2nd Corinthians 11:6, “But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things.” Titus 1:10-14, “For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake. One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies. This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.”
Please notice the last part of Titus 1:14b, “...commandments of men, that turn from the truth.” WOW!!! The Bible teaches that the commandments of men turn people from THE TRUTH. Mark 7:9, “And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.” This has always been man's problem! Eve rejected God's commandment not to eat the forbidden fruit, choosing rather to do her own thing, following the serpent's bad advice. We are surrounded by bad advice nowadays. Sadly, much of that bad advice and damnable heresy exists in corrupted Bible colleges and churches!
The teachings of man are in direct competition with the commandments of God! Do you know what the word “heresy” means? It means to have “an opinion”:
HERESY — ...“a choosing, choice”; (from haireomai, "to choose") then, "that which is chosen," and hence, "an opinion," especially a self-willed opinion, which is substituted for submission to the power of truth, and leads to division and the formation of sects...
SOURCE: “VINE'S COMPLETE EXPOSITORY DICTIONARY OF OLD AND NEW TESTAMENT WORDS”; ISBN 0-7852-1160-8
Any opinion that differs from God's opinion is HERESY! Romans 3:4, “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.”
Rebuking Pensacola Christian College (PCC) Sharply For Heresy
As an example of heresy, associate pastor Tim Zacharias at Pensacola Christian College's (PCC) 'Campus Church' is a doctrinal LIAR! Why do I say that? On July 14, 2021 at a Wednesday night Bible study, Pastor Zacharias said, and I quote: “Repentance is a change of mind which results in a change of behavior.” No Sir, that is NOT the free grace Gospel taught in the inspired King James Bible (1st Corinthians 15:1-4). I was personally sitting in the audience at Campus Church, sickened by what Dr. Zacharias was teaching.
We must stay true to the simplicity of the gospel (2nd Corinthians 11:3-4). Repentance regarding salvation is a change of mind from unbelief to belief!!! Must earnestly contend for the faith. Jude 1:3, "Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints." This is no trifle matter at PCC. When a pastor teaches thousands of church members and PCC students blatant heresy, it adversely affects the Kingdom of God. People cannot get saved from a corrupted plan of salvation!!! I love this powerful quote from one of my favorite preachers, Pastor Ralph Yankee Arnold:
“There is power in this Gospel message. Most people just don't know how to present it... The clarity of the Gospel is what makes it easy for them to believe.” —Pastor Yankee Arnold, a quote from the excellent MP3 sermon titled, “WHY GRACE CAN SAVE THE WORST MAN!”
Dear reader, I love the Gospel of John. You can hear the entire Gospel of John in a little under 2 hours (1:53 hours). The Gospel of John is God's Gospel tract according to John 20:31, “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” If to “repent” means to forsake our sinful ways TO BE SAVED, but Jesus already paid for our sins by dying on the cross, then what are we repenting from? Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith.
"Any teaching that demands a change of conduct toward either God or man for salvation is to add works or human effort to faith, and this contradicts all Scripture and is an accursed message (Gal. 1:8-9; Deut. 27:18). Study the book of Galatians." —REPENTANCE, Pastor A. Ray Stanford, Chapter 6, HANDBOOK OF PERSONAL EVANGELISM
Before salvation we are known by our sins, but after salvation we are identified with the righteousness of Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ took all our sin at the cross and now we have the privilege to have His righteous record placed on our account!
“If all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags, then why would you use those rags to prove that you're saved?” —Pastor Ralph 'Yankee' Arnold, sermon quote: “How Do I Know God Really Loves Me? - Part 2”
Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) said these excellent words:
“Redemption is a work of God the Son. Regeneration is the work of God the Holy Spirit. Justification is the work of God the Father as He declares the sinner righteous in the Son. Conversion then becomes the work of the church as we change the use and purpose of a life.” SOURCE: Chapter 4 from "Enemies Of Soul Winning," titled: "Misunderstood Repentance."
Amen and amen! We've got a bunch of woefully ignorant pastors today, who have taken it upon themselves to change and corrupt God's simple plan of salvation, in an attempt to force people to turn from their sinful bad habits to go to Heaven. The truth, as Dr. Hyles just explained, is that God has delegated the responsibility of mentoring new converts to local New Testament churches. Part of The Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20 is to teach our converts the things of Christ.
