We Believe In The Inspiration Of The Bible

2nd Timothy 3:16-17, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”

I am alarmed today how many professed Independent Fundamental Baptists deny the VERBAL INSPIRATION of the King James Bible! It is sad and tragic. I rejoice every time I read or hear a man of God proclaim the INSPIRATION of the King James Bible. Here are some such notable men, to name but a few:
“We believe in the inspiration of the Bible.” —Dr. Bob Jones Sr., “Comments On Here And hereafter,” page 103; Bob Jones University Press Inc., 1942
“Whether in sunshine or rain, it will help us to have these inspired words before us: HAVE FAITH IN GOD.” —Pastor Lee Roberson, a quote from the sermon: “Have Faith In God.”
“The only inspired Words of God are in the King James Bible!” —Dr. Jack Hyles, an awesome quote from the sermon, “THE REAL BATTLE!”
“Every word in this Bible is inspired by God almighty!” —Dr. Jack Hyles, a quote from the sermon, “A Friend At Midnight
“What He at first inspired, the Lord God has now preserved. Therefore, when I hold the King James Bible in my hand, I hold the inspired text. It was inspired and now that inspired Word has been protected, preserved and provided for us!” —Dr. Shelton Smith, What Is That Book You Hold In Your Hand?
“God's 'Words' are inspired, not just the 'Word' (Ezekiel 2:7 and 3:4 'words'; Isaiah 51:6 'words').” —Pastor Al Lacy, quote from the 'King James Bible Seminar' at Hyles-Anderson College, summer 1993
God promised in Psalms 12:6-7 to “PRESERVE” His PURE WORDSfrom that generation forever. Psalms 12:6-7, “The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.” Unfortunately, all of the modern Bible revisions corrupt this passage, completely removing God's promise, changing it to God protects His saints instead of His Words. Dear friend, inspiration without preservation is meaningless; but equally so, inspiration without preservation is also meaningless!

Beware Of Subtle Deceptions Today Denying Bible Inspiration

I am sick and tired of cowardly pastors who won't stand for the inspiration of the King James Bible. Respectfully, case in point is Pastor Todd Lasseter of the Trinity Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas. In their church's Statement of Faith, they state:
1. The Scriptures
That the Holy Bible was divinely inspired by God and given to man as the only complete and final revelation of the will of God to man. By the "Holy Bible," we mean that collection of sixty-six books (Genesis to Revelation) of the Old and New Testaments, which we believe is the very Word of God. Because inspiration without preservation would be meaningless, and the original manuscripts of the Bible are no longer in existence, God has supernaturally and providentially preserved His Word, without error, for us today in the AV 1611 (King James Version) of the Bible. We believe that this preserved Bible is the final authority for us in all matters of faith, doctrine, and practice. Finally, we believe that Christians should not only believe the Book, but also do what it commands and teaches. —Trinity Baptist Church [emphasis added]
To say “WAS” is not IS”! Pastor Lasseter has echoed Pastor Jack Schaap's position on the Bible. They just won't say it! They just won't confess that 'THE KING JAMES BIBLE IS INSPIRED'!!! First Baptist Church Of Hammond has the SAME problem, and consequently Hyles-Anderson College (which they own and control). I am so sick of this rhetoric that comes 99%, but falls short, of declaring that we have an inspired Bible today!!!
“I'm tired of colleges and universities advertising that they use the King James Bible. Tell the whole story! Tell everyone that you do not believe that it is inspired word for word.” —Pastor Jack Hyles, “The Need for an Every-Word Bible,” page 54
Kindly, Dr. Schaap wrote this compelling article in the 2009 edition of 'THE VOICE,' which contains some really great information, but to anyone who understands the entirety of the issue, Brother Schaap was trying to do damage control, claiming that dozens of Bible colleges and religious groups were in doctrinal AGREEMENT with his errant position on the Bible. Up until Pastor Schaap stunned the fundamental work at Pastor's School in 2008, in which he publicly denied the inspiration of the King James Bible, most Christians had never questioned the inspiration of the King James Bible. We've been forced to choose sides in the debate, which is actually a good thing I think, solidifying our belief in an inspired Bible!
“The biggest split that has ever come will come in the next ten years, if not sooner, over the King James Bible - and it couldn't come soon enough for me. I'm tired of colleges and universities advertising that they 'use' the King James Bible - tell the whole story! Tell everyone that you do not believe that it is inspired word for word.” —Pastor Jack Hyles, from the Wednesday night Bible study titled, “Revelation to Illumination” (1998)
Kindly said, Jack Schaap is very deceitful when he claims to believe that the Bible is inspired, because he in fact DOESN'T believe that the King James Bible is in itself inspired. Don't take my word for it, read what Dr. Russell Anderson (dear co-founder of Hyles-Anderson College said in 2009 and again in 2015 in an open letter to both Pastor Jack Schaap and Pastor John Wilkerson, pleading with them to return Hyles-Anderson College (HAC) to their former position that the King James Bible is the verbally-inspired Word of God.

