The Bible Only Teaches "Easy-Believism"

2nd Corinthians 11:3-4, "But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him."

The following wonderful words are written by Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001), from chapter 12 of his helpful book: "Enemies Of Soul Winning." Chapter 12 is titled: "Lifestyle Evangelism: An Enemy Of Soul Winning"...

To be quite frank, I do not know what "easy-believism" means, but I do believe in "believism." Look at some of the Bible conversions; for example, the conversion of the Ethiopian eunuch. In Acts 8:36, the eunuch asked, "What doth hinder me to be baptized?" In verse 37, Philip said, "If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest." Later on in verse 37, the eunuch said, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God." In verse 38 he was baptized. This, my friend, is believism-the only way a person can be saved.

Now notice the conversion of the Philippian jailor in Acts 16. In verse 30, the question is plainly asked, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" In verse 31, it is answered plainly, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." This, my friend, is believism.

Now read Acts 4:4 where 5,000 men were saved by believing. "Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand." This, my friend, is believism.

Look down to Acts 4:32, "And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common." Notice that those who were saved were those who believed. This, my friend, is believism.

Now notice Acts 8:13, "Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done." Simon believed and was baptized. This, my friend, is believism.

Now turn to Acts 10:45, "And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost." These Jews believed and were saved. This, my friend, is believism.

Now read Acts 11:17, "Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was, I that I could withstand God?" Notice the words, "who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ." This, my friend, is believism.

Now turn to Acts 11:21, "And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord." It says a great number believed and turned to the Lord. This, my friend, is believism.

Now read Acts 18:8, "And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized." Crispus was saved by believing, and many of the Corinthians were saved by believing, and they were immediately baptized. This, my friend, is believism.

Now turn to the following passages in John 3. John 3:15, "That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:18, "He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." John 3:36, "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." All of these, my friend, are believism.

The word "believe" is the Greek word which means "to depend upon" or "to roll up on." It means faith. What it means is trust. As this chapter is being dictated, I am on a 737 jet, flying to Chicago; in fact, we are close to making our approach at this time. I am totally relying on this airplane to get me to Chicago. That is believism. I believe it will get me there, and I am trusting it to do so. I am sitting in a seat on that airplane. All of my weight is now on this seat. I have just lifted my feet from the floor. I am trusting this seat to hold me up. When a person realizes he is a sinner, realizes he is lost, realizes Jesus has paid the price for his sins and was raised from the dead after three days and three nights, and relies upon that Saviour because of what He did to save him, he is saved! That, my friend, is believism.

The Biggest Threat To Christianity Today Is Taking Error And Heretics Lightly

2nd Corinthians 11:6, “But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things.” Titus 1:10-14, “For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake. One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies. This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.”

Please notice the last part of Titus 1:14b, “...commandments of men, that turn from the truth. WOW!!! The Bible teaches that the commandments of men turn people from THE TRUTH. Mark 7:9, “And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. This has always been man's problem! Eve rejected God's commandment not to eat the forbidden fruit, choosing rather to do her own thing, following the serpent's bad advice. We are surrounded by bad advice nowadays. Sadly, much of that bad advice and damnable heresy exists in corrupted Bible colleges and churches!

The teachings of man are in direct competition with the commandments of God! Do you know what the word “heresy” means? It means to have “an opinion”:

HERESY — ...“a choosing, choice”; (from haireomai, "to choose") then, "that which is chosen," and hence, "an opinion," especially a self-willed opinion, which is substituted for submission to the power of truth, and leads to division and the formation of sects...

SOURCE: “VINE'S COMPLETE EXPOSITORY DICTIONARY OF OLD AND NEW TESTAMENT WORDS”; ISBN 0-7852-1160-8

Any opinion that differs from God's opinion is HERESY! Romans 3:4, “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.”

Rebuking Pensacola Christian College (PCC) Sharply For Heresy

As an example of heresy, associate pastor Tim Zacharias at Pensacola Christian College's (PCC) 'Campus Church' is a doctrinal LIAR! Why do I say that? On July 14, 2021 at a Wednesday night Bible study, Pastor Zacharias said, and I quote: “Repentance is a change of mind which results in a change of behavior.” No Sir, that is NOT the free grace Gospel taught in the inspired King James Bible (1st Corinthians 15:1-4). I was personally sitting in the audience at Campus Church, sickened by what Dr. Zacharias was teaching.

We must stay true to the simplicity of the gospel (2nd Corinthians 11:3-4). Repentance regarding salvation is a change of mind from unbelief to belief!!! Must earnestly contend for the faith. Jude 1:3, "Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints." This is no trifle matter at PCC. When a pastor teaches thousands of church members and PCC students blatant heresy, it adversely affects the Kingdom of God. People cannot get saved from a corrupted plan of salvation!!! I love this powerful quote from one of my favorite preachers, Pastor Ralph Yankee Arnold:

“There is power in this Gospel message. Most people just don't know how to present it... The clarity of the Gospel is what makes it easy for them to believe.” —Pastor Yankee Arnold, a quote from the excellent MP3 sermon titled, “WHY GRACE CAN SAVE THE WORST MAN!

Dear reader, I love the Gospel of John. You can hear the entire Gospel of John in a little under 2 hours (1:53 hours). The Gospel of John is God's Gospel tract according to John 20:31, “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” If to “repent” means to forsake our sinful ways TO BE SAVED, but Jesus already paid for our sins by dying on the cross, then what are we repenting from? Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith.

"Any teaching that demands a change of conduct toward either God or man for salvation is to add works or human effort to faith, and this contradicts all Scripture and is an accursed message (Gal. 1:8-9; Deut. 27:18). Study the book of Galatians." —REPENTANCE, Pastor A. Ray Stanford, Chapter 6, HANDBOOK OF PERSONAL EVANGELISM

SOURCE: http://www.freegraceresources.org/pe06.html

Before salvation we are known by our sins, but after salvation we are identified with the righteousness of Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ took all our sin at the cross and now we have the privilege to have His righteous record placed on our account!

“If all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags, then why would you use those rags to prove that you're saved?” —Pastor Ralph 'Yankee' Arnold, sermon quote: “How Do I Know God Really Loves Me? - Part 2

Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) said these excellent words:

“Redemption is a work of God the Son. Regeneration is the work of God the Holy Spirit. Justification is the work of God the Father as He declares the sinner righteous in the Son. Conversion then becomes the work of the church as we change the use and purpose of a life.” SOURCE: Chapter 4 from "Enemies Of Soul Winning," titled: "Misunderstood Repentance."

Amen and amen! We've got a bunch of woefully ignorant pastors today, who have taken it upon themselves to change and corrupt God's simple plan of salvation, in an attempt to force people to turn from their sinful bad habits to go to Heaven. The truth, as Dr. Hyles just explained, is that God has delegated the responsibility of mentoring new converts to local New Testament churches. Part of The Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20 is to teach our converts the things of Christ.