Literally, we're supposed to indoctrinate our converts with THE TRUTH. Pastor have a Biblical duty to "PREACH THE WORD." 2nd Timothy 4:2, "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine." How often do we hear pastors rebuking false prophets? When I attended Campus Church at Pensacola Christian College for a few months, I never heard one word of rebuke against false doctrine or false teachers!
Pastor Redlin spoke Sunday after Sunday all summer about Man's relationship to God regarding work. It was interesting, but lacking the kind of preaching that we need today! Nearly every pastor hates Pastor Steven Anderson (and I don't agree with all his methods or teachings), but I LOVE THE GUY! Brother Anderson has the balls to say it like it is. He doesn't just rub the cat the wrong way, he skins it! Pastor Lester Roloff (1914-1982) rightly said: "We need porcupine preachers today, so people will get the point!" Amen and amen! Folks, time is running out. While Pastor Redlin is playing church and tickling ears, the world is going to Hell.
"Only one life, yes only one, Now let me say, “Thy will be done”; And when at last I’ll hear the call, I know I’ll say ’twas worth it all”; Only one life,’ twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last." —Missionary C.T. Studd
Sword Of The Lord editor Sheldon Smith made this awesome quote:
“Salvation is not our doing, but it is something that the Lord does. We put our trust in Christ, He is the One that saves us. And again I repeat: He rescues us, He ransoms us, He redeems us, He regenerates us. All of that we find out, simply by reading the Bible.” —Pastor Sheldon Smith, "Making A Difference" radio broadcast; May 14, 2021; "The Distinguishing Difference in the Christian Life - Part 10"
That is absolutely correct! The garbage being preached at Pensacola Christian College today, that says: "Repentance is a change of mind which results in a change of behavior," is NOT the Gospel of free grace! PCC is complicating the simplicity that is in Christ!!!
"It is true that we are sinners–but Christ has suffered for us. It is true that we deserve death–but Christ has died for us. It is true that we are guilty debtors–but Christ has paid our debts with His own blood. This is the real Gospel! This is the good news! On this let us lean while we live. To this let us cling when we die. Christ has been “lifted up” on the cross, and has thrown open the gates of heaven to all believers.” ~ J.C. Ryle
The true Gospel always points you to Christ; a false gospel always points to you. Somebody needs to explain that to Pastors' Zacharias and Redlin at Campus Church at PCC. Here is a screenshot that I captured from their Foundation's Class at Campus Church...

Sadly, it's easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled. Author Mark Twain said that, and he was so right! If as a pastor you are not guarding the flock against the heresies of Calvinism, misunderstood repentance and Lordship Salvation, you have NO RIGHT standing behind the pulpit and preaching every Sunday morning!
Anybody will ADD Jesus to their household deities, false religion or corrupt beliefs; but to be saved you must REPENT of your dead works, unbelief and BELIEVE only on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 16:30-31, “And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” That is the true meaning of repentance, from unbelief to belief! To be saved you've got to forsake your faith in Buddhism, Catholicism, Mother Mary, Zoroaster, Hara Krishna, Muhammad and religion, and believe ONLY on the Lord Jesus Christ. John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Jesus didn't just show up to a corrupted Jewish nation, who had been rejecting the truth of God's Word for 1,000 years, and then say: "And now just add Me to your beliefs!” Jesus showed up and said: "You've got to abandon your idols and false gods and trust only in Me!" Titus 1:14, "Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth." John 3:20-21, "For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God." Carefully notice that the Bible does say "he that turns from his sins" comes to the light (the truth of the Gospel) to be saved; but rather, "he that doeth truth cometh to the light." That is amazing dear friend.
What saith the Scripture? 2nd Timothy 2:25-26, "In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will." Please notice again that the Holy Bible doesn't tell us to "repent of your sin" to be saved; but rather, "repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;" (2nd Timothy 2:25b). Repentance is simply admitting that you are as guilty a sinner as God hath declared you to be in His inspired Word.
One of my favorite preachers, Pastor Harry A. Ironside (1876-1951) rightly says:
"Repentance is the recognition of my sinnership—the owning before God that I am as vile as He has declared me to be in His holy Word."
SOURCE: Except Ye Repent, by Dr. Harry Ironside, chapter 3
That's it! That is all Bible repentance to be saved means, nothing more.