As much as many biased fundamentalist Christians today will attempt to downplay and whitewash the issue, to protect their own, the fact of the matter is that YOU WILL NEVER HEAR ANYONE AT FBCH OR HAC SAY FROM A PULPIT THAT THE KING JAMES BIBLE IS INSPIRED BY GOD. They'll say the Bible is the inspired Word of God, to hide their true agenda, but when all is said and done, they DON'T believe that the King James Bible is inspired by God. What they DO believe is that ONLY THE ORIGINAL AUTOGRAPHS were inspired as God, as He breathed out those Words to holy men of old.

What's the big deal you say? Let's hear Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) answer that question, refuting Dr. Stewart Custer and Bob Jones University...

The Shameful Legacy of Dr. Stewart Custer At BJU

I agree with the following preaching by Brother Hyles, regarding the apostasy at Bob Jones University, and the shameful legacy of Dr. Stewart Custer (1931-2017), who for 47 years indoctrinated BJU students that we don't have a perfect Holy Bible today...
“Oh what does it mean! Brother Hyles, so what—a preacher boy goes down to Bob Jones University, and he sits in Dr. Custer's class, and Dr. Custer says we have no perfect Bible—what difference does it make? It makes all the difference in the world! And what you'd better do is take this Book, rather than some institution to which you subscribe your loyalty—what you better do is you better stop and realize that if you don't have a perfect English Bible, we cannot live, because man cannot live alone, but by every Word which proceedeth out of the mouth of the Father. Every Word up there has to get to us!” —Dr. Jack Hyles, a quote from my 4:19 hour YouTube video titled: 'THE BATTLE OF THE AGES.'
A shameful intern pastor on Guam from Pensacola Christian College (PCC) called me “OBSESSED” over the Bible debate. I make no apologies for that label, and I wear it with honor! If being CONSUMED WITH ZEAL because my enemies (including the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam) have forgotten the inspiration of God's Word, then so be it! ...
Psalms 119:139-142, “My zeal hath consumed me, because mine enemies have forgotten thy words. Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it. I am small and despised: yet do not I forget thy precepts. Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.”
God didn't author 900 Bibles (the number of English revisions according to the American Bible Society), nor for that matter did He author even TWO; God just wrote ONE BOOK!!!
“Students of Hyles-Anderson College, do not give your loyalty to Hyles-Anderson College. You give your loyalty to what we stand for today, and if tomorrow we don't stand for it, you withdraw your loyalty—loyalty to principle, loyalty to right, loyalty to character, loyalty to integrity, loyalty to conviction, loyalty to truth; not loyalty to institutions.” —Dr. Jack Hyles, from the sermon titled, “Filled With All The Fullness Of God.”
These cowardly professors and administrators in Bible colleges today, and cowardly fundamental Baptist church pastors, don't want to stick their necks out; so they say they believe that the Bible is inspired, preserved and perfect; but THEY WILL NOT actually say that: “THE KING JAMES BIBLE ITSELF IS VERBALLY INSPIRED!!!
“I would not give, knowingly, one thin dime to a college that does not believe in the verbal inspiration of this Book I hold tonight.” —Pastor Jack Hyles, from the timeless sermon, “YOU MUST GO THROUGH ARABIA”; preached October 11, 1981.

