Walk Not In The Counsel Of The Ungodly

Psalms 1:1-2, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”

We are surrounded by ungodly advice in society. Fools abound in our crooked and perverse American culture! You have to be very careful what advice you take from people, the philosophies that you adopt from friends and family, and what you hear on television.

As an example, many people these days sinfully encourage divorce, but the Bible strictly forbids divorce for any reason. The only time divorce happens is when someone's heart is hardened (Matthew 19:8). God hates divorce (Jeremiah 3:20; Malachi 2:16). If someone files for divorce, God will not direct your paths, you are on your own! You have the freedom to take an elevator to the top of the Empire State Building and jump off, but the consequences are on you! Pastor Jack Hyles is right—“Divorce is a sin that perpetuates for a lifetime!” It sure does!

You've likely heard MacDonald's famous slogan: “You deserve a break today!” No, actually we all deserve to go straight to Hell and be punished in fire forever for our sins. You've probably heard Burger King's slogan: “Have it your way!” No, the Bible teaches that we should have it God's way. These are humanistic statements made by people who do not honor nor fear God. Ecclesiastes 12:13, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.I love how the Bible simplifies life down to simply fearing God and obeying the Holy Bible. Many people do not take the Bible seriously, and they are the ones we read about in the news every day—ruined lives, broken families and a path of destruction.

I admonish every Christian believer to live in the King James Bible!!! If you naively believe that rich men wrote the Bible to control the masses, I feel sorry for you! If men could write the Bible they wouldn't, and if they would they couldn't! ...
“I believe the Bible is the best gift God has ever given to man. All the good from the Savior of the world is communicated through this book...All things desirable to men are contained in the Bible.” —Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865), 16th President of the United States
“It is impossible to mentally or socially enslave a Bible-reading people.” —Horace Greeley (1811-1872), Publisher and Journalist
What saith the Scripture? John 15:3, “Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.” Psalms 119:9, Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.” Psalms 119:104, “Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.” I love those Scripture passages! The inspired Word of God makes the difference! Be very careful what advice you take from people who don't love the Lord Jesus Christ, who don't esteem the Holy Scripture as the most important thing we live by! That is why I don't think any Christian ought ever seek professional help from a psychologist. They are trained in heathenistic, evolutionistic, humanistic state universities which reject the inspired Word of God! Secular psychologists don't approach human problems from the standpoint of sin as the root cause; but rather, they blame your genetics, parents, friends, relatives and circumstances.

One of the worst publications ever created is “SELF magazine. The first issue was published in 1979. They have millions of selfish subscribers. What saith the Scripture? Philippians 2:3-5, “Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselvesLook not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:The Bible teaches that we should esteem other people as being BETTER than us. The Bible didn't say to view others as EQUALS, but as being BETTER. Do you know why? It is simply because if you have the mindset that everyone is better than you, then you will humbly treat everyone with love and respect. You don't slander and gossip about people unless you think YOU ARE BETTER than them! That is sinful pride by the way! We have a big “i” problem in America! The middle letter of the words “sin” and “pride” is the letter “i”!

Always test everything against the inspired Word of God. 1st John 4:1, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. I plead with you dear reader to use only the trustworthy King James Bible, and always think objectively. Question everything! That is why I always use the phrase from Romans 3:4b, What saith the Scripture? We are living in perilous times—a time when we have sodomite leaders, judges and other wicked people in positions of power and influence—who have broken decision makers because of their woeful lack of fear of God and missing moral integrity. How can we expect such individuals to do the right thing? Case in point is a new law that prohibits denying gender reassignment surgery to convicted criminals behind bars. I feel like I'm in an episode of 'The Twilight Zone'! Taxpayers have to pay for that nonsense! I don't even want to go out my door anymore! Proverbs 28:28, “When the wicked rise, men hide themselves: but when they perish, the righteous increase.”
“Now, there's only one thing we need in America—and that is an old-fashioned real Bible revival! I mean a real BIBLE REVIVAL! It'll straighten out the home, straighten out the children, make the husband act right, put the wife in order; it'll take care of the preacher, the church; I mean it'll fix up the community, I mean it'll stop the Devil dead in his tracks; I mean it'll give victory to God's people—the Word of God!” —Brother Lester Roloff (1914-1982), “The Book That Makes The Difference!