Beware of Misunderstood Repentance in churches today. You cannot show me even one place in the inspired King James Bible which says to repent "of your sin" for any reason. Salvation is by FAITH ALONE. Galatians 3:26, “For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.” So how have thousands of pastors today become corrupted, foolishly teaching that you must also be willing to clean up your life of sin to be saved? They've been listening to other corrupt preachers and the Devil!
“Nobody goes to Heaven because he is good; you go to Heaven because you know you're bad, and you flee to Jesus Who died to save sinners.” —Pastor Jack Hyles (“God Only Saves Bad People”;
Rebuking Pastor James Knox For Preaching Heresy
Pastor James Knox is the long-time pastor of The Bible Baptist Church in Leland, Florida. I like James Knox. I have shared numerous of his excellent sermons over the decades. Sadly, he is wrong on Bible repentance for salvation.
Read the blatant heresy preached by Pastor Knox:
“Do you know why it's hard to know if people get saved or not anymore? It's because we've given them this option of salvation without repentance. You don't see a changed life, because no changed life was expected. No changed life was required. Look, you can stop drinking, stop cussing, stop chasing women, stop chasing men, stop chasing both—you can quit all that stuff and die and go to Hell—repentance is not the Gospel. But you're not going to come to God, without any sorry, any guilt, any acknowledgement, any desire, to do something about your sin. You're not going to get saved on those terms. Those are man's terms, not God's terms.” SOURCE: Pastor James Knox, “Repent And Believe The Gospel: What Is Repentance?” (58:22 time in YouTube sermon video)
What do you mean, an "OPTION of salvation without repentance." Kindly said, Pastor Knox is woefully ignorant of the Biblical Greek meaning of the word "repent." Repentance regarding getting saved is always either the noun metanoia (a change of mind), or the verb metanoeo (to think differently). Repentance relating to the new birth NEVER means to “turn away from your sinful behavior,” nor does it result in “a change of behavior“” (as PCC heretical teaches) after you are saved. The problem is that many pastors fail to keep sanctification separate from justification. Pastor Jack Hyles does a wonderful job explaining this great truth in this classic Pastor's School sermon titled: "Steps In Sanctification; Or, The Root Of All Heresy."
Dear reader, Pastor Knox errantly teaches that a man repents first, and then he believes afterwards in time. That is unbiblical. The Bible teaches that the man who believes has repented. Dr. John R. Rice gets it right:
Oh dear friend, that is so beautiful. Please don't miss it! It is heresy to tell someone to "repent of your sin" as a requirement to be saved. Brother Rice got it 100% correct. When you BELIEVE on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 16:30-31), trusting that He died on the cross in your place, was buried and bodily resurrected three days later (1st Corinthians 15:1-4), you are immediately, irrevocably and eternally saved (John 3:16). The person who believes HAS turned from their sin. John 3:20 says that hardened sinners WON'T come to Christ to be saved, lest their evil deeds should be reproved. John 3:20, “For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.”There are those hyper-dispensationalists who think that John the Baptist preached a different Gospel from Christ when he commanded repentance (Matt. 3:2). But it is the same repentance Jesus commanded in Matthew 4:17, in Luke 13:3 and 5, and the same repentance that Paul preached in Athens that God “now commandeth all men every where to repent” (Acts 17:30 31). Repentance is not a different plan of salvation from having faith: it is part of the same plan of salvation. Or rather repentance is simply another way of describing or looking at the plan of salvation. One who turns from sin to God has done so by trusting in Jesus Christ. A change of mind toward sin is necessarily involved in saving faith.Everyone who genuinely repented under the preaching of John the Baptist put his trust in the Saviour John the Baptist preached, and was regenerated. There is no such thing as being “a disciple of John the Baptist” in any honest sense without being a disciple of Jesus, that is, without trusting Christ for salvation. How Long Halt Ye Between Two Opinions?

Turning from sin is not an additional step to be saved. The person who comes to Jesus and BELIEVES on Him, has met every demand of our holy God to be saved. Nothing more is necessary or permitted by God. We are saved by FAITH ALONE. Pastor James Knox teaches that faith is insufficient without repenting. He fails to grasp that repentance is part of believing! It is a counterfeit gospel when preachers separate the act of repenting from believing. Repentance is the very change of mind that facilitates believing. James Knox preached a follow-up sermon about Repentance Without Salvation. But that is REFORMATION, not repentance!!!
