Exodus 20:3-6, “Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.”
The Horrible Sin of IDOLATRY!
Exodus 20:4-5Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above... Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God.
Deuteronomy 27:15
Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image, an abomination unto the Lord, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth it in a secret place.
FACT: The Catholic Church promotes the making and veneration (worship) of statues and images of Mary, saints and even Jesus. God clearly forbids this. Bowing, kneeling or praying to statues is idolatry, not worship of God.

Catholicism calls Mary the “Queen of Heaven,” a title used for a Babylonian pagan goddess God condemned. ...
Jeremiah 7:18
The children gather wood... to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.
Jeremiah 44:25
Ye have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your hand, saying, We will surely perform our vows, that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heaven.
FACT: The title “Queen of Heaven” is pagan in origin from Babylon. God judged Israel for worshiping this false deity. Catholicism gives this same title to Mary, thereby provoking God to anger through idolatrous worship. It is a horrible sin to worship anyone or anything other than our Creator, the Holy God who authored the inspired King James Bible.

Catholicism errantly teaches that salvation comes partly through works and sacraments, not by faith alone in Jesus Christ. ...
Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Romans 11:6
And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace.Philippians 3:9And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.
FACT: Catholic doctrine adds baptism, confession, the Eucharist and other sacraments as necessary for salvation. But the Bible declares salvation is solely by grace through faith in Christ alone, not of works or rituals.

The toxic Catholic “Mass” (Eucharist) re-sacrifices Jesus, which denies His finished work on the cross. ...
Hebrews 10:10
By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Hebrews 10:12
But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God.
FACT: Catholicism teaches that the Mass is a continual sacrifice of Christ. But inspired Scripture says Jesus died ONCE for all. Repeating Jesus' crucifixtion in the Mass is a denial of the sufficiency and finality of Christ’s sacrifice.

The Catholic priesthood falsely claims to mediate between man and God. ...
1 Timothy 2:5
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.Hebrews 4:14-16Seeing then that we have a great high priest... Jesus the Son of God... Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace...
FACT: Catholic priests claim to absolve sins and act as mediators. The Bible says Jesus Christ alone is our High Priest and Mediator. We do not need a human priest to approach God.

Praying to Mary or “saints” is a form of necromancy—contacting the dead, which God forbids.
Deuteronomy 18:10-12
There shall not be found among you any one... that useth divination, or an observer of times, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord.
Isaiah 8:19
And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits... should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?
FACT: Catholics pray to Mary and deceased “saints” for intercession. The Bible calls this an abomination. We are to pray to God through Jesus Christ alone.

Catholicism adds man-made tradition to Scripture, directly violating God’s command. ...
Mark 7:7-9
Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men... Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
Colossians 2:8
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men... and not after Christ.
FACT: Catholicism elevates traditions, councils, and the pope’s words to the level of Scripture. But Jesus rebuked those who replaced God's commandments with human tradition.

Calling the pope “Holy Father” blasphemes the name of God. ...
John 17:11
Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me...
Matthew 23:9
And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
FACT: Jesus used the term “Holy Father” only for God. Calling a man by this name is blasphemy. Christ commands us not to call any religious leader “father” in a spiritual sense.
Catholicism promotes vain repetitions in prayer, which Jesus forbids.
Matthew 6:7
But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Ecclesiastes 5:2Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.
FACT: Repeating “Hail Mary” or scripted prayers over and over is condemned by Jesus. God desires sincere, thoughtful, Spirit-led prayer—not ritualistic repetition.
There is not a more dangerous FALSE RELIGION than Roman Catholicism. This includes the Russian Orthodox Church which is headquartered in Moscow, Russia. In contrast, Roman Catholicism is headquartered in Vatican City, Rome. But these two different organizations essentially preach THE SAME demonic false teachings, worshipping Mary and statues.
Salvation is NOT found in ANY religion; but rather, in a PERSON—the Lord Jesus Christ.