The Words Of God Are Inspired (“IN-SPIRIT”)

John 6:63, “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”
I am sick and tired of hearing today's apostate Bible colleges (which are training thousands of apostate church pastors) advertise a “preserved” King James Bible that is not “inspired”! It is woeful apostasy! In the preceding Bible verse, Jesus said that the Words He spoke are “SPIRIT” and “THEY ARE LIFE.” That is the difference between the words of a mortal man, versus the inspired Words of almighty God! It is a very big deal! It is a big deal to inspiration-deniers too, which is why they are so adamant to defend their wrong position. To save face and be loyal to their peers in the business of religion, today's ungodly Bible colleges and apostate churches are claiming that God only inspired the “original manuscripts” and then He “supernaturally preserved” those words. That is exactly what Bob Jones University believes and teaches their students...
“We believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of the Bible in the original manuscripts, and we believe that God has supernaturally preserved every one of His inspired words for us today. However, from the founder to the present administration, we have never taken the position that there can be only one good translation in the English language.” [emphasis added]
SOURCED: http://www.bju.edu/about/what-we-believe/translation.php
That is an impossible statement! Bob Jones University (BJU) sells multiple different Bible versions in their campus bookstore. BJU has a big problem doctrinally, because there are literally HUNDREDS of English Bible versions, and they differ in content DRASTICALLY!!! How can BJU claim to believe that God has “SUPERNATURALLY PRESERVED EVERY ONE OF HIS INSPIRED WORDS IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE,” while at the same time tolerating conflicting English Bible versions that completely contradict each other in words and meaning??? It is utter apostasy! If, as Bob Jones College asserts, God has “supernaturally preserved” His inspired words in multiple modern Bible revisions, then WHICH ONES? Bob Jones makes a bold statement, but then doesn't back it up. You cannot just claim to believe there are more Bibles than the King James Bible, but refuse to specify which ones.

God's Truth Is The Mighty Motivation Behind Soulwinning

Dear friend, I'm about to make a profound statement—TRUTH IS THE MIGHTY MOTIVATION BEHIND SOULWINNING!!! We obey The Great Commission to win souls, by preaching the Gospel of free grace, because we hold that to be THE TRUTH. For example: Calvinists do not go soul-winning, because they hold to the Devil's lie that God chooses who will or won't be saved, so it doesn't matter if we go soul-winning or not!

Another example is Evangelist Ray Comfort has ever led anybody to the Lord. He is a gifted public orator, and definitely reminds me of an old-time street preacher, but he preaches a counterfeit gospel of turning away from your sinful behavior, or else he says you don't qualify for salvation. Watch or Listen for yourself! Mr. Comfort says you must live a lifestyle of repentance, turning away from sinful behavior for the rest of your life. This is a works-based false gospel which cannot produce the new birth by faith alone in Jesus Christ!!!
So we see that when TRUTH gets corrupted, people cannot be saved! When the Word of God gets translated wrong, falsifying what it means to repent, people cannot be saved anymore. Satan's primary goal has ALWAYS been to corrupt TRUTH. In Genesis 3:1 the serpent corrupted God's truth into a lie, convincing Eve to believe God had forbade her to eat from any of the trees, except one; but God had said the exact opposite in Genesis 2:16-17, that she COULD eat from all the trees, except one! If you are gullible my friend, the Devil will have you all turned around backwards, not knowing which way is up. That is why we are taught to get grounded and settled in the inspired Word of God (Colossians 1:23). That is why I promote several thousand Bible based sermons on my ministry websites, to facilitate that truth! I love you dear reader, God knows my heart, and I want to see CHRIST FORMED IN YOU! Ga:4:19, My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
“The only reason that we fear anything is because we are people of little faith. When your faith is small, your fear is great; when your faith is great, your fear is small! America has a fear problem; Christians have a faith problem. Why are you fearful?” —Pastor Chuck Baldwin, “A CONTAGION OF FEAR
