Proverb 13:7, “There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing: there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches.” Proverb 16:8, “Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.” Proverb 22:1, “A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.” Psalm 84:10, “For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. One of the wealthiest celebrities of our generation is a man named Chaim Witz (born 1949), better known by fans as Gene Simmons of the rock band KISS. The mind blowing photo below is Gene Simmons California mansion where he has lived for the past 36 years. Due to the insanely high California taxes, Simmons has finally had enough, moving to Washington state where there is no sales or income tax. Gene and Shannon Simmons' new home is a 16,000 square feet mansion near Mount Rainer in Washington. Sadly, Mr. Simmons is infamous for having fornicated with at least 4,000 women, showing not even the least amount of regret nor shame for his sins. Hebrews 13:4, “Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.” I am not condemning Gene. I am just as much a sinner as Gene or any other human being. Ecclesiastes 7:20, “For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.”
James 2:10 says to break even one of God's commandments makes us guilty of breaking ALL of them. James 2:10, “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.” That is because committing even one sin makes us guilty, and only 100% perfect people can go to Heaven. So whether you are Gene Simmons who has bedded thousands of loose women, or you are a sweet grandma whose worst sins are gossip and lying about a recipe she stole—neither of these people can go to Heaven. That is why God sent Jesus into the world. 1st John 4:9, “In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.” What a beautiful Bible verse!!!
The World Is The Enemy Of Jesus Christ
James 4:4, “Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.” The Beatles are God's enemies. They are enemies to the cause of Jesus Christ. Gene Simmons is God's enemy. So also are the other band members. I did not say they are bad people. I think Paul Stanley is a good man. I follow his Twitter account, curious about his life as a musician. Paul donates millions of dollars to charity to help suffering children. Sadly, Paul and Gene are Jewish in their faith, and not born-again Christians. Jesus plainly told Nicodemus (a Jew) in John 3:3b, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” There are no special exceptions!
Dear reader, this life will be over before we know it. George Harrison (1943-2001) of The Beatles is in eternity. John Lennon (1940-1980) of The Beatles is in eternity. Where did these men go? I am fully convinced that George went to Hell, because he followed false religion. There is no evidence that he died in the Lord. Everyone will either “DIE IN YOUR SINS” (John 8:24b) or you will “DIE IN THE LORD” (Revelation 14:13b). My mother died in the Lord in August of 2001. My father died in the Lord in 2010. My turn is next, whenever my time is up, and I know that I will DIE IN THE LORD, because I received Jesus as my personal Savior in 1980 at age 13. If you don't absolutely KNOW you are saved, you can and should know for certain. I know without a shadow of a doubt that I am saved and secure in the Lord's promise “TO SAVE THEM THAT BELIEVE” (1st Corinthians 1:21b).
There is a conflicting correlation between loving the world and getting saved. You don't have to stop committing any particular sin to receive God's free gift of eternal life (Romans 6:23). Eternal life is a free gift (Romans 5:15-18), which Jesus fully paid for with His precious blood (1st Peter 1:18-19). However, we read in 1st John 2:15-17 and elsewhere in the Holy Scriptures, that everyone who LOVES THE WORLD won't come to THE LIGHT OF THE TRUTH OF THE GOSPEL to be saved, lest their sins should be reproved (spoken evil of). John 3:20, “For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”
That is what repentance is, where a man acknowledges THE TRUTH that he is guilty sinner in God's sight (2nd Timothy 2:25-26; Romans 3:19-20), thus believing THE TRUTH of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ he is saved (Acts 16:30-31). Repentance is NOT turning from one's sins, it is thinking differently toward God (Acts 20:21), so that a man agrees with God that he is a sinner in desperate need of the dear Savior (Galatians 3:24-26). That is why we read in John 3:21, “But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.” Carefully notice that the Bible doesn't say HE THAT TURNS FROM SIN comes to the light. No, the Bible says HE THAT DOETH TRUTH cometh to the light.
So in summary, you DON'T need to give up anything to be saved. God wants to give you something, eternal life. God's only begotten Son Jesus paid for it on the cross with His blood. Salvation is received, not achieved. You cannot impress God in any way to get to Heaven. You and I are guilty sinners. GUILTY! GUILTY! GUILTY! All of us are included in the indictment of humanity found in Romans 3:10-23 in the New Testament. There is a penalty for the wages of our sins, which is DEATH (Romans 6:23). Not only physical death, but the eternal second death in the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:11-15; 21:8). Thankfully, Romans 5:6-9 tells us that “CHRIST DIED FOR THE UNGODLY.”