Literally, we're supposed to indoctrinate our converts with THE TRUTH. Pastor have a Biblical duty to "PREACH THE WORD." 2nd Timothy 4:2, "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine." How often do we hear pastors rebuking false prophets? When I attended Campus Church at Pensacola Christian College for a few months, I never heard one word of rebuke against false doctrine or false teachers!

Pastor Redlin spoke Sunday after Sunday all summer about Man's relationship to God regarding work. It was interesting, but lacking the kind of preaching that we need today! Nearly every pastor hates Pastor Steven Anderson (and I don't agree with all his methods or teachings), but I LOVE THE GUY! Brother Anderson has the balls to say it like it is. He doesn't just rub the cat the wrong way, he skins it! Pastor Lester Roloff (1914-1982) rightly said: "We need porcupine preachers today, so people will get the point!" Amen and amen! Folks, time is running out. While Pastor Redlin is playing church and tickling ears, the world is going to Hell.

"Only one life, yes only one, Now let me say, “Thy will be done”; And when at last I’ll hear the call, I know I’ll say ’twas worth it all”; Only one life,’ twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last." —Missionary C.T. Studd

Sword Of The Lord editor Sheldon Smith made this awesome quote:

“Salvation is not our doing, but it is something that the Lord does. We put our trust in Christ, He is the One that saves us. And again I repeat: He rescues us, He ransoms us, He redeems us, He regenerates us. All of that we find out, simply by reading the Bible.” —Pastor Sheldon Smith, "Making A Difference" radio broadcast; May 14, 2021; "The Distinguishing Difference in the Christian Life - Part 10"

That is absolutely correct! The garbage being preached at Pensacola Christian College today, that says: "Repentance is a change of mind which results in a change of behavior," is NOT the Gospel of free grace! PCC is complicating the simplicity that is in Christ!!!

"It is true that we are sinners–but Christ has suffered for us. It is true that we deserve death–but Christ has died for us. It is true that we are guilty debtors–but Christ has paid our debts with His own blood. This is the real Gospel! This is the good news! On this let us lean while we live. To this let us cling when we die. Christ has been “lifted up” on the cross, and has thrown open the gates of heaven to all believers.” ~ J.C. Ryle

The true Gospel always points you to Christ; a false gospel always points to you. It's easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled. Having an audience with Christ because I stand for THE TRUTH, is far better than having the accolades of the crowd because of sinful compromise. I am standing ALONE, outside the gate with Jesus, while Jeff Redlin and Sean Quinlan bid Godspeed to Satan's Calvinist crowd at Bob Jones University (BJU). It is shameful what is going on at PCC today.

With the bad attitude that Pastor Redlin has, nothing will change at PCC. Sadly, he is training PCC's thousands of youth, which will render them impotent in the work of Christ. We've got a bunch of career-minded youth, well-mannered and knowledgeable about the Bible, doing nothing for God. They are sitting on the promises instead of standing on the promises, while the world goes to Hell. There is no real soulwinning program at PCC. I watched a man named Bill at the Lighthouse Baptist Church on Guam, totally abandon God because of the bad attitude of Pastor Sean Quinlan. These wicked pastors are doing major damage in people's lives, because they think God wants them to build churches without contending for the faith.

The true Gospel always points you to Christ; a false gospel always points to you. Somebody needs to explain that to Pastors' Zacharias and Redlin at Campus Church at PCC. Here is a screenshot that I captured from their Foundation's Class at Campus Church...

The Damnable Heresy Preached At
Pensacola Christian College On July 14, 2021

Sadly, it's easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled. Author Mark Twain said that, and he was so right! If as a pastor you are not guarding the flock against the heresies of Calvinism, misunderstood repentance and Lordship Salvation, you have NO RIGHT standing behind the pulpit and preaching every Sunday morning!

Anybody will ADD Jesus to their household deities, false religion or corrupt beliefs; but to be saved you must REPENT of your dead works, unbelief and BELIEVE only on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 16:30-31, “And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. That is the true meaning of repentance, from unbelief to belief! To be saved you've got to forsake your faith in Buddhism, Catholicism, Mother Mary, Zoroaster, Hara Krishna, Muhammad and religion, and believe ONLY on the Lord Jesus Christ. John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jesus didn't just show up to a corrupted Jewish nation, who had been rejecting the truth of God's Word for 1,000 years, and then say: "And now just add Me to your beliefs!” Jesus showed up and said: "You've got to abandon your idols and false gods and trust only in Me!" Titus 1:14, "Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth." John 3:20-21, "For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God." Carefully notice that the Bible does say "he that turns from his sins" comes to the light (the truth of the Gospel) to be saved; but rather, "he that doeth truth cometh to the light." That is amazing dear friend.

What saith the Scripture? 2nd Timothy 2:25-26, "In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will." Please notice again that the Holy Bible doesn't tell us to "repent of your sin" to be saved; but rather, "repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;" (2nd Timothy 2:25b). Repentance is simply admitting that you are as guilty a sinner as God hath declared you to be in His inspired Word.

One of my favorite preachers, Pastor Harry A. Ironside (1876-1951) rightly says:

"Repentance is the recognition of my sinnership—the owning before God that I am as vile as He has declared me to be in His holy Word."

SOURCE: Except Ye Repent, by Dr. Harry Ironside, chapter 3

That's it! That is all Bible repentance to be saved means, nothing more.

Beware of Misunderstood Repentance in churches today. You cannot show me even one place in the inspired King James Bible which says to repent "of your sin" for any reason. Salvation is by FAITH ALONE. Galatians 3:26, “For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. So how have thousands of pastors today become corrupted, foolishly teaching that you must also be willing to clean up your life of sin to be saved? They've been listening to other corrupt preachers and the Devil!

“Nobody goes to Heaven because he is good; you go to Heaven because you know you're bad, and you flee to Jesus Who died to save sinners.” —Pastor Jack Hyles (“God Only Saves Bad People”;

Rebuking Pastor James Knox For Preaching Heresy

Pastor James Knox is the long-time pastor of The Bible Baptist Church in Leland, Florida. I like James Knox. I have shared numerous of his excellent sermons over the decades. Sadly, he is wrong on Bible repentance for salvation.

