Walking In The Spirit Is A Choice

Ephesians 4:22-24, “That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.”

Salvation is a free gift from God, received through faith in His only begotten Son, Jesus. You did nothing to deserve God's forgiveness, and His gift of eternal life is accompanied by another gift—the blessed indwelling Holy Spirit (who is the Godhead living in each believer). The Holy Spirit is the Comforter, the Spirit of Truth, who enables you and me to live the Christian life. John 14:26, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” The Holy Spirit helps you in resisting temptation and making wiser decisions. He gives us knowledge through searching the inspired Word of God, to help us make daily decisions.

The FLESH (our human sinful nature) is diabolical and always ready to separate us from the spiritual things of God. Galatians 5:17, “For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.” Every saint of God struggles between the flesh and the spirit. I have heard some preachers teach that when a person gets saved, the old nature is forever gone, and only the new nature in Christ remains. However, it cannot be denied that even with the new nature (which is Christ in us, united with our spirit), we still have the sinful FLESH to contend with. So call it what you will, every Christian still has the old sinful flesh which is contrary to the Holy Spirit in us. The old nature may be gone, but the flesh is still here!

Our old nature is when our spirit was dead in trespasses and sins (Ephesians 2:1), and we did not know God; but then we trusted in Jesus Christ, and we became a new creature (2nd Corinthians 5:17). God gives us a new spiritual understanding of the things of God (i.e., now we have the indwelling Holy Spirit to teach and guide us into all truth. John 16:13, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. Even though we have a new nature, in which the indwelling Spirit of God convicts us about the sins in our life, it is possible for us to CHOOSE to continue walking in the flesh, and not walk in the Spirit, so that we will still fulfill the sinful lusts of the flesh.

This does not mean we are not born-again, it just means that we are not obeying our heavenly Father to walk in the Spirit. If saved, always saved! At the moment of salvation, God regenerates our spirit that was dead, giving us life in His Holy Spirit. The Bible refers to the Holy Spirit as the Spirit of Christ.” Romans 8:9, But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.” That is precious! The Holy Spirit is Jesus' Spirit in us as believers. We also have the Spirit of God the Father in us as believers. That is, we have the Godhead living inside of our spirit, soul and body as redeemed saints of God.

What a magnificent God, who loves us so much that He wanted to make His abode inside our very being. Wow, what amazing love and grace!!! What saith the Scripture? John 14:23, “Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.” The man who loves God will keep His Words. We find those words in John 6:40, “And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.”

Our born-again spirit is sinless by virtue of the Cross! But should we continue to sin? God forbid! With Grace on our minds, the last thing we want to do is grieve the Holy Spirit. Remember, as believers we FALL IN GRACE, but never FROM GRACE! Romans 6:1, “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?” When we choose to sin as God's children, even committing the most despicable of crimes, God's grace always abounds, so that we could NEVER lose His free gift of forgiveness of sins and eternal life. The reason why is because we didn't earn it. We did not pay for it, Jesus did, with His precious blood that He shed on the cross, and sprinkled on the Mercy Seat in Heaven (1st Peter 1:18-19; Hebrews 9:12, 22-24; 12:24).

True perfection will not come until the Rapture of the church when we rise to meet Jesus in the air. (1st Thessalonians 4:17). We will stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ to follow (2nd Corinthians 5:9-11), where our works (the good and bad done in our body) will be judged and rewards will be given (1st Corinthians 3:6-15). Tears will flow for most saints, who wasted their time here on earth (1st Corinthians 3:11-15); while a few soulwinning saints will shine as the brightness of the stars forever (Daniel 12:3). They will shine because they will be a hero to all the people whom they led to Jesus Christ back on earth.

In salvation, Christ redeemed our soul, but our body won't be redeemed until Christ returns. Our redemption will be complete at the Rapture (which I humbly think will happen BEFORE the 7-year Tribulation period), and we will live and reign with Christ throughout the 1,000-year Millennium, in our glorified bodies in sinless perfection (Revelation 20:6; Philippians 3:21; 1st Corinthians 15:51-58).

As believers, God's Spirit lives in us and renews us every day. Walking in the Spirit is a choice. We can ignore God and make the wrong choices, indulging in sin, losing our calm and peace of soul; or we can choose to walk in the Spirit, by bringing every thought into captivity unto obedience to Christ. ...
2nd Corinthians 10:3-6, “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
At any given moment we can choose to walk in the Spirit, but we won't always make that right choice because we are still tied to the sinful flesh (which is where the word “carnal comes from, fleshly; as in Carna Asada steak, which means flesh roasted). Psalms 119:9, “Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way?  by taking heed thereto according to thy wordWith my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. The Bible will keep us from sin; or sin will keep us from the Bible.

The Holy Spirit ALWAYS guides us with the inspired Word of God. If you ever hear Oprah Winfrey or anybody else, talking about spiritual things and they are not including the Holy Bible, run away as fast as you can; because any spirit that is not the Holy Spirit is a familiar spirit (a demon). The Holy Spirit always leads a child of God in accordance with the written Word of God, and never contrary to it. People do a lot of crazy things, claiming that God's Spirit led them to do it, but don't you believe them for a moment.

One of my favorite sermons by Pastor Jack Hyles is titled: "Your Salvation Did Not Change You A Bit." The only thing you automatically receive at salvation (besides forgiveness of all sins and eternal life) is the gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit, who seals every believer (Ephesians 1:13-14). Our life does not change until we begin to grow in the Word of God (1st Peter 2:2), and in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. 2nd Peter 3:18, But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.”

The Wickedness Of The Invitation Song, "I Surrender All"

Acts 16:29-31, Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

The Philippian jailer in Rome wanted to know how to be saved. He came in trembling and asked Paul and Silas, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” Paul and Silas plainly answered, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.” They didn't tell the man to “surrender all to Jesus.” No, they simply told the man to “
BELIEVE.

Throughout my entire life, in nearly every Baptist church that I have ever attended, they sang the popular hymn, “I Surrender All,” during the invitation time. That is as wicked as can be! Dear reader, a lost sinner does not need to surrender anything to be saved, they simply need to receive God's free gift of forgiveness of sins and eternal life, taking it by placing their childlike faith in Jesus as their personal Savior. Just take God at His promise, as recorded in the inspired Word of God, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16b).

The Hymn “I Surrender All” Should NEVER
Be Used As An Invitation Song For The Lost

Dear reader, I encourage you to start thinking objectively, if you don't already. That is, learn to question everything! This is 100% biblical. 1st John 4:1, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” The Bible says not to blindly give your mind over to everything you hear, lest you be deceived by the Devil. Learn to think objectively!

