People Curse He That Calleth The Wicked “Righteous”

Proverbs 24:24, “He that saith unto the wicked, Thou are righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him:” Proverbs 29:27, “An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.” Isaiah 5:20, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

America has often been called “THE GREAT SATAN!” by Islamic Muslims in Iranian foreign policy. Mark Twain rightly said: “Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it.” As an American I love my country! Yet, how can I be proud of my nation in view of legalized abortion, same-sex marriage, an epidemic of substance abuse, videos of adultery, the flood of violence and lewdness in Hollywood movies, shady lying televangelists and greedy unethical business practices, et cetera?

God knows that I love people. I love everybody. I 100% am against the theological teaching that says God hates sinners. If that is so, then God would have to hate everyone, because we are all sinners. I found the following article in The Huffington Post, written by John and Catherine Shore. I believe they are sincere, but very wrong in their efforts to legitimize homosexuality in the New Testament church...

The Best Case for the Bible Not Condemning Homosexuality

THE HUFFINGTON POST

By John and Catherine Shore - 04/03/2012 | Updated Jun 03, 2012

God does not ask us to choose between compassion and faith in the Bible.

Christians are increasingly divided over the issue of the acceptance and inclusion of gay persons into the church. The debate itself is usually framed as essentially pitting the Bible, on one hand, against compassion and social justice on the other. Our Christian hearts, runs the (usually impassioned) argument, compel us to grant full moral and legal equality to gay and lesbian people; our Christian faith, comes the (usually impassioned) rebuttal, compels us to cleave, above all, to the word of God.

Compassion for others is the fundamental cornerstone of Christian ethics; the Bible is the bedrock of the Christian faith. What Christian can possibly choose between the two? The answer is that no Christian is called upon to make that choice. The text of the Bible on one hand, and full equality for gay and lesbian people on the other, is a false dichotomy. God would not ask or expect Christians to ever choose between their heart and their faith.

Reconciling the Bible with unqualified acceptance and equality for LGBT people does not necessitate discounting, recasting, deconstructing or reinterpreting the Bible. All it takes is reading those passages of the Bible wherein homosexuality is mentioned with the same care we would any other passage of the book.

We can trust God; we can trust that God is loving.

And we can trust that we can—and that we certainly should—take God, in this matter, as in all things, at his Word. If there is no clearly stated directive in the Bible to marginalize and ostracize gay people, then Christians continuing to do so is morally indefensible, and must cease.

What cannot be denied is that Christians have caused a great deal of pain and suffering to gay persons, by: Banning their participation in the church, thus depriving them of the comforts and spiritual fruits of the church; Banning their participation in the sacrament of marriage, thus depriving them of the comforts and spiritual fruits of marriage; Damaging the bonds between gays and their straight family members, thus weakening the comforts and spiritual fruits of family life for both gays and their families; and Using their position within society as spokespersons for God to proclaim that all homosexual relations are disdained by God, thus knowingly contributing to the cruel persecution of a minority population.

Christians do not deny that they have done these things. However, they contend that they have no choice but to do these things, based on what they say is a clear directive about homosexuals delivered to them by God through the Holy Bible. They say that the Bible defines all homosexual acts as sinful, instructs them to exclude from full participation in the church all non-repentant sinners (including gay people), and morally calls upon them to publicly (or at least resolutely) denounce homosexual acts.

Kindly said, John and Catherine are attempting to bring a perfect holy God down to man's imperfect moral level. Romans 1:24-25, “Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. The preceding Bible passage plainly speaks concerning homosexuals, indicting them for CHANGING THE TRUTH OF GOD INTO A LIE. The preceding article in The Huffington Post clearly evidences Romans 1:25. John and Catherine have changed THE TRUTH of God into a lie.

Kindly, in the preceding article John and Catherine said:

If there is no clearly stated directive in the Bible to marginalize and ostracize gay people, then Christians continuing to do so is morally indefensible, and must cease.

Wow! They are accusing God-fearing, Bible-believing, Christians of immoral behavior for marginalizing homosexuals! Let's define what it means to “marginalize a person...

“When you push people to the edge of society by not allowing them a place within it, you marginalize them. If a public school celebrates only Christmas in December, it can marginalize students who aren't Christian.”