Read the blatant heresy preached by Pastor Knox:

“Do you know why it's hard to know if people get saved or not anymore? It's because we've given them this option of salvation without repentance. You don't see a changed life, because no changed life was expected. No changed life was required. Look, you can stop drinking, stop cussing, stop chasing women, stop chasing men, stop chasing both—you can quit all that stuff and die and go to Hell—repentance is not the Gospel. But you're not going to come to God, without any sorry, any guilt, any acknowledgement, any desire, to do something about your sin. You're not going to get saved on those terms. Those are man's terms, not God's terms.” SOURCE: Pastor James Knox, Repent And Believe The Gospel: What Is Repentance?” (58:22 time in YouTube sermon video)

What do you mean, an "OPTION of salvation without repentance." Kindly said, Pastor Knox is woefully ignorant of the Biblical Greek meaning of the word "repent." Repentance regarding getting saved is always either the noun metanoia (a change of mind), or the verb metanoeo (to think differently). Repentance relating to the new birth NEVER means to “turn away from your sinful behavior, nor does it result in a change of behavior“” (as PCC heretical teaches) after you are saved. The problem is that many pastors fail to keep sanctification separate from justification. Pastor Jack Hyles does a wonderful job explaining this great truth in this classic Pastor's School sermon titled: "Steps In Sanctification; Or, The Root Of All Heresy."

Dear reader, Pastor Knox errantly teaches that a man repents first, and then he believes afterwards in time. That is unbiblical. The Bible teaches that the man who believes has repented. Dr. John R. Rice gets it right:

There are those hyper-dispensationalists who think that John the Baptist preached a different Gospel from Christ when he commanded repentance (Matt. 3:2). But it is the same repentance Jesus commanded in Matthew 4:17, in Luke 13:3 and 5, and the same repentance that Paul preached in Athens that God “now commandeth all men every where to repent” (Acts 17:30 31). Repentance is not a different plan of salvation from having faith: it is part of the same plan of salvation. Or rather repentance is simply another way of describing or looking at the plan of salvation. One who turns from sin to God has done so by trusting in Jesus Christ. A change of mind toward sin is necessarily involved in saving faith.

Everyone who genuinely repented under the preaching of John the Baptist put his trust in the Saviour John the Baptist preached, and was regenerated. There is no such thing as being “a disciple of John the Baptist” in any honest sense without being a disciple of Jesus, that is, without trusting Christ for salvation. [emphasis added]

Oh dear friend, that is so beautiful. Please don't miss it! It is heresy to tell someone to "repent of your sin" as a requirement to be saved. Brother Rice got it 100% correct. When you BELIEVE on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 16:30-31), trusting that He died on the cross in your place, was buried and bodily resurrected three days later (1st Corinthians 15:1-4), you are immediately, irrevocably and eternally saved (John 3:16). The person who believes HAS turned from their sin. John 3:20 says that hardened sinners WON'T come to Christ to be saved, lest their evil deeds should be reproved. John 3:20, “For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.”

So the problem takes care of itself. If a man desires to be saved, and comes to Christ by faith alone, Jesus promised never to turn any sinner away. John 6:37, “All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.” The only people who ever went away from Jesus empty-handed, was the self-righteous who were full of themselves! Luke 5:31, “And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.”

How Long Halt Ye Between Two Opinions?

1st Kings 18:21, And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions?  if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him.  And the people answered him not a word. There is an eerie silence in the PCC camp today regarding the Devil's false Bibles, the Devil's deadly Calvinism, and the Satanic Bob Jones University cult in Greenville, South Carolina!!! I feel like the Lone Ranger. But I know God will reward me for standing alone, because few fellow saints would stand with me against the error and falsehoods in our generation. I have tried (tested) the spirits as 1st John 4:1 teaches. I have found the PCC camp to be woefully lacking in concern over right doctrine!!!

All these ungodly pastors today, who are preaching that Jesus won't save you unless you're willing to turn away from sin, are lying and preaching a false gospel, because Christ promised He would never turn anyone away who comes to Him. John 6:37, All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.If you want to be saved Oh sinner, then simply BELIEVE the Gospel (i.e., the 'Good News') of Christ crucified, buried and physically risen the third day (1st Corinthians 15:1-4). Giving up your sins is NOT part of God's plan of salvation. Evangelist John R. Rice (1895-1980) said it very well:
Repentance is not a different plan of salvation from having faith: it is part of the same plan of salvation. Or rather repentance is simply another way of describing or looking at the plan of salvation. One who turns from sin to God has done so by trusting in Jesus Christ. A change of mind toward sin is necessarily involved in saving faith.

SOURCE: Evangelist John R. Rice, “Acts: Filled With The Spirit,” pp. 251-252; Sword Of The Lord, Murfreesboro, Tennessee; ©1963

Turning from sin is not an additional step to be saved. The person who comes to Jesus and BELIEVES on Him, has met every demand of our holy God to be saved. Nothing more is necessary or permitted by God. We are saved by FAITH ALONE. Pastor James Knox teaches that faith is insufficient without repenting. He fails to grasp that repentance is part of believing! It is a counterfeit gospel when preachers separate the act of repenting from believing. Repentance is the very change of mind that facilitates believing. James Knox preached a follow-up sermon about Repentance Without Salvation. But that is REFORMATION, not repentance!!!

It is important that we understand some terms:

  • Penitence - Sorrow for sin
  • Penance - Making a mend for sin
  • Reformation - Turning from sin
  • Repentance - a change of mind

God DOESN'T require penitence, penance or reformation to be saved. Sadly, way too many preachers today confuse these theological terms, failing to understand that Bible repentance is simply “a change of mind.” Repentance is a change of mind from unbelief to belief. A person may or may not feel sorrow over their sins. They may or may not desire to correct their wrongs. They may or may not be ready to forsake some pet sins. But friend, none of these virtues are required to receive God's FREE GIFT (Romans 5:15-18) of eternal life. Faith in the Good News of Jesus Christ crucified, buried and risen is all that is necessary to go to Heaven.

Judas knew he had sinned against an innocent man, Jesus. Judas felt sorry. Judas returned the 30 pieces of silver. Judas felt guilty:

Matthew 27:3-5, “Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that. And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.

The Bible says that Judas "repented." Huh, that's interesting. Yet we know Judas had a devil in him (John 6:70). The explanation is simple, what Judas experienced wasn't true repentance unto life; but rather, he merely felt sorrow and guilty afterwards for his sin. The Greek word for repented here is metamellomai (regret, sorrow for sin), which is NEVER used in relation to salvation. Judas repented of his sin and still went to Hell forever!!! Dear friend, you don't get saved by repenting, you get saved by BELIEVING ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST (Acts 16:30-31). But no one has ever believed who didn't repent, which simply means to admit your sinnership to God. You've got to know what you're being saved from!!!

But the heretical idea that you need to experience some radical kind of mental transformation, which compels you to start living a cleaner life of holiness instead of sin, is damnable false doctrine. The ONLY thing that changes when you get saved if that now God's Holy Spirit indwells (lives inside) you (Romans 8:9; 1st John 3:24). 2nd Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” That simply means that you now have God living inside you as His adopted child (John 1:12-13).

