The following screenshot from YouTube of an empty church is typical of churches today, which is a shameful sign of the perilous times we are living in today.
Acts 20:20 has often been called, “a believer's 20/20 vision.” That is, going soulwinning house to house, door to door, in the local community. There is no more effective way to build a church! Albeit, going out door to door soulwinning requires hard work, and that means sacrifice. It is tragic that 99% of churches don't go soulwinning at all, which is why those churches are empty every Sunday, struggling to keep the doors open financially.
Empty Churches Have Become The Norm In America
And of the 1% of churches that do go door to door in the community, they call it “visitation” and merely pass out invitation flyers to come to church. There is no sharing of the Gospel. Still, that is better than nothing. Sadly, the churches that I have attended that do go on visitation in the community (to invite people to church), only do it once every 3 or 4 months. Do you understand dear reader that this amounts to a total of 3 to 4 hours a year of visitation? No wonder we see churches dying today.
Here are some sad and tragic signs of the times:
Here is 'THE GREAT COMMISSION' in the inspired Holy Bible...
Matthew 28:19-20, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
Sadly, THE GREAT COMISSION in 99% of churches today has effectively become THE GREAT OMISSION. ...
