Christ Died For All Humanity

1st John 2:1-2, “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.”

Truly, I honestly don't know how anyone could ever agree with John Calvin (1509-1564). One of Mr. Calvin's most popular teachings is called “Limited Atonement,” which is the false doctrine that since God chooses who will or will not be saved, Christ therefore only died for the elect (the chosen). As you just plainly read for yourself, Jesus Christ is not only the PROPITIATION (to appease the wrath of God) of the saints, “BUT ALSO FOR THE SINS OF THE WHOLE WORLD.” I tell you with all Biblical certainty and confidence that: CHRIST DIED FOR ALL MEN!!!

FOR WHOM DID CHRIST DIE? HE DIED...
  • For all (1st Timothy 2:6; Isaiah 53:6).
  • For every man (Hebrews 2:9).
  • For the world (John 3:16).
  • For the sins of the whole world (1st John 2:2).
  • For the ungodly (Romans 5:6).
  • For false teachers (2nd Peter 2:1).
  • For many (Matthew 20:28).
  • For Israel (John 11:50-51).
  • For the Church (Ephesians 5:25).
  • For “me” (Galatians 2:20).
The inspired Word of God teaches that Christ is the Savior of all humanity. 1st Timothy 4:10, “For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.” Jesus is the Savior of ALL MEN, especially of those that believe. How much clearer could the Bible be on this matter that CHRIST DIED FOR ALL HUMANITY? How else could Jesus be “THE SAVIOUR OF ALL MEN”?
“If there's anybody in the Bible that God had disdain for, it was those that had disdain for other sinners!” —an awesome quote from the MP3 sermon by Dr. Jack Hyles titled, “If Thou Should Mark Iniquities, Who Could Stand?