God saves a man, and then the Holy Spirit begins to work on changing him. When a child of God disobeys, our heavenly Daddy gets the belt out to chastise us (Hebrews 12:6-8). This is sanctification (John 17:17). We must always keep sanctification separate from justification. I love what one of my favorite preachers, Pastor Harry Ironside (1876-1951) says:

“The Gospel is not a call to repentance, or to amendment of our ways, to make restitution for past sins, or to promise to do better in the future. These things are proper in their place, but they do not constitute the Gospel; for the Gospel is not good advice to be obeyed, it is good news to be believed. Do not make the mistake then of thinking that the Gospel is a call to duty or a call to reformation, a call to better your condition, to behave yourself in a more perfect way than you have been doing in the past …

Nor is the Gospel a demand that you give up the world, that you give up your sins, that you break off bad habits, and try to cultivate good ones. You may do all these things, and yet never believe the Gospel and consequently never be saved at all.”

SOURCE: Harry A. Ironside, from the sermon: What Is The Gospel?
Amen and amen! Dear reader, I am set for the defence of the Gospel. I am sick and tired of being put down by the Bob Jones University (BJU) and Pensacola Christian College (PCC) crowd, because I am zealous about right doctrine!!! Proverbs 12:17, “He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit.” I was berated and humiliated at the Lighthouse Baptist Church on Guam, by Pastor Sean Quinlan, because I was zealous about the inspiration and accuracy of God's Word. Pastor Quinlan shamefully accused me of being “OBSSESSD about the Bible.” Buster, you better believe I am OBSSESSED about God's inspired and incorruptible Word!!! I am sheweth forth righteousness by speaking TRUTH!!!!!!! These other horrible pastors aren't worthy to shine my shoes, not because I am something more than a clump of dirt, but because I am preaching THE TRUTH for Jesus!!!

Jesus warned that NO MAN can serve God and mammon (wealth, a career). Luke 16:13, “No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” Pensacola Christian College (PCC) receives a lot of students from the Bob Jones University (BJU) crowd. Harvest Baptist Church on Guam is a cesspool of iniquity, full of BJU graduates. They send students back and forth to both BJU and PCC, and hire each other's alumni. They are all sinfully in bed together financially, making millions of dollars! The dire consequence of this is that right doctrine takes a backseat to making money. They would never admit such a shameful and sinful thing, but the proof of what I say is that PCC refuses to publicly expose the Calvinist Bob Jones crowd. Calvinism is of the Devil.

The biggest threat to Christianity today is pastors who don't care. Horrible pastors like Sean Quinlan, Tim Zacharias and Jeff Redlin are to blame for the deterioration of the churches today. Calvinist false prophets like Marty Herron, Ray Comfort, Paul Washer, John Piper, Adrian Rodgers, Chip Ingram, Charles Phelps, Steve Pettit, John MacArthur, Gary Walton and Sam Horn need to be exposed (Romans 16:17-18). Anybody who teaches a variation of Lordship Salvation is espousing damnable Calvinist theology.

Several thousand students at PCC are being adversely influenced by a cold-hearted, immature, uncaring, stuck-up, unloving and lukewarm pastor! I humbly speak to the shame of Pastor Jeff Redlin. I am just a rotten sinner redeemed by God's grace. Pastor Redlin falsely accused me in July of 2021 of "finding weaknesses" in preachers. No Sir, I "REBUKE THEM SHARPLY" as the Bible commands in Titus 1:10-14. I expose them because they preach another gospel accursed by God (Galatians 1:6-9). Jeff Redlin is not right with God to say what he did. Instead of contending for the Christian faith (Jude1:3), Pastor Redlin is wickedly bidding Godspeed to false prophets in the corrupt Bob Jones camp (2nd John 1:11). SHAME! SHAME!! SHAME!!!

I am a nobody, just some guy with a website. I AM A VOICE!!! But Jesus is precious and He is my blessed Savior!!! Revelation 3:2, Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.

The Wrath Of God

Romans 5:8-9, ”But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be SAVED FROM WRATH through him.”

The Bible teaches that God's WRATH abideth upon all Christ-rejecters. 2nd Thessalonians 1:8-9 warns us, “In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power.”

How much clearer could the Bible be concerning God's wrath upon the unsaved. Most people today have been taught misconceptions about God. Although God unconditionally loves all humanity, He is also angry with those who have refused to obey the Gospel of Jesus Christ. John 3:36, “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” God is angry with anyone who has said, “No,” to receiving Jesus as their personal Savior.

God is angry with the followers of Islam, a false religion which denies that Jesus is the Christ. God is angry with the followers of Judaism, a false religion which denies that Jesus is the Christ. The Word of God calls them all liars and antichrists. 1st John 2:22, “Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.” God is very angry with those sinners who refuse His offer of salvation through the redemptive work of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, Who paid our sin debt. God's offer to pardon man's iniquity on the basis of Christ's shed blood is a token of God's goodness, love and mercy. To reject such an offer, when we deserve to plunge immediately into the fires of Hell for our sins, is to spit on God's grace and tempt the hand of God.

Romans 2:5-6, “But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds.” The only escape from the holy wrath of God on Judgment Day (i.e., The Day of Wrath) is the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Romans 5:8-9, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.” Thank God the Father for the gift of His dear Son, Jesus Christ, Who paid our sin debt.

Matthew 5:45, “That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.” If God didn't unconditionally love wicked sinners, the ground would immediately open and swallow them all into Hell beneath. The Bible teaches that evil and unjust men enjoy the same blessings of the sun and rain as do the righteous. Oh, don't be fooled by your blessings in life friend, if you have not obeyed the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the wrath of a holy and vengeful God rests upon your head. You are a marked man, or woman. Your Stay Of Execution will eventually expire, you will perish in your sins, and you will suffer the wrath of God's fiery vengeance in the Lake of Fire. Revelation 20:14-15, “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” Is your name written in the Lamb's Book of Life?

It is tragic that so many preachers and Christians today idolize Jonathan Edwards powerful sermon, SINNERS IN THE HANDS OF ANGRY GOD. Please don't misunderstand me, it is a GREAT sermon, and one which every person in the world needs to hear today; but why do we have to go back to the 18th century to find a benchmark of Hell, fire and damnation sermons? Every preacher, pastor, televangelist and Bible teacher in America ought to be preaching the same message as Jonathan Edwards. Please read this brief excerpt from Jonathan Edwards' famous sermon, SINNERS IN THE HANDS OF AN ANGRY GOD...
“The God that holds you over the pit of Hell, much as one holds a spider, or some loathsome insect over the fire, abhors you, and is dreadfully provoked: His wrath towards you burns like fire; He looks upon you as worthy of nothing else, but to be cast into the fire; He is of purer eyes than to bear to have you in his sight; you are ten thousand times more abominable in His eyes, than the most hateful venomous serpent is in ours. You have offended Him infinitely more than ever a stubborn rebel did his prince; and yet it is nothing but His hand that holds you from falling into the fire every moment.