SOURCE: Vocabulary: Marginalized

This is really a matter of what is considered “acceptable behavior” in society. A person is naturally going to feel marginalized when most people reject their behavior. Should society be acceptant and tolerant of thieves, pedophiles and shady salesmen? No, of course not! So it really becomes a matter of what is morally acceptable. The Devil has indoctrinated this untoward generation of Americans, Europeans and other first world societies to think that homosexuality is natural, quite normal and even of God. You have to decide dear reader, whether you are going to believe what man says about God, or what God says about man!

Kindly said, John and Catherine Shore are very wrong in their heathen philosophies. To accuse God-fearing, Bible-believing, Christians of “marginalizing and ostracizing gay people” is a dishonest tactic. That is equivalent to saying that Christians ought not marginalize and ostracize thieves, child molesters, bullies and adulterers. Society looks down upon these evils (and rightfully so, because these things hurt the innocent). So the LGBTQ agenda all boils down to one's personal bias of whether homosexuality is destructive to society.

The battle today over “gay rights” is really a battle between the righteous and the unrighteous. Proverbs 29:27, “An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.” All across the world today, people are cursing the United States for our pro LGBTQ propaganda! Proverbs 24:24, “He that saith unto the wicked, Thou are righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him:” President Donald Trump is a devout supporter of homosexual rights, who has called for the decriminalization of gay rights” worldwide. That is the way of the heathen world!

The following are some of the book titles quoted from in John and Catherine's earlier writing:

  • Bible, Gender, Sexuality: Reframing the Church's Debate on Same-Sex Relationships by James V. Brownson. William B. Eerdmans, 2013.
  • The Bible's Yes to Same-Sex Marriage: An Evangelical's Change of Heart by Mark Achtemeier. Westminster John Knox Press, 2014.
  • Biblical Support for Homosexual Marriage: A Message for the Bride of Christ by William J. Meiners. CreateSpace, 2012.
  • Gay Christian Survivors: Refuting Anti-Gay Views With The Word Of God by James D. Cunningham. CreateSpace, 2012.

The preceding horrible book titles are blasphemy against the holy Word of God. There is not one Bible verse in support of homosexuality, but there are MANY which condemn sin.  Isaiah 5:20, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

Please understand that the intent of this blog article is not to bash gay people, nor to incite hatred or abuse against them, God forbid. I think we should love everyone with God's unconditional love (Matthew 5:44), and be kind and nice toward everyone (Luke 6:35). Jude 1:22-23, “And of some have compassion, making a differenceAnd others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.” If you have homosexuals for neighbours, love them as people! People just want to be loved, just love the hell out of them!!! I really believe and live that, and so should you!

However, the reason why I wrote this article is to strongly refute the ungodly thinking set forth by John and Catherine Shore, which is attempting to change the churches, forcing churches to accept the LGBTQ agenda. This is a communist plot dear friend! Marxists are behind the ungodly “Black Lives Matter” anarchy movement in America! The heathen want to fix our broken society apart from obedience to the righteous God of the Holy Bible. Habakkuk 2:12, “Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood, and stablisheth a city by iniquity!” America will never be “great again, until we depart from our iniquity and honor the Lord Jesus Christ.

“The media's job is to stop you from seeing Jesus Christ!”
Pastor Danny Castle (a quote from the sermon: 'The Bible Is Not Bound')

Earlier I shared a quote with you from John and Catherine Shore. Here it is again...

If there is no clearly stated directive in the Bible to marginalize and ostracize gay people, then Christians continuing to do so is morally indefensible, and must cease.

It is important dear reader that you keep in mind the constant government's reminder to the churches of “SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE.” Why is it that the government is quick to remind churches of this Constitutional Law, yet violate this principle when it is favorable to their convenience or agenda? In other words—the government doesn't want the churches telling them what to do, but the government wants to tell the churches what to do! That is not liberty and freedom! The churches have every God-given right to marginalize unrepentant sinners! So saith the Scriptures...

2nd Thessalonians 3:14, And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.

1st Corinthians 5:9-13, “I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

1st Timothy 5:20, “Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.”