That is what I wrong with Pensacola Christian College (PCC). Since they refuse to stand against anything, they have fallen for hellbound infidels like Ken Ham, and the Calvinist Bob Jones University (BJU) cult. BJU is leading the way in using, selling and promoting the Devil's perverted Bibles.

No, we don't have to “surrender all” to go to Heaven, we simply need to BELIEVE the 'Good News' (Gospel) about Jesus who died on a cross for our sins, was buried and then three days later He bodily resurrected from the dead. ...
1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”
That is how you go to Heaven.

In his helpful book titled, “I Never Knew You, by Michael P. Bowen, he writes:
Here is the gospel: God says that we are sinners and that no amount of good works or behavioral changes on our part could ever make us holy enough to enter heaven. God sent His Son to pay for all of our sins. Jesus paid for our crimes by dying on the cross for us all. His dead body was buried in a grave. On the third day, Jesus arose from the dead.
The instant you believe this, He knows it and He saves you. “Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on Me hath everlasting life” (John 6:47). The free gift is based solely upon your trust in what Jesus did for you and has nothing at all to do with what you do for Him. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).

SOURCE: Michael P. Bowen, “I Never Knew You,” p. xxii

That's it! That is the truth. Ladies and gentlemen, we've got a bunch of false prophets—lying pastors today like John MacArthur, Marty Herron, Gary Walton, Steve Pettit, Ray Comfort, Paul Washer, John Piper, Franklin Graham, Sam Horn and Chuck Phelps—who are going to Hell themselves, and are tragically taking thousands of victims with them to Hell, because they all preach the Devil's lie of Lordship Salvation!

Dr. Curtis Hutson (1934-1995) said it well...
“I maintain that anything short of truth is a lie. But I also maintain that anything beyond truth is a lie. If you tell a man he can be saved, without believing on Christ, you've come short of the truth; but if you go beyond the truth and tell a man he's saved by believing plus being baptized, plus keeping the Ten Commandments, plus enduring to the end, you've gone beyond truth. I say we ought to stick with what the Bible says, even if it doesn't coincide with what we've always thought it meant.” —Dr. Curtis Hutson, “The Determining Factor In Salvation
The song, “I Surrender All” is 100% blatant heresy as regards salvation!!! Jesus sacrificed ALL for you and me, and all of humanity, so that God could freely offer us eternal life as a gift. Getting saved is NOT a trade or an exchange, it is a free gift if you want it. All you have to do is simply BELIEVE that Jesus did it all for you. Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do.

My Sin Belongs To Me, But My Righteousness Is Jesus Christ's

Philippians 3:9, “And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

What a great truth! My sin belongs to me, but my righteousness is Jesus' Christ's. The only thing good about me is Jesus Christ. You and I are dirty sinners friend. All humanity are sinners. We are sinners both by nature and by choice. Thankfully, God in His love sent His only begotten Son into the world, to die on a cross to pay our sin debt. Jesus paid a debt that He did not owe, because we owed a debt that we could not pay. What an awesome Savior!!!

Since the beginning of human civilization, man has had a sinful carnal tendency to add works to faith to get to Heaven. We see this in the Bible in the book of Genesis, when Adam sewed together fig leaves in an attempt to cover (atone) for the sins of he and his wife, Eve.

We also sin this sinful tendency in the story of Cain who in anger slew able his younger brother. God accepted Able's blood sacrifice, which demonstrated his faith in the coming Messiah who would one day die on a cross to pay for the sins of the world. But God rejected Cain's sacrifice of the best grains his fields could produce, which symbolized Cain's faith in his own works. God rejected Cain's works-based religion.

My sin belongs to me, but my righteousness is Jesus Christ's. If you understand this blessed Bible truth dear friend, then you will fully realize why it is a falsehood to tell someone that they must “turn away from their sins” or to repent “of your sins” to get to Heaven. The Bible teaches the exact opposite, that Christ died on a cross to pay for our sins. In the former falsehood, the focus is upon YOU leaving your sins; but in the latter truth, the focus is upon CHRIST.

The Harm Of Infant Baptism (by Dr. John R. Rice)

Acts 8:36-38, “And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

Since salvation must come, according to the Bible, before there can be Bible baptism, it is obvious that there is no reason for baptizing babies, unaccountable infants. There is not one New Testament record of the baptism of an infant. Jesus did lay His hands on little children and bless them, but certainly He did not baptize them or the Scripture would somewhere have said so.

In the sixteenth chapter of Acts, there are two cases where households were baptized. The first was the household of Lydia of whom the Scripture says in Acts 16:14,15:
“And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul. And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide there. And she constrained us.”
We do not know who was included in her household. Nothing was said about children, and it is not even intimated that she was married. Certainly there is no teaching of “infant baptism” here. In the case of the jailer, in the same chapter, the Scripture makes it certain that there were no unaccountable babies. That passage in verses 29 to 34 says:
“Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house, And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway. And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.”
Verse 33 does say “and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.” But notice that verse 32 states that Paul and Silas preached the word “to all that were in his house” and verse 34 says that he “rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.” Certainly everybody who was baptized in that household heard the word and believed in Christ.

BABIES CIRCUMCISED, WHY NOT BABIES BAPTIZED?
It is true that boy babies were circumcised in Israel when eight days old (Genesis 17:12). But baptism and circumcision are two entirely different matters. Circumcision was for boys and men only, while baptism is for both sexes alike. Circumcision was for every boy or man of Hebrew blood, while baptism is only for saved people. Circumcision and baptism mean entirely different things. Circumcision meant that this child was an Israelite, one of the chosen race by natural birth. Baptism means that the one baptized is born again and one of God’s children by a birth from Heaven. One has no right to be baptized until he is born as God’s child. The Bible does not say one word about dedicating little children to the Lord by any kind of Christian ceremony and certainly does not mention baptism of babies anywhere in the Bible.

It is a sad and remarkable fact that many earnest Christian people have followed Roman Catholics in sprinkling unaccountable babies when there is not one verse in the Bible to even intimate that it was the will of God! In the Bible, people were baptized after they believed and were saved, as was the case with the jailer and his entire family.