It is to be ascribed to nothing else, that you did not go to Hell the last night; that you was suffered to awake again in this world, after you closed your eyes to sleep. And there is no other reason to be given, why you have not dropped into Hell since you arose in the morning, but that God's hand has held you up. There is no other reason to be given why you have not gone to Hell, since you have sat here in the house of God, provoking His pure eyes by your sinful wicked manner of attending His solemn worship. Yea, there is nothing else that is to be given as a reason why you do not this very moment drop down into Hell.”

SOURCE: SINNERS IN THE HANDS OF AN ANGRY GOD! by Jonathan Edwards; preached in Enfield, Connecticut; July 8, 1741
Can you imagine Joel Osteen saying that to his congregation? Instead of 70,000 people attending his church every Sunday in Houston, Texas, he'd be preaching to empty seats! Can you imagine Pat Robertson saying something like that on TV?

Oh, if only preachers would once again warn sinners of the vengeful wrath of God and the frightening judgment to come. 2nd Corinthians 5:11, “Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.” If we as believers don't warn the unsaved of the judgment to come, then who will?

Here is an excellent quote from the mighty man of God, Dr. Lee Roberson (1909-2007), concerning eternal punishment:
“Somebody says, 'The thought of Hell is so horrible.' Well, my friend, so is cancer, so is tuberculosis, so is the grave. Someone said, 'I believe sin ought to be punished, but not for eternity.' That's your view, not God's.

Again another says, 'I don't believe in the wrath of God.' Then you don't believe your Bible. The Bible says the wrath of God abideth on the one who doesn't believe in Jesus Christ. He is lost forever.

Now, these things come to us out of the Word of God. The teaching of eternal punishment should give us a hatred for sin. We ought to hate sin. The reason we have changed so much in this day in all of our churches is that we are not hearing much on this subject. Therefore, we endorse sin. We engage in sin. We camouflage the sin in our lives and allow things to go by, instead of hating sin as God wants us to hate sin . . .

The teaching of eternal punishment should give us a passion for the souls of men.”

Thank God for those few preachers today who do still faithfully preach the word. Thank God for those faithful preachers over the past century, Evangelist Billy Sunday (1862-1935), Pastor Dwight L. Moody (1837-1899), Pastor Harry Ironside (1876-1951), Dr. R.G. Lee (1886-1978), Dr. John R. Rice (1895-1980), Dr. Curtis Hutson (1934-1995), Dr. Jack Hyles (1926-2001) and other mighty men of God over the past century who have carried the mantle of God's Word.

The Biblical doctrine and reality of God's wrath has been abandoned in America's pulpits. Psalm 7:11, “God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.”

Shame On Pastor Jeff Redlin At PCC's Compromised 'Campus Church'

Revelation 3:14-19, "And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent."

When I first moved from Guam to Pensacola in July of 2021, I decided to go visit the famous Pensacola Christian College (PCC). I attended their 'Campus Church' on the property of PCC, whose shameful senior pastor is Jeff Redlin. I came to learn quickly that Jeff Redlin is a cold-hearted person, indifferent toward error, a Christian fake, and an arrogant snob who only cares about his salary. As I found out, Redlin selectively chooses who to care about. That is not a true man of God!

When I shared my broken life with Pastor Redlin, he treated me like garbage. When I mentioned that I was divorced and hoping to remarry, he mistreated me in his self-righteousness as his wife stood right next to him. If I had my way, he'd never see his wife again. I'd let him see what pain feels like, and to have some haughty pastor crap on him the same as he does to hurting people. Sadly, I quickly came to the realization that Pastor Redlin is a shallow man, full of selfishness and pride, who isn't qualified to be a pastor, let alone lead a giant place like Campus Church. I couldn't believe how small are Redlin's mind and heart! What a pathetic little man. Campus Church needs to fire him and bring in a genuine man of God who cares about right doctrine, who is not indifferent toward error, and who loves people.

God will not bless a church who has a pastor that doesn't care about everyone. Campus Church is growing only because of apostasy. They are a swelling, rotting, corpse! With the economy tanking, parents want their children to secure a career that will guarantee their financial prosperity. So PCC is in the secular business today of providing careers for money-hungry youth, all in the name of "Jesus." PCC offers courses to become a nurse, a businessman, law enforcement, engineering, computer science, et cetera. Sadly, PCC's focus is not to train church builders and full-time Christian workers to serve in the churches, which Hyles-Anderson College did when I attended there from 1985-1993. PCC is a toilet compared to Hyles-Anderson College, even today!!!

Jeff Redlin is not right with God. I was sickened when he was selling a course for $10 to anybody who wanted to learn how to witness with the Gospel more affectively. Campus Church finished 2020 with $1,200,000 in the bank. They gave $600,000 to their partner's in crime at PCC. Then kept $600,000 for themselves in the bank. Then they charge church members $10 each to learn how to share the Gospel. Jeff Redlin is an ungodly man who just wants your money! These men fear the funds drying up, instead of trusting God, so they have to sell everything. That is not faith, it is greed and wickedness, a den of thieves!

Jeff Redlin disrespected my ministry, so now I choose to expose him, since he is the one who needs to be exposed. Pastor Redlin sinfully and wrongly accused me of "finding weaknesses" in preachers. He is a dirty liar! The truth is that I "REBUKE THEM SHAPLY" who subvert whole households with a Calvinist false gospel, which the entire Bob Jones University crowd does today. Read what their damned cult leader Dr. Steve Pettit teaches for yourself!!! This is horrifying!!! Jeff Redlin and company sinfully bid Godspeed to evildoers. 2nd John 1:11, "For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds." Pastor Jeff Redlin needs to get his wicked heart right with God at PCC, and stop sanctioning the hellbound BJU camp!

When I attended Campus Church, I heard associate pastor Tim Zacharias preach another gospel at a Wednesday night Bible study. These wicked false prophets don't care!!! I heard Dr. Zacharias say, and I quote verbatim: "Repentance is a change of mind resulting in a change of behavior." LIARS!!! Bible repentance is simply a "change of mind," nothing more. We repent (change our mind) to BELIEVE the Gospel to be saved, period. What must we change our mind about? That's easy, whatever is hindering you from coming to Christ by faith. There is only one thing that keeps anybody from getting saved, which is unbelief. Repentance is simply changing one's mind from unbelief to belief.