It is important that we understand some terms:
- Penitence - Sorrow for sin
- Penance - Making a mend for sin
- Reformation - Turning from sin
- Repentance - a change of mind
God DOESN'T require penitence, penance or reformation to be saved. Sadly, way too many preachers today confuse these theological terms, failing to understand that Bible repentance is simply “a change of mind.” Repentance is a change of mind from unbelief to belief. A person may or may not feel sorrow over their sins. They may or may not desire to correct their wrongs. They may or may not be ready to forsake some pet sins. But friend, none of these virtues are required to receive God's FREE GIFT (Romans 5:15-18) of eternal life. Faith in the Good News of Jesus Christ crucified, buried and risen is all that is necessary to go to Heaven.
Judas knew he had sinned against an innocent man, Jesus. Judas felt sorry. Judas returned the 30 pieces of silver. Judas felt guilty:
Matthew 27:3-5, “Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that. And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.”
The Bible says that Judas "repented." Huh, that's interesting. Yet we know Judas had a devil in him (John 6:70). The explanation is simple, what Judas experienced wasn't true repentance unto life; but rather, he merely felt sorrow and guilty afterwards for his sin. The Greek word for repented here is metamellomai (regret, sorrow for sin), which is NEVER used in relation to salvation. Judas repented of his sin and still went to Hell forever!!! Dear friend, you don't get saved by repenting, you get saved by BELIEVING ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST (Acts 16:30-31). But no one has ever believed who didn't repent, which simply means to admit your sinnership to God. You've got to know what you're being saved from!!!
But the heretical idea that you need to experience some radical kind of mental transformation, which compels you to start living a cleaner life of holiness instead of sin, is damnable false doctrine. The ONLY thing that changes when you get saved if that now God's Holy Spirit indwells (lives inside) you (Romans 8:9; 1st John 3:24). 2nd Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” That simply means that you now have God living inside you as His adopted child (John 1:12-13).
God saves a man, and then the Holy Spirit begins to work on changing him. When a child of God disobeys, our heavenly Daddy gets the belt out to chastise us (Hebrews 12:6-8). This is sanctification (John 17:17). We must always keep sanctification separate from justification. I love what one of my favorite preachers, Pastor Harry Ironside (1876-1951) says:
“The Gospel is not a call to repentance, or to amendment of our ways, to make restitution for past sins, or to promise to do better in the future. These things are proper in their place, but they do not constitute the Gospel; for the Gospel is not good advice to be obeyed, it is good news to be believed. Do not make the mistake then of thinking that the Gospel is a call to duty or a call to reformation, a call to better your condition, to behave yourself in a more perfect way than you have been doing in the past …Nor is the Gospel a demand that you give up the world, that you give up your sins, that you break off bad habits, and try to cultivate good ones. You may do all these things, and yet never believe the Gospel and consequently never be saved at all.”SOURCE: Harry A. Ironside, from the sermon: What Is The Gospel?
The biggest threat to Christianity today is pastors who don't care. Horrible pastors like Sean Quinlan, Tim Zacharias and Jeff Redlin are to blame for the deterioration of the churches today. Calvinist false prophets like Marty Herron, Ray Comfort, Paul Washer, John Piper, Adrian Rodgers, Chip Ingram, Charles Phelps, Steve Pettit, John MacArthur, Gary Walton and Sam Horn need to be exposed (Romans 16:17-18). Anybody who teaches a variation of Lordship Salvation is espousing damnable Calvinist theology.
Several thousand students at PCC are being adversely influenced by a cold-hearted, immature, uncaring, stuck-up, unloving and lukewarm pastor! I humbly speak to the shame of Pastor Jeff Redlin. I am just a rotten sinner redeemed by God's grace. Pastor Redlin falsely accused me in July of 2021 of "finding weaknesses" in preachers. No Sir, I "REBUKE THEM SHARPLY" as the Bible commands in Titus 1:10-14. I expose them because they preach another gospel accursed by God (Galatians 1:6-9). Jeff Redlin is not right with God to say what he did. Instead of contending for the Christian faith (Jude1:3), Pastor Redlin is wickedly bidding Godspeed to false prophets in the corrupt Bob Jones camp (2nd John 1:11). SHAME! SHAME!! SHAME!!!
I am a nobody, just some guy with a website. I AM A VOICE!!! But Jesus is precious and He is my blessed Savior!!! Revelation 3:2, “Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.”