THE HARM OF INFANT BAPTISM
Baptism of an unaccountable baby does untold harm. For one thing, it leaves the impression that the change of heart is not necessary. It leaves the impression that the religion of the Lord Jesus is a matter of ritual, not of personal faith. It ignores the Bible teaching that baptism represents the burial and resurrection of Jesus and the believer’s change of heart. Worst of all, the one who is thus given a ceremony which was only for Christians, often is led to believe, in after years, that since he is a member of a church, has been baptized, and is a respectable citizen, therefore he does not need the change of heart, does not need to be converted, saved by the blood of Jesus. Whatever fine argument you may make for the sprinkling of a little baby, it is answered by the plain, indisputable fact that Jesus did not command it and it is certainly unscriptural and wrong.

We begin to see, then, why the Lord Jesus puts such stress on baptism. It is the gospel, so simple that every new convert can preach it. It pictures the plan of salvation. Yea, it safeguards the plan of salvation. If I change the form of baptism, I change the meaning of baptism, I change the doctrine of salvation. If I take a little child, unaccountable, who has not trusted in Christ for salvation, and without his volition, I put water upon his head and “baptize” him, I have taught an entirely different plan of salvation.
I have said to the unthinking world that people do not need a change of heart, but that with a simple rite of dedication they have a right into the fellowship of a New Testament church. When I change the form of baptism, I have lost all the picture about the death of Christ, His atonement, His resurrection, the change necessary in the believer’s heart and the change commanded in his life. When people go wrong on baptism, they go wrong on the doctrine of salvation.

If people have a right to change the form of baptism, they have a right to change the form of church government, change from the New Testament program of soul winning to the modern program of education. Good, old time Methodist people who believe, as John Wesley did, in a change of heart, oftentimes wonder why that strong tendency of modern Methodism toward teaching salvation by works, by character, by education and by culture instead of salvation by the blood! One reason is, they do not have Bible baptism, a burial of the believer with Christ, to picture to the world the great teaching of the plan of salvation. Sprinkling babies teaches against the need for a change of heart.

STAY WITH BIBLE BAPTISM
Suppose we even retain the form of baptism, but still teach it as essential to salvation as do our Catholic friends and as do Churches of Christ or Disciples, Lutherans and others. When one is baptized, then, he says to the world. “I am saving my soul by my good works.” The preacher or priest is saying, perhaps unconsciously, to the world, “The church by rites and ceremonies is saving this man’s soul.”

The candidate baptized, the preacher or priest, and the onlookers alike all miss the blessed, blessed teaching that Christ died for our sins, that men are saved simply by faith in His shed blood, that a deep-seated, fundamental change has been made in the heart of the believer, called the new birth. BIBLE BAPTISM IS GOD’S SAFEGUARD AROUND SOUND DOCTRINE ON THE PLAN OF SALVATION. That is the reason if baptism was not done the right way, or if it was done with the right method, but without the scriptural teaching in the minds of the people, it should be done again, as Paul baptized the second time those converts at Ephesus as told in Acts 19:1-6. Let us stay with the Bible as to the form and meaning of baptism and baptize only those who have a Bible right to baptism, that is, saved people. Certainly baptism of babies is unscriptural, dangerous and wrong.

Healthy Fear Is A Good Thing

Proverbs 1:7, “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”

Dear friend, fear is not always a bad thing. In the book of Proverbs we find the word “fear” mentioned 28 times. The FEAR OF THE LORD is a good thing, for it is the beginning of wisdom. I am a happy man, because I fear God all the time. Proverbs 28:14, “Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.” Heathy fear keeps us out of trouble! King David confirmed this truth when he exclaimed in Psalms 36:1, “The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.” David said when he saw people committing wicked sins, it evidenced to him that those sinners did not fear God's judgment against them in the future.

Again we read in Romans 3:18, “There is no fear of God before their eyes.” Mankind is sinful both by nature and by choice. A little baby doesn't need to be taught how to get angry, throw a fit in a temper tantrum, and do wrong; it is inherently a part of that child's nature as a human being. When Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden, he opened the floodgate of sin upon the human race, and by sin so came death. Romans 5:12, “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”

There are THREE major areas of fear in a person's lifetime that is HEALTHY:
  1. fear of parents
  2. fear of the law
  3. fear of God
Fear Of Parents
During the Black Lives Matter crisis in 2020, we saw how adults who grew up without parental discipline behave. Millions of adult brats wickedly burned down stranger's businesses, set fire to police stations, beat innocent citizens and destroyed communities, just to get their point across that they demanded police reform nationwide to deal with cop abuse.

To not properly discipline an unruly child is a form of child abuse. God put that padded area in the back for a good reason—for spankings. Proverbs 20:30, “The blueness of a wound cleanseth away evil: so do stripes the inward parts of the belly.” To clarify, no parent should ever strike a child with a solid object, such as a stick or a board. The board of education ought not be a big wooden club! My parents used to spank me as a child with a leather belt (which was VERY effective to teach me to obey... lol). I loved my parents and I knew that they loved me. I had a healthy fear of Mom and Dad (especially Dad) if I disobeyed the rules in our home. Both of my parents are now in Heaven with Jesus, and I miss them.

Did you know that the Bible says you hate your children if you fail to discipline them. Proverbs 13:24, “He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.” The word “betimes” here simply means early in the child's developmental stage. I am against all forms of child abuse. Unfortunately, many people don't know what constitutes “child abuse.” When I was a teenager, my parents had stopped spanking me a long time ago, so they would make me stand in the corner for an hour sometimes as chastisement. Today, many people would consider that a form of child abuse, which it certainly is not. Being grounded by your parents is not child abuse, it is tough love and proper discipline for a misbehaving teenager. Good parents will properly discipline their sons and daughters!

The Proverbs
(read by Alexander Scourby, 1913-1985)

I love the Old Testament book of Proverbs, because it gives us WISDOM. We all desperately need wisdom. What saith the Scripture? Proverbs 4:7, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” The Bible says that wisdom is the most important commodity that we need, therefore we should seek it diligently.

A child who has been properly trained will feel sorrow that they've hurt Mom's and Dad's feeling by doing wrong. No parent should ever apply discipline until the child has first admitted of their own accord that they've done wrong. To discipline a child when they still think they don't deserve to be punished, will harden their heart. You should never spank or discipline a child until they first admit they've done wrong. Also, punishment should never be applied suddenly, by jerking the child in anger. No parent should ever discipline a child in anger. There should be a cooling down period, so that any discipline will be administered justly with love.

Fear Of The Law
A healthy fear of the law, courts and police is a good thing. When criminals no longer fear the police, they are headed for destruction. Proverbs 14:16, “A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident.” If you feel some degree of apprehension or fear when a police car is driving behind your vehicle, that is a good and normal thing. If you have a valid driver's license, valid vehicle plates, and are living within the confines of the law, then you have no reason to be afraid. Fear of the law and being afraid of law enforcement are two different things. Likewise, a child should fear parental discipline, but not be afraid of Mom and Dad. And also, we should fear God, but we don't need to be afraid of Him unless we are living in wickedness. Living with healthy fear will keep us from doing bad things which will then cause us to be afraid. That is good advice! Proverbs 3:7, “Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.”