When I kindly contacted Pastor Redlin about this blatant heresy, like a total sniveling coward Redlin 100% defended Tim Zacharias. These men are afraid to go against each other. They are afraid to preach against the Calvinist Bob Jones University crowd. When I confronted Pastor Sean Quinlan at the Lighthouse Baptist Church on Guam (he works at PCC now), Quinlan said it was none of our business what BJU does. What a coward! Folks, if you think damnable heresy being preached to thousands of our young people at BJU is none of your business, you are not right with God. The Bible says in Titus 1:10-13 to "REBUKE THEM SHARPLY" that they might be sound in the faith. But Jeff Redlin and Tim Zacharias, and the wicked leaders at PCC, would rather play sports with them, hire each other to work on staff, share and work together, making money instead of faithfully contending for the faith.

SHAME on Jeff Redlin!!! SHAME on Tim Zacharias!!! Shame on Pensacola Christian College for hiring and supporting such compromised and uncaring fools as Pastor Jeff Redlin. He wanted an enemy and now Jeff has one. Redlin is an enemy of Jesus Christ, because he hobnobs with ungodly false teachers who corrupt the Gospel and corrupt God's inspired Word. I will expose any false prophet! That is what God commands every believer to do in Ephesians 5:10-11, "Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them."

I will expose anyone (in this case PCC) who bids Godspeed to false prophets. The Bob Jones camp are Satanic today, promoting the Devil's corruptible seed, and preaching another gospel of deadly Calvinism. Why doesn't Jeff Redlin give a damn? The Bible tells us the answer:

1st Timothy 6:10-12, "For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses."

Carefully notice in verse 12 that the Bible says to "FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH." That is exactly what I am doing, while fools like Pastor Jeff Redlin kowtow, hobnob and play with deadly snakes in the Calvinist BJU camp. I have preached against the wicked Harvest Baptist Church on Guam since 2014 because they preach another gospel (Lordship Salvation) and not a free grace Gospel. They need to be exposed!!! Their new pastor, Gary Walton, is a die-hard fan of BJU, broadcasting Dr. Steve Pettit's BJU chapel services throughout Micronesia, damning people's souls to Hell with a Calvinist false plan of salvation. The Japanese invasion of Guam was a Sunday School picnic, compared to the burning Hell that awaits thousands of Micronesian who take heed to Steve Pettit's damnable doctrines!!!

Am I such a bad guy for caring enough to TELL THE TRUTH? Pastor Redlin is a fool. I say that on the authority of the Holy Scripture. The Apostle Paul called the Galatians "fools" in Galatians 3:3-1, because they played with the rattlesnake of sin, bidding Godspeed to doctrines of devils, just like PCC is sinfully doing today, bidding Godspeed to BJU. They only care about making money, which means avoiding offending their accomplices in the Bible college racket in America. Harvest Baptist Church on Guam sends students to PCC, and they make LOTS OF MONEY from the BJU camp. So instead of exposing their false gospel, PCC ignores the problem and pretends like all is well. Well, dammit, all is not well.

God's curse is upon the Bob Jones camp (both their university and all their graduates who support them today), for perverting the Gospel of free grace. Dear friend. THIS IS NOT FREE GRACE!!! The $64,000 question is: Do you care as much as God does? I care, because God cares. Galatians 1:6-9 warns every Christian about getting mixed up with another gospel, which the Bible says is NOT another gospel. What is wrong with Pastor Jeff Redlin? What is wrong with the leadership at Pensacola Christian College (PCC) today?

Why am I am the only one who seems to give a damn, while BJU and PCC laugh in my face continually. They think my preaching on my website ministry is a cute joke, a novelty, some nut who takes things too seriously. We'll see won't we! Yes, we will. I long for the day when Jeff Redlin is humiliated by God, because he rebuked me for telling THE TRUTH, instead of rebuking the God damned Bob Jones University cult today! You also must choose sides dear reader. I am on the side of Jesus and truth, but Jeff Redlin and the BJU camp are on the side of error! RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!!

The NKJV: A Deadly Translation

Proverbs 30:5-6, “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.”
The following excellent defense of the Christian faith is by Pastor James L. Melton:
We will now give some special attention to one of the deadliest translations on the market--the New King James Version, first published in 1979. It is a deadly version because it's editors have succeeded in deceiving the body of Christ on two main points: (1) That it's a King James Bible (which is a lie), and (2) that it's based on the Textus Receptus (which is only a partial truth). The following information should be helpful when dealing with Christians who have been swindled by the Laodicean lovers of filthy lucre:
  1. The text of the NKJV is copyrighted by Thomas Nelson Publishers, while there is no copyright today on the text of the KJV. If your KJV has maps or notes, then it may have a copyright, but the text itself does not.
  2. There's nothing "new" about the NKJV logo. It is a "666" symbol of the pagan trinity which was used in the ancient Egyptian mysteries. It was also used by Satanist Aleister Crowley around the turn of this century. The symbol can be seen on the New King James Bible, on certain rock albums (like Led Zeppelin's), or you can see it on the cover of such New Age books as The Aquarian Conspiracy. (See Riplinger's tract on the NKJV.)
  3. It is estimated that the NKJV makes over 100,000 translation changes, which comes to over eighty changes per page and about three changes per verse! A great number of these changes bring the NKJV in line with the readings of such Alexandrian perversions as the NIV and the RSV. Where changes are not made in the text, subtle footnotes often give credence to the Westcott and Hort Greek Text.
  4. While passing off as being true to the Textus Receptus, the NKJV IGNORES the Receptus over 1,200 times.
  5. In the NKJV, there are 22 omissions of "hell", 23 omissions of "blood", 44 omissions of "repent", 50 omissions of "heaven", 51 omissions of "God", and 66 omissions of "Lord". The terms "devils", "damnation", "JEHOVAH", and "new testament" are completely omitted.
  6. The NKJV demotes the Lord Jesus Christ. In John 1:3, the KJV says that all things were made "by" Jesus Christ, but in the NKJV, all things were just made "through" Him. The word "Servant" replaces "Son" in Acts 3:13 and 3:26. "Servant" replaces "child" in Acts 4:27 and 4:30. The word "Jesus" is omitted from Mark 2:15, Hebrews 4:8, and Acts 7:45.
  7. The NKJV confuses people about salvation. In Hebrews 10:14 it replaces "are sanctified" with "are being sanctified", and it replaces "are saved" with "are being saved" in I Corinthians 1:18 and II Corinthians 2:15. The words "may believe" have been replaced with "may continue to believe" in I John 5:13. The old straight and "narrow" way of Matthew 7:14 has become the "difficult" way in the NKJV.
  8. In II Corinthians 10:5 the KJV reads "casting down imaginations", but the NKJV reads "casting down arguments". The word "thought", which occurs later in the verse, matches "imaginations", not "arguments". This change weakens the verse.
  9. The KJV tells us to reject a "heretick" after the second admonition in Titus 3:10. The NKJV tells us to reject a "divisive man". How nice! Now the Alexandrians and Ecumenicals have justification for rejecting anyone they wish to label as "divisive men".
  10. According to the NKJV, no one would stoop so low as to "corrupt" God's word. No, they just "peddle" it (II Cor. 2:17). The reading matches the Alexandrian versions.
  11. Since the NKJV has "changed the truth of God into a lie", it has also changed Romans 1:25 to read "exchanged the truth of God for the lie". This reading matches the readings of the new perversions, so how say ye it's a King James Bible?
  12. The NKJV gives us no command to "study" God's word in II Timothy 2:15.
  13. The word "science" is replaced with "knowledge" in I Timothy 6:20, although "science" has occurred in every edition of the KJV since 1611! How say ye it's a King James Bible?
  14. The Jews "require" a sign, according to I Corinthians 1:22 (and according to Jesus Christ - John 4:48), but the NKJV says they only "request" a sign. They didn't "request" one when signs first appeared in Exodus 4, and there are numerous places throughout the Bible where God gives Israel signs when they haven't requested anything (Exo. 4, Exo. 31:13, Num. 26:10, I Sam. 2:34, Isa. 7:10-14, Luke 2:12, et cetera). They "require" a sign, because signs are a part of their national heritage.
  15. The King James reading in II Corinthians 5:17 says that if any man is in Christ he is a new "creature", which matches the words of Christ in Mark 16:15. The cross reference is destroyed in the NKJV, which uses the word "creation."
  16. As a final note, we'd like to point out how the NKJV is very inconsistent in it's attempt to update the language of the KJV. The preface to the NKJV states that previous "revisions" of the KJV have "sought to keep abreast of changes in English speech", and also that they too are taking a "further step toward this objective". However, when taking a closer look at the language of the NKJV, we find that oftentimes they are stepping BACKWARDS! Please note a few examples of how well the NKJV has "kept abreast of the changes in the English language":