These Bible passage blatantly contradict John and Catherine Shore. Indeed, the Bible DOES teach believers to marginalize and ostracize fellow professed Christians who live in open sin. In fact, the Bible tells us to do it, so that proud sinners WILL BE ASHAMED. Anyone who professes to be a saint of God, but lives in willful sin, the Bible COMMANDS fellow believers to marginalize them, using peer pressure against them to repent and turn from their sin. I am speaking about sanctification for believers only. The Apostle Paul makes very clear that he is NOT addressing non-Christians, because otherwise we would have to leave planet earth! The Bible was written to God's children, the saints, not to unregenerate men. The unsaved man cannot understand the Scriptures, because they are spiritually discerned (1st Corinthians 2:14-16). If an unsaved person refuses to obey the Gospel to get saved, they cannot proceed any further! Without the indwelling Holy Spirit of God to guide and teach them, they cannot understand (John 16:13; Romans 8:9; 1st John 3:24; Galatians 2:20).

Dear reader, I hope you see the divine wisdom of the Scriptures, exposing the folly of the false accusations which John and Catherine Shore allege about Christians. John and Catherine would have Christians to be ashamed instead, compelling the saints to live in fear. 1st Timothy 5:20, “Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.” The pastor of every church has a God-given duty to take a godly stand against open sin in the church. We see this failure in the church at Corinth in 1st Corinthians 5:1-5. The Apostle Paul rebuked them for allowing a couple to live in open fornication in the church. Sin was accepted in the church. The preacher wasn't taking a Biblical stand. Oh friend, please don't accept the Devil's lie that Christians must embrace the evil LGBTQ agenda. No, we must reject it in all it's forms.

Please don't misunderstand. I am NOT saying that we should be unkind to gay persons. I believe that homosexuals should be welcomed to attend every church. How else can we help them if they are not welcome? I love a wonderful sermon by Pastor Jeff Owens called: The Unrighteous Are Welcome Here!” I can sum up my blog article with this true statement—We ought never accept the sin with the sinner, nor reject the sinner with the sin! I love that statement!!! John and Catherine Shore (and the ungodly Huffington Post) want the churches to accept the sin with the sinner. If we don't, then they maliciously accuse us of marginalizing homosexuals. No, God Himself marginalizes all willful sinners! Isaiah 55:7, “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”

We are living in perilous times dear friend (2nd Timothy 3:1-7). The faithful, infallible and inspired King James Bible reads in 1st Kings 14:24, “And there were also sodomites in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.” There is an ungodly Satanic agenda behind the modern Bible revisions to infiltrate, corrupt and destroy the churches. If you don't believe it, compare what the English Standard Version (ESV) changes this passage to say: 1st Kings 14:24, “and there were also male cult prostitutes in the land. They did according to all the abominations of the nations that the Lord drove out before the people of Israel.” Male cult prostitutes? Do you see how the Devil has removed the condemnation against homosexuals? The ESV version doesn't even call them homosexuals. Now they are just referred to as male prostitutes! The King James Bible says there were SODOMITES in the land, who did according to the abominations of the heathens.

Dear reader, I love you! If you are a sodomite, I love you with God's unconditional love. We are all guilty sinners (Romans 3:23). The big problem today is that people do not fear God. Proverbs 8:13, “The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate. Psalms:36:1, The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.” Those people who attempt to justify the sin of homosexuality do not fear God! Romans 3:18, “There is no fear of God before their eyes.I did not write this article to be unkind, but to uphold the truth. Local New Testament churches must never accept sin with the sinner, nor reject the sinner with the sin.

Respectfully, Pastor Steven Anderson rejects the sinner with the sin, which is wrong to do. I am concerned about this so-called New IFB Movement” (i.e., a new Independent Fundamental Baptist movement), which is essentially a movement following Pastor Steven Anderson's beliefs. I disagree with their denial of a Pretribulation Rapture. I disagree with their “Reprobate Doctrine heresy, which says that homosexuals cannot be saved. They sure can be saved! The Bible says in 1st Corinthians 6:9-11 that some of you were former effeminate males. This is Biblical proof that gay persons CAN be saved!

In conclusion, Bible-believing churches today more than ever must reject sin! No church is right with God who accept same-sex marriage! No church is right with God who refrains from preaching against homosexuality as a sin. I did not write this article to condemn homosexuals, God forbid. Even Jesus Himself did not come into the world to condemn sinners, but TO SAVE THEM (John 3:16-18; Luke 19:10). I wrote this article because as Christians we must not accept the sin of the sinner. We cannot and will not accept the LGBTQ agenda into our churches. We ought never accept the sin with the sinner, nor reject the sinner with the sin!

We ought never accept the sin with
the sinner, nor reject the sinner with the sin!