Fear Of God
Happy is the man who feareth always the Bible says. You can either wear a yoke of wood by abstaining from sin, or you can wear a yoke of iron by committing sin. It is MUCH better to wear a yoke of wood dear friend, then to forge for yourself an unbearable yoke of iron of addiction, prison, loss of health, loss of family and friends, and the guilt that comes from sin. Wearing a yoke of wood is a good deal, when all else is considered.

Proverbs 14:2, “He that walketh in his uprightness feareth the LORD: but he that is perverse in his ways despiseth him.” Proverbs 15:16, “Better is little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble therewith.” I fear God. In fact, the Bible teaches that man's whole duty is to FEAR GOD AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS. Ecclesiastes 12:13, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.” Fear of God is a good thing!!!

One day in eternity we all have to be held accountable by God (Romans 14:10-12). Sadly, most people don't believe that, or don't care, so they live in sin and continue hurting people. The man who fears God will love his neighbour as himself. The man who fears God fears hurting anybody for any reason. It is because I fear and love God that I want to think right, live right and do right at all times. So a certain amount of healthy fear is always a good thing, because it keeps us on our toes and out of trouble. Thank you for reading my blog.

Pastor Jeff Redlin Gets Paid 6-Digit Salary To Care About The 99%; I Don't Make A Penny Caring About The 1%

Proverbs 21:13, "Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard."

It sickens me that our U.S. federal government gives trillions of dollars away to foreign countries, NASA and all type of programs, but they have no money to build houses for homeless people. The Iraqi War cost U.S. taxpayers $2,400,000,000,000!!! That's 2.4 trillion dollars! You can measure the health of any society by the way they treat the poor and homeless.

Every year the federal government gives 25 billion dollars to NASA. For that same amount of money, $50,000 tiny homes could be built for 500,000 homeless people. Housing alone won't solve homelessness, but community will. Love thy neighbour as thyself. That is the key to ending homelessness in the United States, and the world. If we simply loved our neighbour as our self, nobody would be poor and homeless. We have money for bombs, but not for beds. We have money for missiles, but not for medicine. Our U.S. federal government spends 6.6 trillion dollars every year for our national budget, and still yet our government is 30 trillion dollars in debt! There is PLENTY of money to end homelessness and poverty in America and the world, but greedy and wicked people prevent it from getting to the poor. Jesus said that the poor would always be with us.

In comparison, I was just thinking about how rotten Pensacola Christian College (PCC) is. I was thinking how PCC is guilty of the same sin as those greedy leaders of the nations who refuse to care about the poor to help them. There is plenty of opportunities at PCC for everybody to fit in and serve God, but just like the evil people who neglect the poor in the world, so also does PCC ignore the hurting 1% of people like me and Samantha Field, who desperately need their love and help. Proverbs 21:13, "Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard."

PCC hears my cry for reconciliation with them, as their Christian brother in need with a broken heart, but they have stopped their ears from hearing my cry. I humbly posted a request yesterday on PCC's Facebook page, asking to come back to Campus Church. Instead of hearing my cry and helping me, they blocked out my Facebook account. That is how evil PCC treats hurting people, they stop their ears at the cry of others. Pastor Jeff Redlin gets paid over $100,000 a year to care about the 99% of their people, but I get paid nothing to care about the 1% of Christ's lambs in need.

Pastor Jack Hyles is right, when he said you either love everybody, or else you love nobody. I love that our great God sees and cares about the 1% of people. PCC sinfully discards the 1%, stopping their ears at the cry of the 1% for love and help. At PCC, there are no second chances, no path of restoration, no compassion for the fallen. Truly, the love on money is the root of all evil. For money, PCC will help your child memorize Bible verses, but you must pay them upfront. This is NOT serving God, this is a predatory opportunistic business.

Proverbs 21:13, "Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard."
The 1% of divorced, broken, grieving, expelled, difficult and suffering people are poor in spirit. PCC stops their ears at the cry of these 1%. I was pondering this truth today, thanking God for my website ministry which reaches out in love to the 1% of saints who are depressed, down and out, hurt, angry, frustrated, lonely, tired and disgusted with superficial phony churches today. Jeff Redlin gets paid a 6-digit salary to care about the 99%, but I don't get paid a penny to care about the 1% (and I wouldn't take a penny or a million dollars if you threw it at me). I love the ministry which God has given to me. Everyone is welcome in my ministry. PCC discriminates, they only love some people; but I do not discriminate, I love everybody with Christ's unconditional l love. I always take people back who have become angry at me and left, but then came back asking me for a second chance. Of course you can have a second chance, and a third, and a fourth, there is no limit.

I was listening to the blessed Old Testament book of Proverbs today, and I heard a Bible verse that applies to the thieves who stole from my vehicle this week. Proverbs 12:26, "The righteous is more excellent than his neighbour: but the way of the wicked seduceth them." God is so good. Likewise, God sees that I have an excellent spirit toward PCC. The Lord sees and knows that I desire to make peace, to reconcile and be a part of the PCC family. Sadly, PCC cult leadership have huge egos, and they are arrogant, spiritually blinded to their wretched, naked, poor and miserable condition as a church (Revelation 3:15-17).

I am just a humble broken sinner, a nobody who deserves to burn in Hell for my sins. But thanks be to God, who rescued me through the gift of His only begotten Son, Jesus. Pastor Jeff Redlin at PCC's Campus Church is so cocky and full of hubris, that he won't even communicate with me. I gave him my phone number, mailing address and email. I apologized 3 times and sincerely offered to do what ever they require top make peace. I conditionally promised to remove all my criticisms from social media, but only IF they agree to allow me to attend Campus Church. They wouldn't even talk with me about making a path of restoration. Sadly, they are just jerks at PCC, yuppie-type leaders who hold grudges, refuse to forgive and think like juvenile teenagers who are undisciplined brats. Did I mention that PCC leaders are arrogant, having a wicked spirit of supremacy over others? Sadly, it is all true.

Pastor Jack Hyles often told the entire church that the day the poor, and the bus kids, and smelly rescue mission men, the broken, homeless and unloving are not welcomed at the First Baptist Church of Hammond, Indiana, he would resign as their pastor. Dr. Hyles meant it too! I share Brother Hyles sentiments exactly. My ministry exists to help everybody, especially the 1% of rejects, failures, the poor and downcast, felons, unwanted people, losers, former prison convicts, mental cases and all those in society that no one else will give the time of day too.

