Why Harvest Baptist Church On Guam Lacks Compassion

Luke 7:41-47, “There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty. And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most? Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged. And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head. Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment. Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.”

I was listening to Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) preach a couple weeks ago, and the following statement caught my attention like a sonic boom...

“The pastors have destroyed the churches, and they've been trained by people that have never built churches, and they have no compassion.” —Pastor Jack Hyles, “Many Pastors Have Destroyed My Vineyard

That explains why churches like Harvest Baptist Church on Guam lack compassion for hurting people like me. I attended the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam for one year, between 2013 and 2014. The Bible says that a godly man who abides in the Scriptures hates every false way. Psalms 119:104, “Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.” After attending Harvest for several months, God gave me a burden to help Harvest's pastors see THE TRUTH. What saith the Scripture? Proverbs 12:17, “He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit.” I bought several books with my own money and gave them to the pastors. They resented my help! I gave the pastors Michael P. Bowens helpful book titled: I Never Knew You.”

Pastor Marty Herron's son-in-law, who was an associate pastor then, was so offended that he broke off a dinner invitation I had been given by him and his wife to come over for dinner the next night. They didn't even have the courtesy to explain why they cancelled, and I stood in front of my house until 11 p.m. waiting for them across the street to invite me over. I went inside and cried, being rejected and despised for telling THE TRUTH. Proverbs 12:17, “He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit.” Romans 3:4, “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.”

I also gave the pastors Dr. Al Lacy's helpful boom titled, “NIV: The Antichrist's Bible.” They didn't like that one either. I gave them Pastor Max Younce's helpful book titled, “Martin Luther: Master Of Deceit.” I was a fighting Fundamentalist in a cesspool of Bob Jones University's Neo-evangelical graduates. BJU's graduates were trained by academics at the college, not by church builders, so they have no compassion! That perfectly explains why Harvest's pastors, then and now in 2020, couldn't care less about me. They might as well have hung a noose around my neck and pushed me off a cliff.

Pastor Marty Herron sinfully threw me under the bus from 2014 to 2018, and now their new pastor Gary Walton since 2018 has backed the bus up on me, banning me from returning. Sadly, they couldn't care less and have ZERO COMPASSION. Any genuine man of God would have reached out in love, trying to make peace with me. But you see, these are immature young people who lack compassion. They are heartless religious workers trained by heartless academics. Still today in 2020, Harvest Baptist Church on Guam refuses to allow me to attend their church services.

Truthfully, the only reason I even wanted to go back is because I fell in love with a young woman in their church in 2017, but she left a letter by my front door telling me never to contact her again. I lovingly gave her a really cool care bear with her name embroidered on it, placing it directly into her warm hands, but she coldly left the bear by my front door later. Her BJU pastors have taught her well how to be calloused, cold and cruel, just like them. The bear told me how mean she was, and that he never wanted to go back. So I cried as I gave him away to the thrift store. I hope the bear will forgive me for putting him through that...lol. It was my only hope that the bear might find happiness in the loving arms of someone who wanted him. I know how the poor bear feels.

From all that I have seen, Harvest Baptist Church from top to bottom are heartless toward hurting people. I literally begged for their help three times in 2017, and many times since, but they have NO COMPASSION, just like Dr. Hyles said. ...

“The pastors have destroyed the churches, and they've been trained by people that have never built churches, and they have no compassion.” —Pastor Jack Hyles, “Many Pastors Have Destroyed My Vineyard

Harvest Baptist Church is a spiritual dungheap on the island of Guam. They sinfully promote Bob Jones University's 'The Daily Platform,' featuring the apostate preaching of Pastor John MacArthur's good buddy Dr. Steve Pettit (a theologically incompetent rich snob). God's curse is upon the Bob Jones' crowd, for perverting the Gospel (Galatians 1:6-9). When you mess with the grace of God, you are attacking the God of grace!

