your sins to be saved. SHAME on anyone who follows or bids Godspeed to this wicked man!

Also, beware of Ruckman's nutcase followers: Dr. William P. Grady, Robert Breaker and David Hoffman (to name but a few religious clowns). All of these woefully ignorant men preach that people were saved by works under Mosaic law. They all preach misunderstood repentance. They all preach the tommyrot, poppycock and balderdash of dispensationalism.

Furthermore, the corrupt Bible Baptist Church in Pensacola LOVE toxic Chick Tracts, which trashy tracts require to “Be willing to turn from sin” in order to be saved. The same goes for the cult at Pensacola Christian College (who preach hard core Lordship Salvation), and 90% of the sickening toxic Baptist churches throughout the city of Pensacola today. SHAME!