You'd be surprised at some of my biggest ministry co-laborers, my ministry friends—messed up people who survive on taking prescription drugs, who have spent years going to psychiatrists, and have had umpteen horrible pastors cruelly tell them they are insane. But they come to me and I receive those weirdos with love, tolerating their mood swings and rudeness to me at times. I look beyond their faults and I see their need. I wean them little by little with the Word of God, showering them with God's unconditional love. And now years later they are saved, serving God as active soulwinners, rescuing men's souls from the grip of Satan with the hope of the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ. I live to help people for Christ!

I didn't write this blog to brag that I am a better person than Jeff Redlin, God forbid. I am just as much a dirty wicked sinner as the next guy. We are all wicked! I wrote this blog to draw attention to the masquerade of phony religion today. I wrote this blog to pull back the big curtain, to expose the little contemptible man at the control at PCC. The world sees 'The Great Oz' at PCC, with their expensive extravagant buildings, and their fake image of being a church that actually loves God and people. THEY ARE LIARS AT PCC!!!

The official motto at Campus Church is: “LOVING GOD! LOVING PEOPLE!” Sadly, they don't practice what they preach! At PCC you either give unwavering allegiance to the cult's leaders, or else you are shunned, ostracized and thrown under the bus. I attended Campus Church for a few months in 2021. Pastor Redlin was brash and insensitive in his remarks, which deeply hurt my feelings. When I kindly told him that as the pastor of Campus Church he made me feel like garbage. His ungodly reply was “That's your reality.” In other words, he said I feel like garbage because of my own wrong thinking. But that is not what I said to him. I had kindly told Pastor Redlin that he made me feel like garbage.

Tragically, the incompetent leaders of PCC and Campus Church are intellectual devils. They think they are smarter than they really are. They think they are cute elevating themselves into the place of God. At PCC, only SOME LIVES MATTER. But in a genuine New Testament church, ALL LIVES MATTER. That is why I wrote this blog dear friend, because I want to expose PCC for not caring, helping or loving the 1% among us, those who need their compassion and love the most. It is NOT okay to only love and care about the 99% percent.

To clarify, I am not talking about belligerent people with whom you cannot reason or make peace (although you should express God's love toward those individuals). I am talking about people like me, who have already apologized multiple times to PCC's leaders. I am still willing to reconcile and make peace with them, but they hate me and refuse to make a path of RESTORATION. Galatians 6:1-3 teaches to seek restoration with fallen brothers and sisters in Christ, in a humble spirit of meekness.

Jesus said if you bring your gift to the altar to give God, but remember that a brother has ought against you (i.e., someone is pissed off at you for some reason), the Lord WILL NOT accept your worship until you first go and reconcile with your brother. I have ought against Jeff Redlin and PCC. I have already gone to them, but they refuse to cooperate. Matthew 5:23, “Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.” I want the world to know that I HAVE OUGHT AGAINST CAMPUS CHURCH AND PENSACOLA CHRISTIAN COLLEGE!!!

They refuse to reconcile. They hate my guts and won't even talk with me, which is wickedness. PCC's leaders and support staff are all in bed together in apostasy, mistreating and shunning anybody who they don't accept in their CULT. That is why both Campus Church and PCC have blocked my Facebook account. God hears my humble cry! God sees their arrogance at PCC, and that they have become a spiritual Sodom at Campus Church (which is really a cult, and no church at all). Only religious cults shun and reject hurting people, selectively choosing who is relevant and who is expendable. It is all about money, money, money at PCC. Thank you for reading.

There is a major problem in Bible colleges, ministries and churches all across America, which is that professed Christians don't care about individual people. That is why I wrote this blog. It is not accepted to only care about the majority, but then discard the minority. Jesus didn't just care about the 99 sheep safe in the fold, He cared also about that 1 lamb who went astray. When people become discouraged or disgruntled and leave church, we ought never just let them go. We should go after them with God's love, begging them to come back. We should seek restoration, not just kick people out of church when they have fallen. People just want to be loved.

By God's grace, I wrote this blog to help you discern what is wrong with Pensacola Christian College (PCC), Bob Jones University (BJU) and so many other shabby so-called “Christian ministries” today where individual people are expendable. The truth is that no church or ministry is pleasing to God who discards people, throwing unwanted people under the bus.  I know that I am nothing, but PCC arrogantly thinks they are something. At PCC the system always comes first, individual people do not matter. Galatians 6:3, “For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.”

The Bible commands us as saints to esteem others as being BETTER THAN OUR SELF. Philippians 2:3, “Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Something is very wrong with PCC, when they can all meet in their so-called “Campus Church” and sing religious songs like everything is just fine, while people like me and Samantha Field are at home hurting in inexplicable pain of soul, because PCC won't have anything to do with us. You cannot crap on your Christian brother and then worship God in church like nothing is wrong. God's curse is upon the PCC camp, until they start loving the 1% who need their love, compassion and empathy. The heart of my website ministry for the past 21 years has been reaching out the the 1%. By God's grace I will continue to do so.

Don't Let A Snake Talk You into Divorcing

Jeremiah 3:20, “Surely as a wife treacherously departeth from her husband, so have ye dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, saith the LORD.”

Sadly, in 2012 after 25-years of happy marriage, Marie Schwarzenegger filed for divorce and called it quits. Despite showers of candy and flowers from Arnold, who didn't want the divorce, Marie had been poisoned by the snakes in her life. According to Arnold, “Maria's friends have done everything they can to poison the waters,“ imploring Maria to stay clear of him. This is exactly why so many marriages are ending in divorce, that is, because people are like deadly snakes, who go around in hypocrisy destroying other people's marriages and lives; yet they do not suffer any consequences themselves.

I am fully convinced that God in Heaven is going to severely punish anyone who contributes in the least way to causing a divorce (including ungodly greedy judges and lawyers). Jesus Christ warned in Matthew 7:2, “For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.” These vicious hypocrites who scrutinize other people's lives to justify a divorce, crucifying them over every sin they can find in the spouse, will be dealt with likewise on Judgment Day by God.
Arnold Schwarzenegger Resigned to Divorce
TMZ | April 11, 2012

Arnold Schwarzenegger would like Maria Shriver to take him back, but he's not holding out hope and is at peace with the likely end of his marriage ... sources very close to the actor tell TMZ.