I am quick to tell people that I am as narrow-minded as the Holy Bible. God's opinion is my opinion! That is what the Bible is you know, God's opinion. When you form an opinion different than God's opinion, that is called heresy”! My friend, there is no controversy if you believe the Bible. If someone tells me that they don't believe the Bible, we don't need to proceed any further into our conversation, because we have no common ground. I am a Fundamentalist! I believe that the King James Bible is the holy, perfect, infallible, innerant, preserved and verbally/plenary inspired Words of almighty God. Verbally means word for word. Plenary means the whole canon of Scripture (all 66 books). Pastor Texe Marrs was not a Fundamentalist, nor did he care to claim to be one. Dr. Marrs actually denied that the book of Esther is inspired, calling it a fraud because God gave the Jews victory at the end. Really Texe? I sometimes think Texe said that stuff just to make Zionists angry.

I cherish this wonderful little story tucked away in the Scriptures. This dear woman was a woeful sinner. Jesus said that her sins were many. I don't know how you esteem yourself dear reader, but my sins have also been “many.” I don't have a single fault. That is correct, I have “many” faults, of which I lost track decades ago because they were so numerous. Jesus said to whom much is forgiven, the same loveth much. I have been forgiven of much, which is why I am a loving person. Since God in His mercy has bestowed an abundant amount of love and forgiveness upon a woeful sinner like me, I am compelled to do likewise with a broken and humble heart of love toward everyone. Since Harvest's pastors are academics, who've' been trained by academic snobs, the people of Harvest haven't been taught how to love either.

In a paradoxical way, I rejoice that the members and pastors of Harvest Baptist Church on Guam lack compassion for me, and not me for them. The blood is on their hands! This is all their doing, not mine. I am the victim, they are the perpetrators in this conflict. I love them all unconditionally at Harvest with God's unfeigned love. The blood is on their hands for promoting corruptible seed (perverse Bible revisions). The blood is on their hands for promoting another gospel of Lordship Salvation. The blood is on their hands for bidding Godspeed to false prophets like Dr. Steve Pettit and Pastor John MacArthur. I simply tried to help them by showing them THE TRUTH, which is what a true friend does. For that I was shown the door, treated cruelly, and have been sinfully ostracized by the church since.

Pastor Jack Hyles said: “All across America businessmen are destroying churches!” Dr. Hyles made this profoundly true statement in his sermon titled: “I Find No Fault In This Man.” Jesus put it this way in Luke 16:13, “No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” You see, businessmen think in terms of dollars and cents (money), but a godly preacher thinks in terms of truth, righteousness and pleasing God.

Sometimes to be ethical and do what is right, we have to take a financial loss. Sometimes doing the right thing costs us, and sets us back, and is not in the best interests of the organization (but it is pleasing to God). Sometimes pleasing God means the church will shrink in size, not grow. Businessmen are destroying churches because they want to do things in such a way that the church grows in popularity in the community—at the expense of soulwinning, preaching against sin, separation, moral standards, calling names of evildoers and false prophets, and refusing to hobnob with Neo-evangelicals and other apostates.

My blood is on their hands at Harvest Baptist Church on Guam, because they drove me out of their church in 2014, and have sinfully ostracized me since, because I faithfully told THE TRUTH. Galatians 4:16, “Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?” In my humble opinion, Harvest's former pastor (Marty Herron) fled Guam in shame. The face of a coward is the back of someone's head as they run away from a battle. Like a coward does, Pastor Herron threw me under the bus for his own benefit. As David told Saul, God will judge between me and thee (Romans 3:4). I told the truth!

Bob Jones University is a shameful institution today, who have changed from what their godly founder once believed. Dr. Bob Jones Sr. (1883-1968) preached a free grace Gospel, not the damnable heresy of Lordship Salvation which they teach today. God hasn't changed (Malachi 3:6; Hebrews 13:8). The Gospel hasn't changed (Galatians 1:6). It is Neo-evangelicals who have sinfully changed, to their own destruction (2nd Peter 3:16-17). There is not a more phony group of professed Christians today, woefully lacking in both doctrinal soundness and compassion for people, than the ungodly Bob Jones' crowd!