Ten Popular Myths In Churches Today

Acts 17:10-11, “And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. There are many "myths" in the churches today. I just wanted to write to give you some more ideas for articles, if you want to look into them:

  1. "Repent of sins" to be saved myth. Not one verse in the King James Bibles teaches to repent "of your sins" to be saved. Christ came to save us from our sins. We repent (change of mind) from unbelief to belief to be saved. It is a manmade myth. Eternal life is a free gift. Believers should turn from sin, but not to be saved.
  2. Tithing 10%. Not one verse in the New Testament teaches for Christians to tithe 10%. It is a myth. Pastors have been lying to people for centuries about tithing.
  3. Miners in Russia digging into Hell. I have a sermon by a famous pastor of a mega Baptist church, telling his congregation about Russian miners who digged into Hell and recorded people screaming. It is a myth.
  4. The Roman Catholic church has many myths. Mary being born of a virgin (i.e., her immaculate conception). Mary living a sinless life. Mary remaining a perpetual virgin. Mary being taken into Heaven bodily without experiencing death (i.e., The assumption of Mary). These are four blatant myths.
  5. The modern Bible revisions are myths in many cases. They add things that are not found in "any" original texts. This YouTube video will blow your mind about Westcott and Hort.
  6. The teaching of the "Shekinah Glory" is a popular myth in churches today. Preachers have been deceived to think the term refers to God's presence over the Ark of the Covenant, but it is an occult term which refers to the female aspect of God (SHE-kinah). There is no mention in the Bible about "Shekinah." There is information online to verify the pagan roots of the term. Pagan Judaism has crept into the churches.
  7. 'Good Friday' is a myth. The Bible says Christ died, was buried and raised up three days later. We know from John 20:1 that it was still dark when Christ resurrected, on "The first day of the week" (Sunday). So to add up to three days, it means Jesus must have been crucified on Wednesday evening, not Friday. It is a myth. The Jewish day then began at 6 pm.
  8. Religious Zionism is a myth. Not one verse in the Bible teaches that Christians are commanded to help unsaved Jews to receive God's blessing. I heard a Baptist pastor in New York foolishly say that he wanted to send his church members to share the Gospel with Jews, so that God would bless their church; as if witnessing to African Americans wouldn't bring God's blessing! John the Baptist rebuked the arrogant Jews in Matthew 3:9, "And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham." John rebuked the proud Jewish Pharisees, letting them know that God could raise up rocks for children. Galatians 3:26-29 plainly teaches that every saved person is a spiritual Jew. Romans 2:28, "For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:" It is a myth that unsaved biological, national, ethnic or cultural Jews have some special right, privilege or entitlement from God. They don't! It is a myth.
  9. Pastoral authority is a myth. I know some pastors who believe they have Biblical authority over people. The only authority in a church is the inspired Word of God. Pastors are supposed to lead by example as a humble servant, feeding and watching over the Lord's sheep for their spiritual and other needs, leading them from the front by godly influence, not pushing them from the rear as a dictator. When men usurp church authority, it often becomes abusive and cultish.
  10. A young earth is a myth. Here are some helpful resources refuting a Young Earth:
There is no scientific evidence of a young earth. Pastor Max Younce in the preceding links does an excellent job refuting the fallacy of a young earth. Dinosaurs lived millions of years ago, just as science evidences. The Bible teaches a very old earth, but the human race can be dated to approximately 6,000 BC. An old earth principle in no way contradicts or disproves the Bible, quite the contrary. I agree with Dr. Younce that the commonly referred to "Gay Theory" is not a theory, it is the "Gap Principle." The Hebrew words used in Genesis chapter one clearly indicate that the earth is very old, which Dr. Younce explains in detail in his helpful free online book: "THE TRUTH ABOUT EVOLUTION; DON’T LET SATAN MAKE A MONKEY OUT OF YOU!" (see link above).

God bless you dear reader, I hope these ten ideas are interesting and helpful to you. So many of the common things that we accept as Christians are false. Thank you for you blog. Merry Christmas!

A Dear Black Man Saved My Life Many Years Ago

1st Samuel 14:45, And the people said unto Saul, Shall Jonathan die, who hath wrought this great salvation in Israel?  God forbid: as the LORD liveth, there shall not one hair of his head fall to the ground; for he hath wrought with God this day.  So the people rescued Jonathan, that he died not.