As TMZ first reported, Maria has waffled on divorcing her hubby, partly because he still has a strong emotional hold on her and partly because divorce runs counter to her religion. But we're told as time passes and both Arnold and Maria have created separate lives, divorce is looking more certain.

We're told Arnold believes Maria's friends have done everything they can to poison the waters, imploring Maria to stay clear of him.

This is so typical of busy-bodies today who interfere in other people's business, minding what their neighbor is doing instead of minding their own children, home and marriage. People love to give unsought advice, destructive advice, based upon their own emotional anger and short-sighted solutions. Divorce, divorce, divorce is their answer for everything. Yet, they wouldn't want anyone meddling in their marriage, trying to convince their spouse to eat the forbidden fruit, and disobey God by filing for divorce.

God had made an agreement with the nation Israel, which He later broke off because of their rebellion, but God did not divorce His people. God divorced the nation of Israel. It was an agreement gone bad, a business deal fallen through. In sharp contrast, marriage is a commitment, not an agreement. Divorce is an agreement. Marriage is two people committing themselves to remain faithful to each other—'til death do us part. That means "for the rest of your life" in the Greek. I'm kidding about the Greek of course, but I am serious when I remind you that marriage is a lifetime commitment. All it takes to fall in love is a pulse, but to stay married requires a plan.

All it took was one malicious, little, snake to destroy Eve's life, ruin her future happiness, hurt her marriage and cause the downfall of the human race. Eve made the mistake of LISTENING TO OTHERS. My advice to anyone reading this article, especially you ladies, is to avoid seeking advice from people. This includes so-called Christian people, most of whom are as “Christian” as Judas Iscariot. If you want advice, seek it from a mother who's been faithfully married for 50-years. But still, she might give you bad advice. Your best bet is to SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES as Jesus commanded in John 5:39. What most people do is allow someone else to tell them what the Scripture teach, and they instead twist the Bible horribly to fit their agenda. It is evil.

I've had so many people ask me what are the biblical grounds for divorce. I immediately tell them that there are NONE! Jesus said in Matthew 19:8 that only by the hardness of one's heart does divorce occur. Jesus said in Matthew 18:22 to forgive not 7 times, but 7 times 70 (i.e., unlimited forgiveness). In divorce, a spouse is refusing to forgive even once. It is the ultimate act of self-righteousness. In filing for divorce a spouse is saying, “You are a bigger sinner than me; therefore, I have a right to abandon and divorce you.” You cannot show me that in the inspired Word of God. The Lord HATES divorce.

Marriage is for life—until death do us part. Anything less makes the departing spouse a fraud and a liar. Please don't let a snake ruin your life, as it did Eve's. The serpent was cunning, using the Bible to convince Eve to do evil. That's exactly what so many religious people do today, i.e., they corrupt the meaning of the Scriptures in an attempt to justify all sorts of sins: divorce, abortion, homosexuality, feminism, worldly music, pornography, stealing, killing, et cetera. They did the same thing in the Old Testament (Jeremiah 7:9-10).

The people who destroy your life go home to their spouse, move on with their normal life, and you likely won't hear from them ever again. That's the way the heathen world operates. They destroy families and then act innocent like they did nothing wrong. I guarantee you that the wicked people who talk you into filing for divorce, will ultimately go their merry way as did the snake in the Garden of Eden. Once the snake convinced Eve to eat the forbidden fruit, we never read about him again in the story. Likewise, well-meaning malicious people will ruin your life with bad advice if you let them, by taking their poisonous advice. Even the most wicked people sincerely think that their horrible advice is the right thing to do. Satan controls their mind. Ungodly daytime shows like The View and Oprah Winfrey are as wicked as hell.

Don't Seek Advice From Wicked People At Church

If you are going through a difficult time in your life, where do you turn for help? As a born-again Christian for 43 years, since I got saved in 1980 at age 13, I have learned very much. My humble advice to you dear reader, when you hit rock bottom in life, is to SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES! On a regular basis, I listen to fundamentalist Bible preaching even when things are going well in life, and the weather is fair. That way when the raging storms come, I have plenty of sermon truths laid up for the raining days.

I cannot warn you enough about churchgoers who give destructive advice, recommending a divorce. Women especially are vulnerable to wicked men and women at church, who hide behind religion to justify their meddling and hatred toward husbands who don't attend church with the wife. Since the people at church know the wife, but not her husband, they do everything in their power to help the wife leave her husband. That is as wicked as Hell. I have seen this happen so, so, many times.

A man's relationship with his wife supersedes the wife's relationship with her pastor and local church. Before God ever created children, He instituted the marriage relationship. Before God ever created the Church, He instituted the marriage relationship. Before God ever created human government, He instituted the marriage relationship. Your marriage trumps every other human relationship, even with your own family. The only thing that trumps one's marriage is our relationship with God. ...

Unfortunately, most people don't spiritually prepare for the dark times of life, so when they come suddenly without warning, those people are overwhelmed with grief and sorrow. Some commit suicide. Others turn to destructive vices like booze and drugs. I still feed in my soul from sermon truths that I learned from Dr. Jack Hyles 35 years ago. Whereas the Bible never changes, the world and society constantly change. In 1962 homosexuality was a punishable crime in all 50 states, but today it is legal in all 50 states. Sadly, in 2022 a Gallup Poll showed that 71% of Americans now approve of same-sex unions. America is spiraling down into the depths of Hell.

If you are married, you need to talk with each other as husband and wife, and make a plan for your marriage to survive. You need to not withhold secrets from each other. You should both set rules about not being alone with the opposite sex, people to whom you are not married.

Adultery almost always starts with spending time alone with friends or co-workers of the opposite sex. No married person should ever engage in dirty talk, or discussion over intimacy in one's own marriage. It is shocking how lacking in common sense, decency and class people are concerning their own marriage. I have heard men in the workplace talk about what they do with their wife in bed. That is as wicked as hell. The marriage bed is sacred and holy in God's sight. Hebrews 13:4, “Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.”

Guard your marriage dear reader! No married man should allow other women to flirt and spend time with him. No married woman should ever allow any man other than her husband to touch her, not even on the shoulder. Ungodly men will test a woman, testing the perimeters. If she allow him to touch her, those hands and fingers will creep lower and lower. Just say, “Please do not touch me again.” If he does, it is sexual harassment, and you should file a police report. Our modern adulterous society is sickening!!! You need to let other people know how far YOU WON'T GO!!! All men are sex pigs, don't forget that ladies. Dr. Hyles used to say in response to people who criticized his preaching against immodestly clothed women: “Brother Hyles, you have a dirty mind. No, I have a man's mind.” That is a great answer!

