Boldness Comes From Walking With God

Acts 4:13, “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.”

America's great need in this perilous hour is bold men of God who PREACH THE TRUTH!!! Where does boldness come from? Why, it comes from walking with the Lord in prayer and abiding in the Scriptures. Boldness comes from spending time with Jesus!!! The reason why pastors don't preach with boldness today is because they don't truly walk with God.

As a man abides in the Scriptures (John 5:39; Psalms 1), and understands the truths being taught to Him by the Holy Spirit (John 16:13), the truth WILL BURN IN HIS HEART (as it did the prophet Jeremiah, as it does mine daily). Jeremiah 20:9, “Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.” Like a pregnant woman who's ready to give birth, a preacher should be so full of truth that he is ready to give birth to a sermon at all times! I LOVE BIBLE PREACHING!!! I NEED BIBLE-PREACHING!!! WE ALL DO!!! Sadly, very few of my web visitors listen to the several thousand MP3 sermons that I've published online. I encourage you to listen to preaching!!!

Amidst horrible persecution against the New Testament Church, the Lord's disciples prayed for BOLDNESS to speak the Word of God...
Acts 4:24-29, “And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is: Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things? The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ. For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together, For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done. And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,
The average pastor nowadays is a mere businessman, an administrator, running a 501c3 state-licensed business instead of a Bible-believing, soul-winning, Christ-honoring, sin-fighting, people-loving, truth-telling, New Testament Church. Oh, how we need preaching PREACHERS!!! We need men of truth, who desire not money, and are consumed with THE TRUTH! Jeremiah 3:15, “And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. Boldness to love, forgive and preach comes only from walking with our wonderful God!