In the Old Testament, king Saul made a big mistake one day. He had sworn a public oath that if any man of Israel eats food, before the king defeated the Philistines in battle, that person would be cursed. Well, Saul's son Jonathan didn't hear about his father's oath. The people were weary from the fighting and retreated into some woods, where they found a honeycomb. Since Jonathan hadn't heard about Saul's oath, he innocently ate some of the honeycomb.
1st Samuel 14:26-27, “And when the people were come into the wood, behold, the honey dropped; but no man put his hand to his mouth: for the people feared the oath. But Jonathan heard not when his father charged the people with the oath: wherefore he put forth the end of the rod that was in his hand, and dipped it in an honeycomb, and put his hand to his mouth; and his eyes were enlightened.”
When king Saul found out that his son broke the oath, he wanted to kill Jonathan:
1st Samuel 14:43-45, “Then Saul said to Jonathan, Tell me what thou hast done.  And Jonathan told him, and said, I did but taste a little honey with the end of the rod that was in mine hand, and, lo, I must die. And Saul answered, God do so and more also: for thou shalt surely die, Jonathan. And the people said unto Saul, Shall Jonathan die, who hath wrought this great salvation in Israel?  God forbid: as the LORD liveth, there shall not one hair of his head fall to the ground; for he hath wrought with God this day.  So the people rescued Jonathan, that he died not.”

I'll bet Jonathan found a new love for those dear people. Let me tell you! It's not every day that someone saves your life from being killed.

I am glad to say that I also know the inexplicable feeling of joy and gratitude, toward someone who saved my life years ago. As I remember it, it was around 1991 in Chicago. I believe it was in 1991 or 1992. I was changing a defective engine starter on a Ford Tornado, which was a front wheel drive car. All the weight was in the front, where the engine and transmission are. I jacked up the heavy vehicle and did use jack stands. But I made a nearly fatal mistake, I didn't lower the weight of the car onto the jack stands. So when a pebble jammed under the wheel of the creeper board that I was laying on, and I grabbed the side of the car to pull myself free of the pebble, I caused the car to topple the jack stands over and fall on me. Oh my God in Heaven, what had I just done!

I had thousands of pounds crushing down upon me, and I was on a creeper, gasping for breath. I still have nightmares to this day thinking about this horrific accident. I caused it to happen, in my utter ignorance and not paying attention to what I was doing. I couldn't breath. No one was around. This was in a secluded neighborhood, in front of the rescue mission where I voluntarily helped my father for eight years as his assistant pastor. I was getting ready to faint, unable to breath, screaming as loud as I could: “Help me! Please, help me! I am trapped! Help, help, please help!” My panicking cries were blood curling, the screams of a desperate man about to die under the crushing weight of a massive car! I was trapped and time was running out. After 30 more seconds I would have blacked out and died.

But praise be to God, it wasn't yet my time to go. A dear older black man, I'd guess about 50 years old, came over to help me. There was no other soul in sight anywhere around. His hands were trembling, shaken by my horrifying cries for help. He didn't know what to do. I realized that if I didn't calm down and explain to him exactly what to do, I was about to die. Even if someone had called 911, I would have been long dead by the time help came. I explained as calmly as I good, while gasping for lack of air because of the crushing weight of the vehicle on top of me. I told him to take the jack handle and turn the screw on the jack clockwise, and then jack up the car. There never was a man who felt more thankful and relieved as that 4,000 pound car was lifted off of my chest.

I shudder in horror just thinking about it. I had a wife and four little children at the time, who were all under 5 years old. It pains my soul to think about what would have happened to my wife and children, had that precious black man not been there that fateful day in my life. Was it solely a matter of time and chance that that black man was nearby (Ecclesiastes 9:11), or was God looking out for me, protecting me because He still had work for me to do. I honestly do not know dear friend. Some things we just cannot know, and we'll have to ask God when we get to Heaven. To this day I refuse to ever get under a car again! No matter what happens, I will not crawl under a car, terrified by the trauma that I suffered and still suffer in my soul.

I went to the hospital after the car fell on me, for x-rays. They said that nothing was broken, but I came close to dying. The next morning my entire chest and abdomen were as black, blue and yellow as anything I have ever seen. My entire upper body was black and blue from damaged veins that had burst under extreme pressure from the weight of the vehicle. I literally cried while trying to rise up out of bed. I just couldn't get up. So I had to turn to the side slowly, and take plenty of time, before I was able to stand up. It was so horrible and painful. It took me over one month to heal.

For the life of me I don't know the name of the black man who saved me, but I love him so much for rescuing me that day. I was thinking about that dear man today, praying for him if he is still alive (I have no idea), telling the Lord as I often do that if he is in Heaven, everything I own in Heaven is his too! If it weren't for that man's responsible attitude, to help another human being in need, I wouldn't be writing this blog right now. I wouldn't have been able to raise my children, and provide for my wife, and enjoy my family over the decades.

If it weren't for that blessed African American man who saved my life that fateful day in the early 1990's, there would be no Jesus-is-Savior.com website ministry. There would be no Soulwinning.info or Jesusisprecious.org, et cetera. I just started two new websites called: Faithalonesaves.org and Believeonjesuschrist.com. I couldn't believe that this domain name was still not already taken! Ha ha, it's mine!!! Each website is another VOICE for God to reach the lost, and to inspire and feed Jesus' sheep. I am just a humble sinner, who is allowing God to work through me as an ambassador for God to the world. God wants every Christian to be His ambassador (2nd Corinthians 5:20-21). You are the only Jesus that someone knows!

As you can imagine, I love black people! I loved them before a black man saved my life 30 years ago, but I love them even more today, knowing that a black man (who for umpteen reasons could have just ignored my pleas for help, in revenge for how whites have mistreated blacks for centuries in America). But he did the right thing to save my life, and I am forever grateful to that unsung hero. I don't even know who he is, but God does. I know that he attended our churches services at the Grace Mission Church in Chicago, which no longer exists. Here is some pictures of the mission...

Christmas At The Rescue Mission

Here are some more photos of my childhood and life in Rescue Mission Work. The need is great no matter where we turn in the big cities of America. Jesus said that the poor and homeless would always be with us. If we don't help them, who will? Jesus said in Matthew chapter 6 that we should lay up for ourselves treasures in Heaven, by giving to the poor, fasting and praying to accomplish God's work on earth. God is great! Just like in Bible times, the problem today is a lack of faith in believers. We've become apathetic, indifferent and complacent in our churches. Today's corrupt Bible colleges and churches have turned God's free gift of eternal life into a reward for the righteous, instead of a gift for the guilty!

Dear friend, there is someone who saved you too! That man's precious name is JESUS!!! All mankind are sinners, both by nature and by choice. The Bibles says that we have all earned wages for our sin, which is to be punished in Hell for all eternity. But God in His wondrous love made a way of escape, by sending His only begotten Son into the world, to die on a cruel and lonely cross for the sins of all humanity. Jesus rescued the human race! As much as I appreciate that black man who saved my life that frightening day around 1991, I am even more thankful to Jesus for saving me from a burning Hell forever and ever without hope!!!

Thank God for saviors and most of all for THE SAVIOR!!!
