If You Love Ice Cold Refreshing Water, Don't Go To Hell

Luke 16:19-26, There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

I LOVE cold water. I get so thirsty sometimes, and I love drinking lots of fresh spring water. I have an ice-maker on my refrigerator, for the first time in my life at age 56. I had never been blessed to have such a nice thing. I love ice cold water! There's not a single time when I enjoy cold refreshing water, when I am not reminded of the suffering rich man still in Hell today. It saddens my heart when I think about that poor man, who during his formerly earthly life was very wealthy. He went from being extremely rich to utterly poor.

I never rejoice in his calamity, for that would be sinful and very wrong. Rather, I rejoice as Jesus told us on Luke 10:20 that my name is written in Heaven, in the precious Lamb's Book of Life. I praise God that I have been a born-again believer since age 13. We don't hear that term “born again” used hardly anymore in today's spiritually lifeless, theologically barren and corrupt pulpits. RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!

Dear reader, the choice is yours alone. Please get saved before it is too late...

THE CLEAR GOSPEL IN 4 MINUTE
(Dr. Ralph Yankee Arnold)

God never sent anyone to Hell who didn't choose to go there, by rejecting God's free gift of eternal life through faith alone in Jesus Christ. Dear friend, Jesus died on a cross to pay your debt of sin, and mine. Some people accuse free grace preachers like me of promoting “cheap grace.” No dear reader, God's grace is not cheap, it is in fact COMPLETELY FREE!!!

Jesus has already paid for everyone's sins with His own precious blood. 1st Peter 1:18-19, “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:” You don't need to “ask” Jesus to save you, for He has already paid your debt of sin is freely offering you eternal life as a gift. Yes, eternal life is a free gift (Romans 5:15-18). All God expects of you dear sinner is that you take it! Salvation has no obligations or stipulations, nor can it, if eternal life is to truly remain a gift.

Only THE TRUTH of the Gospel of Jesus Christ can set a LOST SINNER free! If you foolishly reject God's great gift, then in Hell someday you will be DENIED even one drop of water. ...
Luke 16:19-26, “There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.”
Please read verse 24 carefully dear reader...
Luke 16:24, “And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
The Bible warns that if anyone goes to Hell (Greek: Hades), you will be denied even one single drop of water to quench your thirst. I don't know about you friend, but that is enough reason to get saved. If this story in Luke 16:19-31 is not a factual literal story, then Jesus is a liar! But our Lord is not a liar. John 14:1-2, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. Our blessed Savior said what He meant, and He meant what He said.

This story in Luke 16:19-31 is 100% accurate and true. It really happened. The Bible says that God is no respecter of persons (Romans 2:11). If God allowed the rich man to die in his sins, and go to Hell to be tormented forever, you can expect no less horror if you also die in your sins without Jesus as your personal Savior. John 8:24, “I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.”

Do you BELIEVE that Jesus is the Christ, the only begotten Son of God? John 20:31, “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” Do you BELIEVE that Jesus died on a cross for your sins, and that He was buried, and bodily resurrected after three days (1st Corinthians 15:1-6)? BELIEVE the Gospel, that is, the GOOD NEWS, oh guilty sinner and you are saved!

Please get saved, to ensure that in eternity you will be able to quench your thirsty with me from the pure water of life. Revelation 22:1, “And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.” Jesus drank liquid in His ressurected body, and so will we according to Philippians 3:21, when we receive an immortal glorified body at the Rapture, fashioned like unto the Lord's resurrected body. Revelation 7:17, For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. What a glorious day that will be, when my Jesus I shall see! Jesus is precious!!!

I am not glad that anyone ever goes to Hell, and neither should you be either. God has no pleasure in the death of the wicked (Ezekiel 18:32).

When I enjoy cold refreshing water, I always rejoice that I am eternally saved and know it. The Bible says in 1st John 5:13 that we can KNOW we are saved certain. Do you have the Holy Spirit in you, bearing witness with your spirit that the Gospel is THE TRUTH by which all who BELIEVE IT are forever saved (1st John 3:24). I KNOW I am saved because I BELIEVED the Gospel at age 13 and was born-again. The old account was settled long ago! I have been saved certain now for 42 years, since age 13. You can only be born physically into the world one time. Likewise, you can only be born again spiritually into God's family once. If you are born twice, you die once; if you are born once, you die twice!

My faith wholly rests in Jesus' name, because of what He did through Calvary's cross to pay for my sins, and that He was buried and then miraculously raised up physically the third day (1st Corinthians 15:1-6; John chapters 19-20). Jesus ascended into Heaven and sprinkled His literal liquid blood upon the heavenly Mercy Seat in the presence of God the Father (Hebrews 9:12, 22-24; 12:24). That is my only hope for forgiveness of sins and eternal life. Thank you for reading my humble blog. Jesus is precious!!!

Life is Short, Hell is Hot, and Eternity is a Long Time!