Always Protect Your Marriage

Protect your marriage! That is what we are talking about here. Don't listen to the counsel of the ungodly. Psalms 1:1, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.” I cannot warn you enough dear friend to avoid receiving ungodly counsel. Christians ought not seek advice from secular psychologists. A psychiatrist is okay if you need medications to cope with a mental disorder.

Christian youth ought never attend a secular university, where the lies of evolution, humanism, communism, socialism, sex perversion and atheism are taught. My favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 4:23, “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” This is why you ought not listen to some cackling divorced hen, or some single woman who is not even married yet, or someone who is living a sinful lifestyle of fornication—encourage you to file for divorce. If you want advice, go seek advice from a Christian woman who is still happily married after 30 or 40 years, and she has successfully raised 4 or 5 children of her own. That is the kind of woman you should seek advice from, not a feminist woman who is divorced. Bad advice is like cancer—it spreads and kills everything that it comes into contact with.

I sincerely care about people. Please be careful, especially you ladies, whom the Bible teaches is the “weaker vessel” (1st Peter 3:7). Divorce is a sin that perpetuates for a lifetime! The grass only seems greener on the other side of the fence. You should start planting grass in your own yard. In divorce and remarriage, you are only exchanging one set of problems for another set of problems.

There are exceptions of course, where people who have divorced and remarried say they were much happier and better off in their second marriage. Only God knows if that is true, but it doesn't change the fact that Jesus said God never intended for divorce to happen. Matthew 19:8, “He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. There is just something honorable and beautiful about hanging in there, with the resolve and determination to never get divorced.

I remember when I attended the First Baptist Church of Hammond. A young married couple were having serious marital problems. In fact, things were so bad that the husband sat on one side of the church auditorium, and his wife sat on the other side of the church auditorium. I remember Dr. Hyles praising and commending them, without pointing them out or mentioning their names, saying how proud he was of them for hanging in there and not divorcing. Ladies and gentlemen, we need that kind of commitment in our marriages once again, where couple vow to rather die than get divorced.

It is sad and tragic that American society has adopted the insane mentality that divorce is the only answer to our marriage problem. And locking people up in prison is the only answer for school truancy, drug addiction and mental illness. We've lost our minds in the United States. We allow our government to give away tens of billions of dollars each year to foreign countries, while we won't even house our own citizens who are homeless on the streets across our nation. Charity must begin at home, not abroad. Our ridiculous and incompetent federal government spends 6.6 trillion dollars each year, and in 2022 gave 24 billion dollars just to NASA. In 2023 NASA is getting another 25.4 billion dollars.

Dear reader, divorce is NEVER the solution. Killing your marriage is what the Devil wants, not what God wants. No marriage can be destroyed from without. Wicked men may separate a husband and wife (e.g., by war or some manmade crisis), but that marriage is still holy ground and completely valid in God's sight, until one spouse dies. No marriage can be destroyed from without. A marriage can only be destroyed from within. A marriage is two people making a life for each other, and never giving up on each other.

It is hard for me to understand how anyone can divorce their spouse of 20, 30, 40 or more years! It is so sad and unnecessary. Dear Sir, marriage is about being committed to God, to love your wife at all times, especially when she is difficult and crazy. Dear Miss, marriage is about being committed to God, to obey your husband at all times, especially when you disagree with him. God didn't command the husband to lead his wife; but rather, to LOVE her! If you truly love her, she will follow and obey you.

Interesting, God doesn't command you ladies to love your husband; but rather, He commands you to SUBMIT to your man. God knew exactly what He was doing when He created men and women. If you want your husband to love you, then obey him; if you want your wife to obey you, then love her. Guard your marriage. Be alert for attacks upon your marriage. Watch out men for that flirtatious woman. Be alert ladies for that flirtatious man.

And may I saw, I humbly don't believe that a wife should work in a secular workplace, where there is much temptation. I can tell you sad story after story about working wives who ran off with some bum at work. In one tragic true news story, a wicked man at worked seduced a married woman with his charms and kindness. She fell in love with him and they began a sinful adulterous affair. When the husband learned about it, he murdered his wife and went to prison for life. The children went to live with the grandparents. The ungodly adulterer at work walked away Scot-free. I think he should be in prison too, for life. Adultery always starts with wrong thinking. So guard your mind dear friend. Colossians 3:1-3 says to set your affection upon the things of Heaven, not earth.

Christianity Continues To Rapidly Decline In The U.S.,
More People Are Becoming Non-religious

God Is Interested In Your Obedience More Than Attitude

Matthew 21:28-32, “But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard. He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went. And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not. Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.”

I love this story that the Lord told. It was about two son. Their father owned a vineyard which needed some work done. He asked both of his sons to go work in his vineyard. The first son had a good attitude and was agreeable, telling his father that he would gladly go work in the vineyard, but afterwards he went not. The other son had a bad attitude and was disagreeable, refusing to go work in his father's vineyard, but he later changed his mind and went to work in the vineyard. Jesus said that the second son pleased his father, not the first.

I love this story and often am reminded of it, because sometimes I get angry at God. I admit that I have called God names and yelled at Him sometimes. Since 2004 I have woefully suffered from stenosis and radiculitis in my cervical spinal cord, which causes constant chronic pain, burning nerves, numbness, radiating pain in my limbs and other discomforts. It is hard to be spiritual when you are in pain all the time. And worse, the agonizing pain is right next to my head, in my neck, and there is no relief. The Oxycontin and Percocet do help alleviate my pain a bit, but nothing completely removes the pain. It feels like a giant toothache in the back of my neck, where the bone is at, the size of a baseball. This constant debilitating, dull, throbbing pain has ruined my life since 2004 when it began. It is difficult for my to carry on normal conversations with people. I often close my eyes while talking, to cope with the pain.

As you can imagine, this pain and discomfort makes me irritable, less than patient and I get frustrated easily. So it is not hard to understand why I get upset with God sometimes, and I tell Him off! Even though I know in my heart that this is wrong to do, I know 100% that my dear Savior understands. God sees my pain of body and soul. God sees my utter loneliness for the past 17 years, since my former wife abandoned and divorced me in 2006. God sees the thieves (or thief) who have three times stolen from me during the past three months. They have stolen $600 worth of stuff, including my King James Bible (which was full of irreplaceable sermon notes).