Anyone, no matter how sinful they may be, who humbles himself at the cross of Jesus Christ, believing that JESUS died on the cross to pay their debt of sin, JESUS was buried, and three days later JESUS physically resurrected from the dead is saved (1st Corinthians 15:1-6). JESUS IS FOREVER RISEN!!! Do you believe it friend? Do you believe the 'GOOD NEWS' (Gospel) that I just preached to you. Believe it and you are saved. That is the ONLY work a person can do to get to Heaven. John 6:28-29, “Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.”
Gene Simmons Has Everything And Yet He Has Nothing
Gene Simmons has a staggering net worth of $400,000,000. Gene is one of few people who has an extraordinary long tongue length. Simmons is infamous for his perversion, dirty mind, and offensive filthy body gestures during rock concerts. He dresses up like a demon while singing and playing bass, which is the actual name of his character. Simmons co-founded the band KISS in 1973, which is still performing in 2021. As a musician and music fan myself, I view rock music differently than many Christians do. I do see that it is sinful, but I am also able to appreciate and analyze the structure of the music.
I was never a KISS fan in my youth, but I liked a few songs like 'Tears Are Falling' and especially their 1995 'Unplugged' album, which was acoustic. 'I'm Coming Home' is a nice song. 'Hard Luck Woman' is my favorite, musically speaking. I love melody and harmony in songs. Paul Stanley of KISS has a very beautiful voice. I like this 1965 song by Smokey Robinson And The Miracles called, 'Tracks Of My Tears,' as sang by Paul Stanley. I am impressed how well Paul sings this song. I think Paul Stanley sings the song better than Smokey Robinson does. I am not endorsing the music of KISS. They are wicked men in God's sight (Psalms 7:11). Albeit, I like all kinds of music. I THANK GOD that I am a born-again believer. Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley are already 70 years old. They are closer to the end of life than the start. That is true of myself as well; I just turned 54 years old.
The $64,000 question is: Where will you spend eternity? You can go to Heaven absolutely for free. Gene Simmons can be forgiven of all his woeful sins in a second, simply by trusting in the only begotten Son of God to forgive His sins. Acts 10:43, “To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.” Apart from being born-again by faith alone in Christ alone, Simmons will split Hell wide open the moment he passes into eternity. His $400,000,000 net worth won't be able to buy him eternal life. Steve Jobs died a Buddhist without Jesus Christ, leaving behind a staggering $10,200,000,000 in wealth. According to the King James Bible, Steve Jobs went to Hell forever as a Buddhist. I didn't say that, the Bible does. Revelation 20:14-15, “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
I did not write this article to criticize anyone, God knows my heart. I saw that giant $22,000,000 beautiful mansion, and praised God that I am His redeemed child. Oh it is wonderful to be a Christian! I also hate all the religious phonies, church greed and formal organized religion that drives people away from God. The lost world sees all that garbage and consequently fails to see God's goodness, love and truth. The world is going to Hell because of the love of money in the churches today (Luke 16:13). If America has any hope of ever being salvaged for God, we need a whole new generation of preachers who don't care about money. We need a generation of called preachers in the pulpit, not career-minded pastors merely pursuing a profession. America needs preaching preachers!!!
I only wrote this blog to get people saved. That's all. I want you to go to Heaven. It's completely free, so why not. You don't have to give up anything to be saved, God gave His only begotten Son to die on the cross to pay your sin debt (and mine). Eternal life is a gift to anyone who will comes to Christ as a guilty sinner. God only saves BAD SINNERS!!! The only thing that qualifies anyone for salvation is the sin that made it necessary. So if you say, “But I am a horrible sinner. You don't know the things I've done. God would never save someone like me!” Oh yes dear friend, God can and will save you. In fact, you are exactly who Jesus came into the world to die for... SINNERS! What saith the Scripture? ...
Romans 5:6-9, “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”
The dirtier and worse of a sinner you are, the more Christ died for YOU! Christ died for THE UNGODLY, so the more ungodly you are, the more you can relish in being the object of God's great love dear friend. You are loved friend. You truly are. God loves you. God is loving you right now, by preaching THE TRUTH through me as His child. I am showing you how you can have eternal life, freely, just for the taking. All you have to do is acknowledge that you are a needy sinner in God's sight (Romans 3:19), and BELIEVE on the name of Jesus Christ as your Savior (Acts 16:30-31; Galatians 3:26). 1st Timothy 6:7, “For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.”