God sees my broken heart because Pensacola Christian College (PCC) has literally banned me in writing from attending their Campus Church. I feel nothing but contempt and hatred for the PCC family. I begged them, humbly apologizing three time in 2022, requesting just to attend Campus Church again, but Pastor Jeff Redlin coldly refused. That is so rotten and unchristian of PCC! So God sees my sincerity, that I have made a diligent attempt to reconcile with the PCC family, but they refuse to even communicate with me. That is so ungodly! God hears my cry and sees my pain of soul because of the unloving hypocrites at Campus Church and PCC, their huge egos and sinful pride.

God sees that I am alone in life. My wife abandoned me. The local PCC family hates and rejects me. I suffer in constant pain. Who wouldn't get upset and at times have a bad attitude? I know that my blessed Savior cares and understands. PCC will be held accountable by God one day for their woeful lack of love or compassion, for not reaching out with love to the 1% who have fallen through the cracks at PCC. People just want to be loved.

Despite my bad attitude at times, and my anger over life's miseries in general, God knows that I ALWAYS go right back to working day and night on my website ministry. The dear Lord knows where He can find me day after day, night after night, tirelessly working hard long hours to preach the Gospel, contend for the Christian faith, expose falsehoods and evil, and feed Jesus' sheep. Yes, I admit, sometimes I get upset and tell God that: “I have had enough, I am done, do it yourself!” I sometimes get mad at God because I feel like He never answers my prayers. I feel like no matter what I say, pray or do, everything is all my fault. Why is God ignoring my humble prayers? Why won't the Lord help me with anything. I feel sometimes like God has abandoned me. Yet, I know that everything God does is right!!!

What makes me so angry is that I KNOW God can do anything. God sees all. God knows all. God is all powerful. There is NOTHING too hard for God to do. So why won't He help me? Why am I all alone without a wife, when I have prayed over 1,000 times over the past 10 years for God to help me find a woman to marry; someone to have and to hold in love, for better for worse, in sickness and in health, 'til death do us part? Why won't God help me? Doesn't He care? I am confident that you have also felt the same way at times. I do know that many other people have shared these same frustrations and feelings toward God, because they contact me to ask me these very same questions. It is called properly, “Religious Scrupulosity.

When people ask me why God doesn't care, I always guide them to 2nd Corinthians 5:7, “(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)” If we pray and then look for results, we are walking BY SIGHT. We ought not do that. We should pray and then just trust the Lord, walking BY FAITH. Perhaps God is testing my faith, to see if I really believe the truths that I am teaching others. I admit that I sometimes feel like quitting my ministry. I have often felt like just walking away from everything. I have often wanted to leave society, completely disappear off social media and the internet, never to be heard from again. I'd like to move to a mountainous area and buy a small cabin home out in the middle of nowhere, in a remote rural town.

So why don't I do it? In two words, “by faith.” I cannot help people for Christ if I leave the internet. The only reason that I have a Facebook, Twitter or any social media account is to get lost sinners saved, contend for the Christian faith, and feed Jesus' sheep. Daniel 11:33, “And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. I know that God is pleased with me, despite my bad attitude and wanting to quit at times, simply because I keep serving God. By God's grace, I am getting the job done! Thousands of lost sinners have been saved through my humble ministry labors over the past 21 years, since 2002 when I began. I give God ALL the credit and praise. Jesus is precious!!!

So despite my constant agonizing neck pain, I keep laboring for my dear Savior. Despite my loneliness and lack of a wife for companionship and comfort, I keep going for God. The blessed indwelling Holy Spirit sustains me. As I type, I feel physical burning in my nerves throughout my upper body. It all radiates from damaged spinal cord nerve roots in my neck (it is medically called radiculitis). God is so good and I have no complaints.

Robbers have stolen 3 times from me in the past 3 months. I have filed 3 police reports. The thieves are always one step ahead of me. As an imperfect human, I sometimes forget to lock my cars doors. The thieves were just waiting for that moment, and they struck, stealing my King James Bible and $400 worth of my stuff. They stole all my sermon notes, which I cannot replace. My heart is broken. I hate a thief! Stealing is not a victimless crime, far from it. Thieves force us to live in fear all the time. Lord willing, I hope to save enough money in the next few years to move to a nicer area in the suburbs of a city. If you live in any populated area in the United States, there are dirty thieves everywhere. Albeit, my heart is comforted by Jesus' precious promise in Matthew 6:19-20, that the rewards we lay up in Heaven are untouchable by thieves, rust or corruption.

Every time that I have become angry at God and told Him off, I wept later that same day, asking for His forgiveness. And every single time without fail, the dear Savior silently says to my soul that He completely understands, and that He knows I have a lot on my plate and shoulders, and everything is okay. I know that God loves me. He sees and even feels my pain of body and soul. God sees the unloving saints at PCC who refuse to allow me to attend Campus Church.

God sees their hypocrisy at Pensacola Christian College (PCC). Jesus knows that Pastor Jeff Redlin gets paid well over $100,000 a year (a 6-digit salary), but I have never been paid a single cent over the past 21 years. God knows that I have approximately 75,000 hours of time invested in my website ministry, far more labor than 99% of pastors anywhere. I work far more hours than Pastor Redlin, and I do it by faith for Jesus all for free! Pastor Redlin and company already have their rewards. My reward is waiting for me up in Heaven. Since I have laboured for 75,000 hours for Christ, without receiving a single penny in compensation; but Jeff Redlin has been paid literally MILLIONS OF DOLLARS during his pastoral career, God will reward me that much more; otherwise God would be unfair and unethical.

So dear friend, if you find yourself getting frustrated and upset at God sometimes, just keep serving Him. Just keep preaching the Gospel to lost sinners, and God will be pleased. There are terrible broken churches all across the United States, where the pastor has a seemingly good attitude, but there is no soulwinning. Churches everywhere meet for weekly Bible studies and prayer meetings, but never knock on a single neighborhood door to share the Gospel of free grace. So their church languishes in mediocre attendance, and there is no contending for the Christian faith, and the baptistery is seldom used if ever to baptize new converts (because there are none). Sadly, America's fastest growing churches are the worldly ones.

I hope this Bible truth is as encouraging to you dear friend, as it has been for me for many years. We all succumb to our emotions at times. Everyone has a breaking point! But God is not so much interested in your temporary mood swings and anger toward Him, as He is about your long-term trend. John 15:7, “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.” God's ultimate desire and goal for every believer is that we become soulwinners!!!

Luke 8:15, “But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience. There is a direct correlation between saints who truly abide in God's Word and winning souls. Any man who spends thousands of hours in the Bible, but never shares the Gospel with lost sinners, is a fraud. That man knows nothing about the great nature and heart of God our Savior. Luke 19:10, “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
